As soon as Bai Zheng walked into the room, he heard Ye Mingmei’s voice, realizing that the mother and daughter were still awake. Bai Zheng’s tall figure stood by the wardrobe, perfectly hidden by its size.

"Aunt, Meimei is asleep, you should go to bed early too. I’ll take Da Bai now." Tingye’s small, soft body stood by the bed, looking reluctantly at the peaceful sleeping face of Meimei on the bed, turning back every few steps to look at the bed.
