Chapter 685: Solid Support

The little one had seen Yun Qiu since birth and truly believed in his mother’s words.

Ever since the two little ones turned a month old, Xu Mumu’s life had revolved around them daily. Her favorite thing to do now was to take pictures of the two kids.

She now had a pile of photos saved. Every time she took pictures of them, the two little ones would smile.

As the two little ones grew, they appeared incredibly adorable, with fair and tender looks resembling Yin Yang more in their facial features.

At the moment, it was hard to tell what their personalities would be like, but they were easy to care for and required no worry from her.

The two became the darlings of the family. They loved to smile and rarely cried, bringing joy to everyone at home, making them especially fond of them.

There were two strollers at home, where the two little ones lay, and Xu Mumu entertained them with a rattle.

Even after completing her confinement period, Yin Yang temporarily did not let Xu Mumu go out, intending for her to wait another month, treating it as a double confinement period.

Xu Mumu did not plan to go out yet either and was never tired of watching the two little ones every day.

At night, when Yin Yang returned home, Xu Mumu would show him the photos she had taken.

The phone’s camera feature was out now, though the resolution wasn’t great yet.

Even so, the two little ones still looked incredibly cute in the photos.

"Mom, I want to take pictures of my little brothers too," Doudou said, eyes gleaming as he looked at Xu Mumu. He also wanted a phone, but his parents wouldn’t let him have one, only occasionally allowing him to play with theirs.

"Go ahead and play," Xu Mumu said with a smile as she handed him the phone. It had a large memory, enough to store many photos.

"Thank you, mom," the little one said, immediately delighted.

With the phone, he kissed his brother’s cheeks while taking photos, his earnest expression overflowing with motherly love in Xu Mumu’s eyes.

In the evening, Yin Yang and Xu Mumu talked about Yun Luo.

"Do you remember Yun Luo?" Yin Yang asked gently.

"I do, why ask about her all of a sudden?" Xu Mumu looked at Yin Yang, puzzled.

"She’s dead. She provoked a severely ill person in the psychiatric hospital and was beaten to death," Yin Yang said coolly. This matter didn’t affect him much; Yun Luo’s tragic end seemed well-deserved.

"So be it," Xu Mumu said calmly after a moment of surprise. The matter didn’t affect her either; Yun Luo was neither a relative nor a friend, but an enemy and rival. Knowing she was gone brought her more peace of mind.

"As for the Yun Family, I plan to deal with them as well; they’ve been causing me trouble lately. I’ll be quite busy in the days to come," Yin Yang said, kissing his wife on the cheek.

Once those threats were dealt with, he intended to have a good rest with his wife.

"Go ahead and do what you must; I will always be your strongest support," Xu Mumu said seriously, surprised that he shared these thoughts with her.

"Okay," Yin Yang chuckled softly. He just wanted stability for his family. The Yun Family folks were maniacs, stopping at nothing to achieve their goals. They had long been adversaries, and it was time to remove this thorn.

Yun Luo had been arrogant, merely supported by the Yun Family, causing much trouble. Previously, when Yin Family just had him, the Yun Family was constantly scheming to swallow them.

And indeed, after a few days, Yin Yang got busier, waking up early and coming home late at night.

Xu Mumu felt heartache seeing the fatigue on Yin Yang’s face, but she couldn’t help much unless she physically fought for him.

She could only have Madam Chun make more nourishing food for Yin Yang to prevent exhaustion.

Doudou continued to be a good boy attending school every day. Yin Yang arranged for bodyguards to pick and drop him off, while Xu Mumu only needed to look after the two kids daily.

As the weather warmed up, Xu Mumu occasionally took the two children out to play in the yard.

Even though she had some idle time lately, Xu Mumu remained attentive to Xia Chengyuan’s side of things.

Now the software was officially out for everyone, and the chat application was gaining unprecedented popularity. Watching her software improve, Xu Mumu silently applauded Xia Chengyuan and their team, admiring their capability—they were indeed future prominent figures.

Other chat applications were gradually arising as well. Xu Mumu called Xia Chengyuan and his team home to discuss the next steps.

"Big sis, what kind of software do you want to make?" Xia Chengyuan asked curiously. He found her ideas brilliant, and the things she created were always well-received.

"This time, I plan to dabble in some entertainment—game programming," Xu Mumu said to Xia Chengyuan, unsure if he could manage, though she had great faith in his abilities.

"What made you think of making games?" Xia Chengyuan asked, somewhat surprised.

"I’m too bored, and the game market is quite big right now," Xu Mumu replied earnestly.

"It is indeed big, but not everyone can afford a phone yet. If we make games, will it be profitable?" Xia Chengyuan asked hesitantly.

"Of course, don’t worry! Even if it doesn’t profit, I’ll be the one investing, so you won’t lose anything," Xu Mumu reassured calmly.

"Do you just have too much money to spend?" Xu Xue rolled her eyes and said.

"I do have quite a lot. Over the years, I’ve earned a lot on my own, and the Yin Family isn’t short of money either. I have nowhere to spend what I’ve earned myself," Xu Mumu said with a laugh.

Xu Xue held her tongue. Although she too had earned a lot over the years, most was quickly reinvested, leaving her with little discretionary funds.

"Big sis, do you have any great ideas?" Xia Chengyuan asked, since Xu Mumu wasn’t afraid of losing money, he wasn’t either. Plus, he was very interested in her ideas.

"I actually called you here today for this very reason," Xu Mumu said with a smile, then shared some game concepts from her past life, including profitable models.

Xia Chengyuan fell into deep thought; the game model wasn’t complicated, but could it really be profitable?

"It’s feasible, but the studio will need to recruit more talent, especially in design," Xia Chengyuan said seriously.

"Indeed, especially those game interfaces and characters. They need to be attractive to draw players," Xu Mumu earnestly discussed.
