Early in the morning, just as Raidan woke up from his short sleep, he received the notifications of Fiona completing her quest.
Alongside receiving his Multiplier rewards, he also received the knowledge on how to destroy the Forbidden Summoning Scroll.
He would need a special alchemical potion made from Holy Fire, something he did not have access to.
"I will destroy it when I find the chance."
After all, he was hearing the term Holy Fire for the very first time. He absolutely knew nothing about it.
He set the matter aside for now.
Next, after informing Naida, he headed to the Central District.
He hailed a horse-drawn carriage near the edge of the market district. After all, the Central District was located dozens of miles away from their quiet, humble neighborhood.
Although...with his newly enhanced stats, particularly his monstrous attack and defense attributes, he could have easily sprinted the entire distance in a fraction of the time. However, running at superhuman speeds through crowded streets would instantly make him the center of unwanted attention.
He preferred to keep his true capabilities hidden from the general public for now.
The thirty-minute carriage ride gave him ample time to process his recent gains. He sat quietly in the back of the rattling wooden cabin, watching the scenery pass by through the small window.
The 50 times multiplier from Fiona’s quest had granted him a massive reserve of experience points.

He was rapidly becoming a walking calamity.
The carriage finally rolled to a smooth halt.
Raidan paid the driver a few bronze coins and stepped out.
From outer city to the Central District was like stepping into an entirely different world.
The ground here was completely devoid of the muddy alleys and shabby wooden houses.
Standing on the pristine white cobblestone streets, he watched towering dark Iron and Silver buildings around him.
The air alsk smelled of expensive perfumes, blooming exotic flowers, and faint traces of purified mana.
Silk hung from golden lampposts, fluttering gently in the clean breeze.
In the far distance, towering majestically over the wealthy cityscape, stood the breathtaking golden dome of the Sun God’s Shrines.
Other Shrines were also equally majestic..
They were made from a different elemental stone, radiating an immense, divine pressure that could be felt even from miles away.
The Shrine of Light glowed like a captured star, illuminating the surrounding plazas.
The Shrine of War stood as a imposing fortress of black iron, while the Shrine of Nature was overgrown with massive, vibrant emerald vines. Devout pilgrims, noble knights, and high-ranking clerics walked the streets in pristine white and gold robes.
Wealth, power, and divine authority were the absolute rulers of this district.
Raidan did not care about the gods or their glorious shrines anymore. His strict focus was on the bustling commercial sector running along the main road.
This was the most lucrative and highly guarded real estate in the entire city. If Naida was going to have her apothecary shop here, it needed to be in a prime, location.
He walked along the wide avenue, observing the high-end boutiques, enchanted weapon smiths, and elite alchemical stores. He decided it was time to gather some concrete information.
With that plan in mind, he stepped into a brightly lit tailor shop that displayed garments made from shimmering silk and rare beast pelts.
"Welcome, traveler. How may I assist you today?" the shopkeeper asked.
The man wore a polished monocle and a perfectly tailored suit. He looked at Raidan’s simple worn out cloak with a hint of polite skepticism.
"Sorrry. I am not here to buy clothes. I am looking for information regarding the properties on this main road. What is the current market value for an empty shop?"
The tailor adjusted his monocle, and let out a condescending chuckle.
"Aiya. An empty shop on the main avenue? My good sir, properties here are rarely ever empty. And when they do sell, they are exchanged for literal mountains of gold. A small storefront would easily cost you around 10,000 gold coins. And that is just the starting bid."
Raidan nodded silently and left the shop.
Ten thousand gold coins was an astronomical sum. A normal family could live comfortably for several lifetimes on that exact amount.
But Raidan was not discouraged in the slightest. He needed more data.
He walked further down the pristine street and entered a luxury jewelry store. The glass display cases were filled with enchanted rings and glowing amulets. The elderly dwarf running the counter looked up from his polishing cloth.
"Tell me, master dwarf. If someone wanted to purchase a mid-sized commercial building right on this street, what price would they be looking at?"
The dwarf grunted, eyeing Raidan up and down.
"You have big dreams, human. The deeds for these buildings are tightly controlled by the noble houses. A mid-sized property, assuming a noble is even willing to part with it, will run you no less than 25,000 gold coins. Plus the heavy monthly taxes paid to the city guard for premium protection."
Raidan visited three more establishments, including a high-end magical scribe and a luxury inn.
The answers were all consistently the same.
A small property was 10 thousand. But a suitable, high-quality building for a master apothecary would cost anywhere from 20,000 to 35,000 gold coins.
Raidan stood on the corner of the busy main road, watching the wealthy merchants passing by in their lavish carriages.
He currently possessed a decent amount of silver and gold from his hunting and system rewards, but it was nowhere near 30,000 gold coins.
However, he wasn’t discouraged at the slightest.
He had the absolute advantage of the SSS-Rank Multiplier System and a growing network of highly capable quest seekers.
He would gather that amount eventually. He just needed to wait.
Or maybe not.
