"Sir, she is alive and well," Butler Gu reported.
Mr. Fang exhaled and walked away. He thought he was already calm around Zhang Liling, but who knew that he was still afraid of what kind of trouble she might cause next.
Zhang Liling, without knowing that someone was worrying about her next actions, left Mr. Fang's villa after informing the butler about her movement.
"Butler Gu, I'm going out for some fresh air, I will be back in the evening. Please help me pass the message onto Mr. Fang if he asks for my whereabouts."
When Mr. Fang heard those exact same words form the butler, his nose wrinkled instinctively. 'Fresh air? More like the air is contaminated!'
Zhang Liling was going out to have a fresh air, and for once, Mr. Fang was a little jealous because of his nose sensitivity and tagged the 'fresh' air, 'contaminated'
"She went out? She had better not cause any trouble this time around!" I will definitely let her spend a night at the police station this time around!
Mr. Fang would let Zhang Liling suffer for a bit if she causes any trouble, to teach her a life lesson.
Butler Gu did not understand because he was unaware of the last trouble Zhang Liling caused. If he knew that she was once taken to the police station for fighting in public, he would have been apprehensive when he discovered she was going out.
The old man would have been more worried than Mr. Fang was.
Zhang Liling took a cab outside the estate to the address of her apartment. On her way, she already received calls from two different people.
The housekeeper she employed told her that she had finished cooking and cleaning. Tungmei said she slept in, but was already on her way.
"Did you get the beer I asked you to buy?" Zhang Liling asked the housekeeper.
"Yes, Miss, I put them in the refrigerator before I started cooking,"
Zhang Liling smiled brightly, "Good!"
On the other hand, from the details of the call with Tungmei, Zhang Liling discovered that she would get to her apartment before her and didn't have to worry about cooking up a lie she might end up forgetting another day.
A few minutes later, the cab pulled over in front of the apartment building. Zhang Liling paid her fare and stepped out.
She took a brief look at the tall building with a smile, 'How long has it been?' before adjusting the sunglasses on the bridge of her nose, and stepping further inside the building.
Zhang Liling only took off the sunglasses when she keyed in the password to her house and stepped inside and changed into a pair of flip-flop.
"Liling, what a nice place you've got!" Zhang Liling praised herself after having a brief look at her living room.
Going straight to her bedroom, Zhang Liling put away her bag away before going into the kitchen to check things out.
Food in the pot and drinks in the refrigerator. Everything on the list was ticked.
'I might as well play with my phone before Tungmei gets here.' This was what she thought, and had only turned around to go back to her bedroom when she heard her doorbell ring.
Immediately, a smile bloomed on her pretty face for she knew who was at her door.
"Comimg!" Her excited voice rang out as she quickly made her way to the door. Confirming from the camera that Tungmei was truly the one outside her door, she proceeded to open the door for her.
"Liling!" Tungmei called out excitedly when she saw her dearest friend, and immediately took a step forward before embracing her tightly.
Zhang Liling was almost strangled by her, and had to pat her on the back to let her go. "Are you trying to kill me?"
Tungmei squeezed her one last time before letting her go. Studying her face for only 2 seconds, she let out an alarm. "You already look half-dead, how could I try to kill you?"
Zhang Liling reached out to touch her face while asking, "Really?!"
"Tsk...tsk." Tungmei stared at her with pity. "Your face look a little horrible with the makeup. You have slimmed down, and it looks like your boobs lost weight as well. Now I have hope that my condition is better!"
Out of everything Tungmei said, Zhang Liling only picked up one sentence, and it was concerning her boobs.
With a look of concern, she asked while reaching for her chest to squeeze the two ample mounts, "Did my boobs really lose weight?"
"What do you think you are doing?!" Tungmei pushed her hands away from her boobs before dragging her inside instead.
Zhang Liling shut the door before being dragged into her living room.
Tungmei still wanted to scold her for touching her chest right outside the door, but forgot about it when she saw how clean and beautiful the living room was.
"Wow Liling! You have a nice place." Tungmei said as she quickly pulled off her shoes and kicked them to one side, before walking around the living room to take a good look at things on her bare feet.
Zhang Liling went to the shoe rack at the entrance to bring her a pair of flip-flop after putting away her shoes. "Secure you feet in them so you don't catch a cold."
"I wouldn't mind catching a cold and being bedridden in your place!" Tungmei said while admiring the simple interior decors.
Zhang Liling chuckled before asking, "Do you want anything to drink? I have water and beer!"
"It's too early to take beer now, water is okay. Do you have food to eat? I'm hungry." Tungmei remembered that she was hungry and complained.
"I don't think you are more hungry than me! Have a quick look around and come and help me out in the kitchen!"
"Do you really have food? Did you cook? I thought you didn't know how to cook?" Tungmei asked in surprise and sniffed the air before bypassing her to go into her kitchen.
"Of course I don't know how to cook. I asked someone to prepare meals for us to prevent us from starving this day. Don't you want to take a look around?" Zhang Liling asked as she followed her into the kitchen.
"At this point, food comes first."
