Bai Zheng held onto her small shoulders and nodded heavily, "Yes, Daddy knows, and Daddy has a way to make Mommy happy. Will you help me?"

Meimei lifted her small face, her beautiful big eyes blinking, and agreed without hesitation, "I also want Mommy to be happy!"

"Come, Daddy will tell you. This is what you go and say to Mommy..."

Bai Zheng pulled Meimei into his arms and whispered softly into her little ear.

"Did you remember everything?"

"I remembered." Meimei’s beautiful big eyes blinked, she nodded obediently, and when Bai Zheng let go, she turned her little body and ran back a few steps.

Just as she ran into the villa entrance, she stopped, looked back uneasily, and asked, "Daddy, will you wait for me here?"

"Yes, Daddy will always wait for you here."

Bai Zheng’s eyes tightened, watching Meimei, who was afraid he might leave, feeling a pang of bitterness in his heart.

"Then I’ll make Mommy happy, and when Mommy is happy, she’ll come out to find Daddy." Meimei seemed to be comforting herself, murmuring for a while, then turned her head and continued running forward.

She ran through the bodyguards, past the living room, and back into her room in one breath.

"Mommy..."

Meimei pushed open the door and cautiously poked her little head inside.

Her big eyes scanned the room but couldn’t see Ye Mingmei anywhere. "Huh, where did Mommy go?"

Meimei’s soft little body squeezed in from outside, crouched down, and walked inside. After a few steps, she suddenly remembered that she was here to make Mommy happy, not to steal keys. Why was she sneaking around?

"Meimei, what are you doing?"

Ye Mingmei opened the bathroom door, just about to walk out, and saw the little girl hiding by the sofa, her action of wiping her hair paused.

Water dripped down from the tips of her hair, spreading a damp spot on her chest, and the hickey on her neck became more noticeable on her soaked skin.

"Mommy, did a bug bite your neck? Why is it red?" Meimei was slightly stunned, unsure how to start the conversation. Her big eyes glanced over and she immediately ran up in surprise, pointing at Ye Mingmei’s neck.

Ye Mingmei’s barely calmed emotions turned pale with her unintentional action. She subconsciously covered her neck with her hand and prepared to return to the bathroom.

"Bang——"

The bathroom door slammed shut, with a hint of panic.

Meimei stared wide-eyed, bewildered in the room, not knowing what she said wrong. Why did Mommy go back to the bathroom right after taking a shower?

"Mommy, Daddy is waiting for you outside. He asked me to call you, Daddy also said..."

"He is not your Daddy!"

The bathroom door suddenly opened from the inside, Ye Mingmei’s face covered with water beads, indistinguishable from tears, red eyes staring at Meimei.

Seeing Meimei’s startled little face, she abruptly stepped out, grabbed her small shoulders.

"Did you hear that? He is not your Daddy. You can’t call him Daddy anymore, he is not!" Ye Mingmei shouted hoarsely, and the tears she was holding back burst forth. She hugged Meimei tightly, feeling guilty for scaring her.

"I’m sorry, it’s Mommy’s fault. Mommy did something wrong. Mommy is sorry to your Daddy..."

"Mommy, don’t cry, Meimei will be good."

Meimei’s small mouth twitched, red-eyed, her large watery eyes blinked, and tears followed suit and fell.
