Hearing Qing’s words, Gu Chaoyan felt her heart sinking.
Qing might be her maid, but she treated her as her sister. Qing never estranged herself from her, but now, Qing seemed to have estranged herself from her, for some reason.
Gu Chaoyan thought that maybe she was busy with too many affairs and suddenly became like this.
Gu Chaoyan turned to Xiu Jie and then to Qing, saying, “You must be very tired to have walked for so long, Qing, go back and take a rest.”
