The boy kept a safe distance, fully aware that these high-level beasts could snuff out his life with a mere snort.
Despite the danger, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe as he watched these powerful beings, knowing that he was witnessing a rare and remarkable sight. He could only recall one person who had attained the golden stage, and that was Emperor Dylan.
Continuing to follow the procession of extraordinary creatures, Rio noticed that the refreshing sensation he had experienced earlier only grew stronger. It felt as though his mind was being soothed by some mysterious effect, and he couldn't help but wonder if this was the reason for the parade of beasts.
As Rio followed the procession of beasts deeper into the valley, his gaze was drawn to a seemingly inconspicuous plant in the distance. The plant, no taller than his waist, bore a small fruit about the size of a thumb.
"Found it..." Rio exclaimed in a hushed tone, barely containing his excitement.
He had sensed that the fruit was the source of the soothing aura that had enveloped him, and now he had finally located it.
As Rio drew closer to the fruit, it became increasingly clear that he was not the only one who had noticed its presence. His gaze swept the area cautiously, keeping a watchful eye on the other creatures that had gathered nearby.
A diverse group of creatures had already gathered around the mysterious plant, including some of the same types of beasts Rio had encountered and slaughtered earlier.
Among them, the Giant Crowned Flyer that he had previously come across was seated with others, who seemed to be afraid of the other creatures around it. The gathered creatures maintained a respectful distance from the plant, their eyes fixed on the enigmatic fruit as if aware of its significance.
Upon the arrival of the golden squirrel, silver lion, and golden frog, the other creatures' expressions shifted to disappointment, as if their hopes had been dashed. Reluctantly, they retreated from the plant, creating a clear buffer zone around the more powerful beings.
Their actions demonstrated both fear and respect for these formidable creatures, showcasing the hierarchy that governed their ranks.
Rio carefully watched what was happening and knew he had to be careful and thoughtful when dealing with the situation.
As the various creatures settled down, each eyeing the fruit warily, their numbers continued to swell. Rio waited patiently among the beasts, his heart pounding with anxiety but confident in his escape routes should the need arise.
With over a thousand creatures now assembled, tensions were high, but no one dared to initiate a fight, fearing it might harm the developing fruit.
Up front, a golden squirrel and a frog engaged in a fierce staring contest, foreshadowing the epic battle for dominance over the precious fruit.
Gradually, the fruit began to emit a soft glow, its surface vibrating subtly. Then, with a nearly imperceptible snap, it detached from the plant and started to fall.
The golden frog sprang into action, leaping forward on its two powerful hind legs, its eyes fixed on the ripe reward. But just as it was about to snatch the fruit, the squirrel darted out of nowhere, snatching it away in the blink of an eye.
*Shriek!!!*
With a thunderous roar, fury erupted within the golden frog, and it unleashed a powerful punch aimed straight at the squirrel.
*Baam!!!*
The forceful punch delivered by the frog to the squirrel generated a thunderous shockwave, causing the squirrel to momentarily back away. The fruit slipped from its grasp, soaring through the air.
Despite the chaos and violence, a protective layer surrounded the fruit, keeping it unscathed amidst the turmoil.
Meanwhile, Rio and the other creatures were thrown backward, with the weaker black-stage beasts succumbing to the mighty power of the shockwave and perishing on the spot.
The battleground teemed with chaotic energy as creatures of all shapes and sizes started to clash in a frenzied melee.
*Baam!!!* *Baam!!!* *Baam!!!*
The squirrel and frog, in the midst of their ferocious duel, darted and leaped through the fray, each trying to land a decisive blow on the other. The absurdity of the situation was not lost on Rio, who couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of a golden squirrel and frog locked in combat.
Caught in the whirlwind of the fight, Rio needed to find a way to fit in, so he chose the Giant Crowned Flyer as his adversary.
He nimbly dodged its relentless attacks while striking back with his silver bloom king sword. As they fought, both Rio and the giant flyer found themselves beset by attacks from other creatures caught up in the frenetic battle.
While Rio managed to evade most of the incoming blows, the Giant Crowned Flyer, burdened by its immense size, bore the brunt of the damage.
The sheer presence and destructive power of the giant beast caught the attention of the enraged golden frog, the king figure in the team Rio was inadvertently supporting.
With a fierce glint in its eyes, the frog hurled a powerful projectile at the Giant Crowned Flyer. The flyer's eyes widened in shock, but it was too late to evade the attack. Struck by the force of the frog's wrath, the flyer crumpled to the ground, lifeless.
*Thud!!*
As the giant crowned flyer collapsed lifelessly to the ground, it dropped a mystic egg, catching Rio's attention.
Almost simultaneously, a notification appeared before him, revealing that he had been credited for the kill and had gained the beast soul of the giant crowned flyer, even though he hadn't dealt the final blow.
