Chapter 135: Dilemma of Gu Clan and the Bai Clan
While Gu Fan was currently busy spending "quality" time with his dear sister Su Mei, burying his thick cock deep inside of her dripping wet pussy, as she violently squirted her sweet love juices all over his thighs while eagerly rewarding him for his stupendous show at the tournament, the major powerhouses of Poison Valley Town were entirely thrown into an absolute turmoil.
Right now inside the heavily guarded Audience Hall of the Gu Clan, Patriarch Gu Yangtian sat on his carved ironwood throne with a deeply solemn and grim expression while almost every other elder in the massive room was happily drinking premium spirit wine and loudly rejoicing.
They were aggressively praising the Gu Clan’s victory and toasting to Gu Fan’s shockingly brutal performance in the arena, but while they praised Gu Fan’s performance, at the same time they were also incredibly sceptical and highly harsh as they openly mocked Gu Chen’s pathetic, humiliating defeat.
Gu Clan’s genius, my shit!
No one even wanted to mention the names of Gu Fan and Gu Chen in the same breath together. Just the thought of Gu Chen’s arrogant face in the dust made them want to beat him all over again.
While the clan elders celebrated the small and insignificant achievement, sitting directly above them in the seat of honour was Elder Gu Yun, the terrifying, pale-faced Nascent Soul expert from the infamous Purple Mist Valley sect who had been present at the tournament.
As he watched the dimwitted elders of his clan smash wine glasses together, Elder Gu Yun angrily slammed his jade teacup against the wooden table with a loud, echoing crack that instantly silenced the chaotic room.
"Enough of this pointless, idiotic cheering," Elder Gu Yun stated coldly, glaring down at the sweating Patriarch as he completely commanded the room with absolute authority, "What have you guys actually achieved this time in the competition? I feel like my face has been rubbed through the dirt in front of everyone. Now I have no face to show anyone in my sect!"
"Before we discuss anything else regarding the tournament rewards, we need to talk about that useless thing Gu Chen first and his absolutely disappointing, completely pathetic performance today. And don’t even get me started on that girl Gu Ling. Shameless bunch."
"Elder Gu Yun, please understand that Gu Chen is still the adopted genius and the absolute pride of our main family, and since he had just forcefully broken through to the 1st Stage of the Origin Realm, his internal foundation was entirely unstable during the fight!" Gu Yangtian pleaded defensively, tightly gripping his armrests as he desperately tried to salvage the Golden Boy’s ruined reputation.
"He completely humiliated our entire clan and spat on the faces of our ancestors in front of the whole town!" the Third Elder shouted angrily, aggressively pointing his cane at the Patriarch.
"He is still young and highly talented, so we must give him the proper resources and time to stabilize his Origin Realm core!" another elder quickly yelled back to blindly support the Patriarch, instantly sparking a bitter, highly aggressive shouting match across the hall as the elders furiously took sides, violently cursing at each other until the sect elder aggressively raised his hand to forcefully stop them.
"We have invested a massive amount of high-tier sect resources and premium spiritual pills into Gu Chen’s cultivation over the years, but the results he displayed today have been entirely unsatisfactory and completely embarrassing. How much more do you want us to invest?" Elder Gu Yun said completely dismissing the Golden Boy as a failed, worthless investment before he turned his sharp, calculating eyes back to the Patriarch, "Now tell me everything you know about this bastard son of yours, Gu Fan."
Gu Yangtian completely froze in his throne, his face turning pale and his throat going dry because he actually had absolutely no answers to give about his own illegitimate son since he had intentionally ignored the crippled boy for his entire life.
Elder Gu Yun heavily frowned at the Patriarch’s pathetic silence and aggressively demanded answers from the surrounding clan elders, but they all nervously looked down at the floor and avoided eye contact since none of them knew how a widely known, bedridden cripple suddenly possessed such monstrous, heaven-defying physical strength.
"He is nothing but a crippled bastard born to a lowly servant woman, Elder," one of the observant inner-court elders finally spoke up while bowing nervously, his voice trembling slightly under the Nascent Soul pressure.
"He was born with his meridians permanently blocked, so we simply left him on his own... But...."
"But what?" Gu Yun narrowed his eyes as he looked at the elder for answers.
"It is just that Madam Li has suddenly been paying a massive amount of personal attention to him lately."
"She literally relocated him into the lavish Golden Lotus Pavilion and assigned her own elite guards to protect his courtyard," the elder continued hesitantly, wiping sweat from his forehead. "She even publicly slapped Gu Chen to defend him, which makes absolutely no sense for her character."
Elder Gu Yun narrowed his pale, terrifying eyes and fell into deep thought, slowly nodding his head as a highly suspicious, incredibly calculating glint flashed in his ancient gaze.
"I never liked that woman, Li Hua, because she is far too cunning and highly manipulative," Elder Gu Yun whispered coldly to the silent hall, his eyes flashing with lethal intent. "That woman is definitely up to something highly dangerous, so we better be incredibly careful moving forward."
Elder Gu Yun had already heard from the clan elders about her taking over the family control and now her suspicious protection of the bastard son simply did not add up.
"You will assign someone to keep an eye on Gu Fan," Elder Gu Yun ordered, glaring at the sweating Patriarch.
"Don’t be a pussy and let your woman run the clan."

Meanwhile, an incredibly similar event was taking place within the fortified Bai Clan estate, but instead of mindless celebration, the atmosphere in their council hall was completely suffocating with absolute, grinding despair.
"We are completely ruined!" one elder screamed across the long stone table, furiously slamming his fist against the rock.
"And don’t forget that Bai Bing broke through to the Origin Realm... This is worth celebrating."
"What’s the use? She refuses to even speak to us, will she help out the clan in case we need her? I doubt it."
"Don’t forget, the Gu Clan’s shops are bleeding our treasury dry!" another elder yelled back, shifting the blame on Patriarch Bai Haoran who sat slumped in his luxurious chair, drowning in his own misery.
Sitting at the head of the long stone table was Elder Bai He, the second pale-faced sect elder from the Purple Mist Valley, who was currently glaring at the defeated, bickering clan leadership with sheer, unadulterated disgust.
"Can the esteemed sect somehow provide us with emergency resources to survive this massive crisis?" Bai Haoran desperately begged the sect elder for a lifeline because his supply chains were entirely dead and his disciples were threatening to desert.
"I will go back to the Purple Mist Valley and look for some alternative methods to assist you, but you have thoroughly disappointed me today, Bai Haoran... I don’t even want to look at your face today." Elder Bai He scoffed, disgusted by their weakness.
"Except for Bai Bing, I see not a single disciple in this younger generation worthy of the long and proud history of the Bai Clan."
"And who is that bastard Gu Fan?" Bai He asked annoyed, his eyes darting across the room, "How useless are our juniors that they could even beat him after ganging up together?"
"He is just a useless, crippled bastard who got incredibly lucky!" Bai Haoran sneered with intense hatred, completely looking down on Gu Fan as he desperately tried to feed the sect elder the old, pathetic rumors of the boy’s blocked meridians to save face.
"Are you completely brainless, Bai Haoran?!" However Elder Bai He roared furiously, slapping the stone table and releasing a devastating burst of Nascent Soul Qi that made the Patriarch flinch in fear.
"Can a normal cripple effortlessly melt weapons with his bare hands? Beat the shit out of your son?"
"Open your blind eyes, you fucking idiot. There is clearly something else entirely going on behind the scenes, and your blatant ignorance is going to get your entire family slaughtered!"
"Elder...." Bai Haoran had no excuse or try and defend his flawed logic.
But just then Elder Bai Feng nervously stepped forward from the back of the room.
"Esteemed Elder... there is actually something highly suspicious about the recent Hunting Competition as well," Elder Bai Feng started to say, his voice shaking with fear.
"Feng..."!" Bai Haoran glared at the elder, silently ordering him to shut his mouth.
"Keep talking, Elder, and do not hold a single detail back," On the other hand, Elder Bai He commanded authoritatively shutting Bai Haoran down with a lethal glare that forced the Patriarch to swallow hard and sit back down in heavy silence.
"During the competition, that bastard son of Gu Yangtian miraculously produced over thousands of points worth of high-tier beast cores completely out of nowhere," Elder Bai Feng stammered fearfully, quickly narrating the exact, horrifying events of the competition to the sect elder, "He single-handedly outscored Bai Bing, which was the reason of bai Clan’s loss and made our clan to lose the Spirit Mines."
"Because of which the source of our Spirit stones has dropped by nearly seventy percent."
After hearing the full elder’s narration of events, Elder Bai He’s pale face turned incredibly serious as he rubbed his chin in deep, calculated thought, completely realizing that this was not the work of a simple junior.
"You ignorant pigs, do you honestly believe a crippled junior pulled off a massive heist and a physical massacre entirely on his own?!" Elder Bai He snarled with raw, suffocating killing intent, violently slamming his fist onto the table to completely crack the solid stone in half.
"There is a massive, terrifyingly powerful entity secretly backing the Gu Clan from the shadows, and they are clearly using this Gu Fan as their primary vessel to swallow this entire valley whole!"
Elder Bai He stood up, his terrifying aura violently whipping his grey robes around his body as his eyes burned with sheer, unadulterated malice.
"If we don’t sever the head of this snake and torture that bastard until he spills his master’s secrets, they will slaughter us all in our sleep," Elder Bai He ordered ruthlessly, looking directly at Bai Haoran with an incredibly dark, bloodthirsty sneer.
"Bai Haoran! We need to take care of that boy as soon as possible."
