Zhang Liling was still studying by the time Mr. Fang came back home, and she waited till she was sure that he had gone upstairs before stepping out of her bedroom.

She looked bored standing in front of her door after letting out a yawn. She had been studying for 4 hours straight now, and she was already so tired and needed a refreshment for her brain.

Butler Gu came to find her in his butler uniform, and saw her standing in front of her door in a set of flower printed sleeveless gown. Her hair was up in a pony tail, while face looked tired.

Because he caught her yawning, he thought she was just waking up from sleep and got a bit jealous. 'She even had time to take a nap'

"Miss Zhang, have you been sleeping?" He asked with his hands behind his back.

Zhang Liling's brows furrowed in a slight frown and asked while pointing to herself, "Me? Sleeping? Butler Gu, can't you take a close look at me, do I look like someone that has been sleeping?"

Zhang Liling nearly got angry. She has been in her desk trying to solve some calculations and here he was, speculating that she has been napping.

Butler Gu noticed that she was not in a good mood, and couldn't help saying his mind even at that. "You really look like you have been sleeping."

"Mr. Butler, I have been studying boring numbers since I returned from school. The only reason I look this way is because I am tired and need a break!"

Since when did she get the privilege to take naps instead of studying or cleaning? It's not like she wanted to get scolded.

Butler Gu saw that displeasure on her face and decided to believe her. Then he went straight to the point for the reason he came to find her.

"Miss Zhang, Sir's personal assistant is looking for you. I think he has something for you."

"Something for me? What could that be? Did you get a sneak peek at it?" Zhang Liling's tired eyes instantly brightened up immediately she had that.

"I'm not sure of what it is, you will have to come find out by yourself." Butler Gu explained before turning to leave.

Zhang Liling quickly followed after him to the living room where Bolin was waiting. After directing her to him, the butler left their presence.

"Hello Mr. Bolin!" Zhang Liling greeted with a polite smile.

Bolin responded before putting forward a squared shaped box that was still sealed. "This is from the departmental store of yesterday."

"What is inside it?" Zhang Liling asked as she stretched firth her hand to take the box from it, while wondering if that was an apology gift from the shop attendants.

"The bag you fought so hard for." Bolin revealed and then continued while totally ignoring her helpless smile, "The bill has been settled by you and Miss Shu, and as the rightful owner of the bag, the store is giving the bag to you."

Zhang Liling was full of smiles as she thanked Bolin. There was no need asking question since he was the one that settled the case and came to bail her out.

Well he wouldn't have done that if Mr. Fang did not permit him, since the latter came to know about it, and personally came with him.

"There is no need to thank me. You can go back."

Zhang Liling thanked him again before walking away as quickly as possible. When she got to her bedroom, she placed the box on her desk and went on to tear the seal open.

Opening the box, she saw the bag wrapped in a soft material with some carton waste to protect it from a scratch.

Hurriedly, Zhang Liling took away the soft clothe material and unveiled the bag. The first thing she looked out for, was the hand. Seeing that it has been fixed, she smiled even more.

Zhang Liling spent a few minutes admiring the bag before carefully putting it away in her closet. She still liked the bag as well, regardless of the history with Shu Rushi.

Before dinner, Zhang Liling got a text from her father, which cane in form of a command that could not be refuted.

The text read, 'Come back home this weekend, there is an important matter you need to hear about!'

Zhang Liling could feel an upcoming headache as any time her father wanted to talk about something in the presence of everyone, the end result would always be something to be bitter about.

Asking her to come back home for a meeting, who was he going to displease this time around?

'Aish! I don't want to see those faces!' Zhang Liling said under her breath with annoyance written all over her face.

Appearing in front of those people was like reminding her stepmother that she was still doing fine outside.

After finding peace at Mr. Fang's place, she had almost forgotten the Jezebel waiting to get her hands on her.

Zhang Liling was so embittered that she phoned her mother to complain straight away.

Immediate Song Jujing saw her daughter's call in the middle of passing an instruction to someone, she waved her hand at the person, signalling his dismissal before going ahead to answer the call.

"Liling how are you, did something happen?" Song Jujing asked carefully.

"Mum, something happened!" Zhang Liling said immediately.

Thinking that something serious has happened to her, Song Jujing quickly rose from seat and asked apprehensively, "Liling tell me what exactly happened to you! Are you in any danger? I will call your father immediately!"

"Mum!" Zhang Liling half-screamed while panting angrily. "I am not in the kind of danger you are thinking of. Even if I was in any danger, why would you call that man that doesn't care about me?"

Zhang Liling didn't understand, was her father the only person in S city her mother could call to save her?

Song Jujing heard it was nothing serious and sat back down on her seat and released a sigh of relief. "What is the problem, why are you angry?"

"Why did you change my surname from Song to Zhang? I was better off while answering that name as I don't want to have any relationship with the Zhang family?" Zhang Liling complained.

Song Jujing released another sigh before responding, "You don't want to take the 'Zhang' surname, and I don't want to take the 'Song' name either! Anyway, why are you suddenly pissed off with that name, can't you exercise a little patience and wait till you get married to change it to a more suitable family name? Do you think that answering the 'Song' family name is better?"
