Chapter 1924: Chapter 1924: Let’s Take Some Time Apart to Cool Down
"Diwu Zexuan, you’re too confident. I’m not bound to you. As long as I’m unwilling, no one can force me."
Rui Hui waved her hand to shake him off and stepped back a few steps, pressing against the door, looking at him coldly.
"I don’t understand your world, but when it comes to my matters, you’ll never get to decide for me."
"Just over a small matter, you’re going to separate from me?" Diwu Zexuan frowned, his handsome face flickering with a terrifying glow.
The silver eyes gleamed enticingly in the dim light, as if, with one word from Rui Hui, a demon would leap out in the next second.
"My child is not a small matter!"
Rui Hui shouted angrily.
She glared at him fiercely, her eyes filled with pain and endless disappointment, then turned and left the guest room.
"Rui Hui!"
Diwu Zexuan panicked inside and reached out to grab her, but Rui Hui sidestepped, evading his hand, and rushed out of the room in an instant.
Diwu Zexuan chased after her, only to see Qin Youxuan, who had gone upstairs just a moment ago, now unknowingly back downstairs in the living room, blocking the emotionally charged Rui Hui.
Upon seeing Diwu Zexuan, Rui Hui’s eyes reddened, and she pushed Qin Youxuan aside, wanting to leave.
"Whatever it is, speak slowly. Let’s all take some time apart to calm down first." Qin Youxuan gave Diwu Zexuan a signaling glance, telling him to stay put for now.
"Do you want to come upstairs with me to see the little one? Tingye can now call me Auntie."
Qin Youxuan blinked her cat-like eyes, looking fixedly at Rui Hui.
Rui Hui bit her lip, holding back tears.
After hesitating for a while, she nodded.
She let Qin Youxuan lead her upstairs.
As soon as they entered the nursery, Qin Youxuan closed the door.
She turned back, looking at the obviously upset Rui Hui.
"Kids grow up so fast. In a blink of an eye, Tingye’s already this big. Soon he’ll be quite the little charmer." Rui Hui walked forward, sitting by the bed, looking at the little one lying on the small bed.
"You have no idea, he’s quite a handful now. Dan Hanjie gets so mad sometimes, he wants to smack him."
When talking about her son, Qin Youxuan’s smile softened.
She stepped forward, sitting next to Rui Hui, following her gaze towards the sweetly sleeping little one.
"When he’s awake, he’s mischievous like a little devil, but asleep, he’s like a little angel." Qin Youxuan pinched the little one’s delicate cheeks, "Tingye, Auntie Rui Hui is here to see you."
The little one smacked his lips, turned over, and continued snoozing.
"Little lazy cat."
Qin Youxuan watched her son, who resembled Dan Hanjie so closely, her eyes filled with a haze of happiness.
She looked at Rui Hui and realized she’d started crying.
Big tears dropped like broken strings of pearls.
"Rui Hui..." Qin Youxuan opened her mouth slightly, somewhat puzzled.
"I’m fine." Rui Hui realized her loss of composure, quickly reached to wipe away her tears, and forced a smile at Qin Youxuan.
"What’s going on between you and Diwu Zexuan?" Qin Youxuan hesitated for a long time but eventually asked, "Last time you came, everything seemed fine, but suddenly I heard you went back to Germany, and Diwu Zexuan has been acting strangely."
"I went home because I didn’t want to see him; his weirdness is due to a guilty conscience." Rui Hui spoke bitterly.
Her tone was laden with obvious resentment.
