Of course, the university should step in to clear the air surrounding the rumors about her, but because it has not left the university walls, they were not yet bothered.
"If any more damages are done, I will sue the 3 of you first. You will be battling with a court case for a long time instead of graduating and starting life." Zhang Liling threatened again.
Tungmei was staring at the 3 students before them. She was patiently waiting for them to say 'yes' because she could tell that they have been convinced.
"Fine! We will let you do what you want only if you guarantee that nothing will change about us in this school." The second guy said with a calm gaze fixed on Zhang Liling.
They still wanted to have their jobs.
"You can't do that! Why can't she go use the same forum that spread the rumors about her instead of coming here?" The lady said furiously.
Zhang Liling shifted her smiling gaze to her and stepped forward. Tungmei thought she was going to get into a fight and looked worried. But that wasn't the case.
"Were you the one that spread those rumors about me?" Zhang Liling asked in a low tone.
"Don't be ridiculous! Are you trying to accuse me now?" The lady said in an angry tone.
Zhang Liling leaned in to whisper to her, "If you want me to, I will." Then she leaned away.
The first guy thought that it was about time to settle her so she could leave them to continue with their job.
"Zhang Liling, you can go ahead and use the mics. What do you want to announce and to who should the message be addressed?"
Tungmei sighed in relief.
Zhang Liling smiled at him. "I'm going to fish out and sue anyone that takes my pictures without my permission. The same goes for those that spread rumors about me. I may not be able to catch all of them, but the few I get in my hands will pay the crimes for others as well."
"You are going to threaten the students!" The lady said with glares.
"If you see it that way, then I can't help you to think properly because it's your brain." Shifting her gaze to the guys, she continued, "Anyway, that is my warning."
The guys didn't show any worry, unlike the lady. Even if they had, they will only have to bury their worries.
"Since this message will be focused on the students in our faculty, we will only turn on the mics in the lecture building. We can't go above that."
"That's fine by me. Where should I sit, which mic should I use?' Zhang Liling asked.
She was not worried if she could be able to reach 80% of the students. She believed that her announcement would spread amongst them just like the rumors about her.
The second guy stood up and gestured for her to take his seat, while the other guy, touched a few things to set up the speakers.
The lady was naturally unhappy since her other teammates agreed to help Zhang Liling. She was left with no choice but to either join them or stay quiet.
She chose the second option. Like hell, she would help out after acting out.
Tungmei smiled from the side and just stood there watching everything go in her friend's favor.
When everything was set, the first guy signaled Zhang Liling to start speaking just after turning on her mic.
Zhang Liling smiled and adjusted the headphone on her ears before speaking. Her tone sounded sweet, but her news told a different story.
"Hello, students! This is Zhang Liling, the one from the Zhang family whom you have been gossiping about."
"What! Zhang Liling is on air?
"What is she going to say?
"Who gave her the permission?
"She is really bold!"
There were so many different reactions from the students after she introduced herself, as they never expected she would do something like that.
"I am only going to take up less than a minute of your break time to pass this warning to every student," Zhang Liling said and paused.
She gave them 3 seconds to speculate before continuing, "Don't take pictures of me without my consent. Don't spread false information about me, because I will be suing anyone who does not listen from now onwards."
Again, there were different reactions from the students. Some felt that she was taking things too far.
Shu Rushi who just stepped into the lecture hall with her 2 friends heard that and scoffed.
Zhang Mingyu stepped outside the building for his department and was heading for his class building when he heard her voice and stopped to listen.
It's not like Zhang Liling cared about their thoughts.
"May I have a great day!" She said cheerfully before signaling for the mic and the speakers to be turned off.
What a ridiculous way to end the announcement… The students thought.
She was supposed to wish them to have a great day, but she just wished herself that and turned off the connection.
Who does that?
Tungmei knew her style and gave her a thumbs-up when she turned around.
"Let's go!" She said to her as she stood to her feet and approached her side.
When they got to the door, Zhang Liling turned around to say to the trio who had a look of astonishment on their faces.
"Thank you for today. If any problem rises from today, you know where to find me."
Next, she took Tungmei's hand and left with her.
"She is crazy…" The lady said with a ridiculous expression on her face while gazing at the door.
The first guy said with his gaze at the door, "You are right, she is something else."
The second guy just stared speechless at the entrance.
Shu Rushi and her friends scoffed before going to find seats. "She must think that is really something."
"I bet she thinks that she rules over us!" One of Shu Rushi's friends said.
