Chapter 126: Come on man, You are really not my type

"Why focus on such a disappointment when there is clearly a more promising and manly man in the Gu Clan?"

Bai Bing said as a playful smirk played on her lips, and her words in fact made Gu Fan feel a hot blush spread across his cheeks. He was completely caught off guard because his supposedly cold, subservient Ice Fairy was openly, shamelessly teasing him in front of the entire town!

On the other hand, the masked cultivator didn’t miss a beat, as he launched himself straight up and wrapping his fist in pitch-black Qi, he delivered the final punch directly into Gu Chen’s chest that put the final nail in his ’coffin’.

The brutal impact sounded like a massive boulder cracking, and Gu Chen was blasted completely off Stage Three no one saving him this time, as he flew like a missile through the air at an incredibly terrifying speed directly toward the Gu Clan pavilion.

"Watch out!" several Gu Clan disciples screamed in panic, scrambling out of Gu Chen’s way and diving out of the way. Meanwhile the elders were just too shocked to move and leap forward to save their prodigy.

While the elders and disciples frantically scattered in terror, Gu Fan simply stood lazily at the very back of the pavilion with his hands as he watched his ’dear brother’ hurtling directly toward his face.

’Even you?’ Gu Fan shook his head as he straightened up.

Instead of dodging, Gu Fan smoothly reached out with his right hand and intercepted Gu Chen’s flying body as he grabbed Gu Chen bu the collar the moment Gu Chen was past him.

And despite the massive force behind the masked man’s punch, Gu Fan effortlessly held onto Gu Chen without even flinching.

Gu Fan looked down at Gu Chen’s bloody and completely unrecognizable face, Gu Fan shook his head.

"I told you to take revenge for me, big brother," Gu Fan mocked Gu Chen, "And you came back like a pathetic piece of minced meat."

"And everyone calls me useless... How useless," Gu Fan casually tossed Gu Chen’s limp body to the side like a sack of rotten garbage, "And smelly."

Up on Stage Three, the masked cultivator had just landed back on his feet, and his dark eyes immediately darted toward the Gu Clan pavilion to watch the aftermath of his punch.

When he saw the supposedly crippled Seventh Young Master effortlessly catch a body thrown with Origin Realm force using only a single hand, a very deep, genuine flash of interest completely pierced through the masked man’s dark aura.

He stared at Gu Fan for a good long, silent moment. It seems that the crippled trash wasn’t actually what the rumours had suggested.

After burning that image into his memory, the masked guy casually rolled his shoulders and turned toward the edge of the platform.

"I have seen enough for today," the masked man declared bluntly, completely ignoring the massive opportunity offered by the guilds and the sects, as he casually dropped off the stage and instantly eliminating himself from the tournament.

With the masked monster gone and Gu Chen completely destroyed, Song Tianyu and Bai Bing were the only two combatants left standing on the ruined blood-stone tiles of Stage Three.

Song Tianyu wiped a trail of blood from his broken nose and looked over at the beautiful Ice Fairy, flashing her a gentle, highly polite smile as he snapped his silver fan shut.

"I suppose it is only proper manners that we have our winner," Song Tianyu chuckled softly, offering her a respectful bow before he turned around and gracefully jumped off the stage as well, completely conceding the match. He had absolutely no desire to fight a meaningless battle now.

Bai Bing stood entirely alone in the center of the massive, elevated platform, her crystal sword resting by her side as the old man stared at the empty stage in absolute disbelief at the series of events in front of him.

Finally after a good few breathes of time had passed, the old man eventually raised his hand to formally declare the Bai Clan’s Ice Fairy the undisputed winner of the Origin Realm bracket.

Meanwhile, at the same time on the second stage, Gu Ling herself was locked in a desperate, highly intense battle.

She gracefully dodged a heavy axe swing from a rugged rogue cultivator, aggressively channeling her pure Frost Veins to unleash a massive wave of freezing Qi that instantly encased the man’s legs in solid ice, completely freezing him in his tracks before she swiftly kicked him in the chest, sending her second opponent tumbling out of the ring.

This was already the second guy she had defeated after taking on the stage.

Panting slightly as she wiped sweat from her pale brow, Gu Ling briefly lowered her guard, and she instinctively turned her head toward Stage Three to check on her beloved cousin since she fully expected Gu Chen to be dominating his opponents with his pristine, righteous swordsmanship.

But the absolute second she turned her head, her beautiful eyes widened in sheer, unadulterated horror.

She saw Gu Chen; her invincible big brother, the undisputed genius of Poison Valley Town, and the man she had worshipped her entire life getting thrown off the stage like a pathetic, worthless dog, bleeding from his mouth as he crashed into the Gu Clan pavilion.

Gu Ling entirely froze on her spot, and her mind completely blanked out as it felt like her whole world had just been shattered into a million sharp pieces.

Her beloved hero had been brutally defeated in the blink of an eye, and the perfect, untouchable pedestal she had placed him on completely crumbled into dust.

She stood there completely paralyzed by the unimaginable scene, her Dao heart violently trembling as her Frost Qi wildly fluctuated around her body.

And because she was entirely distracted by her cousin’s humiliating fall, she completely forgot she was still standing in the middle of an active battle royale.

"Don’t get distracted during a fight, sweetheart!" a sneaky Song Clan disciple yelled as she dashed right up behind Gu Ling taking advantage of her distracy state.

Before Gu Ling could even snap out of her shock or raise her icy hands to defend herself, the Song Clan disciple violently kicked her squarely in the middle of her back, sending the Ice Genius tumbling helplessly forward until she crashed painfully off the edge of Stage Two and landed face-first in the dirt.

The crowd erupted into chaos... What in the hell was happening? In the span of a few breaths, both of the highly praised Gu Clan geniuses had already lost miserably.

This was absolutely embarrassing.

But while the Gu Clan geniuses were busy dragging Gu Clan’s name through the mud, Gu Fan’s eyes were busy meticulously following the dark figure of the Masked Cultivator as the man smoothly navigated through the massive crowd of rogue cultivators and very soon completely disappeared into the bustling sea of people.

A highly satisfied, knowing smirk formed on Gu Fan’s handsome face as he looked very amused.

’Oh, so you appeared a lot sooner than I expected,’ Gu Fan thought to himself, completely thrilled that the plot was accelerating because he loved a good, bloody challenge.

He was just about to turn around and enjoy the panicked, screaming chaos currently engulfing Patriarch Gu Yangtian over Gu Chen’s pathetic defeat, when a loud, incredibly irritating voice echoed aggressively from the center of Stage Two.

"Gu Fan! You crippled coward!" Bai Yun roared furiously, aggressively spinning his silver spear and pointing the sharp tip directly at Gu Fan’s chest while the crowd slowly quieted down to watch the drama unfold. "Your brother is a weak, pathetic failure, and now it is your turn to bleed! Get your ass up here right now and face me!"

Gu Fan just let out a heavy, deeply irritated sigh as he rubbed his temples, completely annoyed that this arrogant cannon fodder simply refused to take a hint and back down.

He casually looked up at Bai Yun standing on the elevated platform, his green eyes flashing with a highly dangerous, malicious glint as he smirked darkly.

"Come on man," Gu Fan chuckled, shaking his head slowly as he cracked his knuckles.

"You are really not my type."
