The two of them walked side by side into the hospital.
"Sorry, Mr. Dan Yi is currently under investigation, and his condition is quite unstable, so visits are not possible at the moment. Please come back another day." As soon as they arrived at the registration desk, Dan Hanjie and Qin Youxuan were stopped.
"We are his family. Can we not visit him either?" Qin Youxuan paused with the pen in her hand, raising her head in shock.
"Yes, because of the patient’s physical condition and his special status, we need to conduct a comprehensive examination. To avoid further agitation to his mental state, visits are currently not allowed."
The nurse at the front desk explained politely.
And handed a court summons to Qin Youxuan.
"This is the certificate. I’m sorry, but I must ask you both to leave first."
"Alright then." Qin Youxuan glanced at the certificate, her catlike eyes flickering slightly as she quickly wrote down her phone number on a piece of paper, tore it off, and handed it to the nurse.
"This is my number. Mr. Dan Yi is my uncle. If there’s any change in his condition, please notify us as soon as possible. We are very concerned about him."
"Okay." The nurse smiled as she took the paper, watching them leave.
"They won’t even let us have a look, making it seem so serious. Do you think Dan Yi might really have been driven insane by the stimulus?" Qin Youxuan kicked a pebble on the ground, unwillingly glancing back at the inpatient department.
They were already at the entrance, and even family members weren’t allowed inside, leaving Dan Yi solely in the care of medical staff.
Is Dan Yi acting too convincingly, or has everyone here been bribed, collectively protecting him?
"If he can’t withstand such a small blow, he’s unworthy of having fought Dan Rong for half his life." Dan Hanjie took Qin Youxuan’s hand, leading her forward.
Not caring at all about whether he saw Dan Yi.
His handsome face remained as indifferent and cold as ever, making people afraid to approach.

Just as they walked out of the hospital, they found reporters were following them.

"Let them take pictures. It’s fine with me. It’s better this way—let everyone see how filial we are as the younger generation to rush to the hospital to visit as soon as Dan Yi has issues. Don’t you agree?"
Qin Youxuan held onto Dan Hanjie’s arm, playfully blinking her catlike eyes.
"Naughty." Dan Hanjie pinched her small nose, but he understood what Qin Youxuan meant.
He released her shoulder, casually holding her little hand, and walked toward the parked car on the roadside.
Before they even reached the car door, reporters immediately surrounded them.
Raising their microphones, they pressed forward with questions.
"Mr. Jie, are you and your wife here to visit Mr. Dan Yi? Regarding the issues with this collaboration project and the allegations of commercial violations involving Mr. Dan Yi, what’s your personal opinion? Can you say a few words?"
