"Call the police!" One of the shop attendants whispered to the one next to her, before going to join the others to separate the two women from the fight.
A few minutes later, the police came to take Zhang Liling and Shu Rushi into custody, regarding the claims from the high-end store.
Destroying a property and engaging in physical assaults, resulting in a negative branding of the store.
Shu Rushi glared at the shop attendants who were lined up obediently as if they didn't have a hand with the police coming over.
"Why did you have to call the police? Did we refuse to pay for the bag or what?"
Zhang Liling tsked, "Who is 'we'? You came in here to fight over a bag with me, you should be the one responsible for all the damages."
"What do you mean?! If you also didn't drag the bag with me, this wouldn't have happened?!" Shu Rushi insisted while claiming rights.
Zhang Liling glared daggers at her.
Both of them really looked like what they have been through. They just finished engaging in a hot fight, so their current looks said it all, even though they put a lot of effort into adjusting their hair and clothes.
The police officers that were called over, watched the two ladies argue and shook their heads. They could see while they were involved in this matter, and one of the shop attendants confirmed it.
"Misses, this is the reason we called the police over because we know that you two wouldn't agree to settle. It's either we settle everything here amicably, or you go with the police to the station and settle things there!"
Zhang Liling and Shu Rushi stopped arguing and threw a furious glance at her. Shu Rushi stepped forward and pointed right straight at her chest and said, "You dare to call the police on your VVIP customer just because of this? Ah! It looks like you are tired of doing business. Just wait for me, I will spread this news to all the socialites, let's see which of them would want to get arrested in you store for something so menial as this!"
The attendants exchanged glances and sighed with their head bowed. They were all going to lose their jobs if they do not have a private settlement with Shu Rushi, and it was too late, as they have already involved the police.
Zhang Liling couldn't agree more with Shu Rushi on this matter because, calling the police was going to far. If she gets to the station and her father hears about this, her freedom was over!

Even with all these thoughts, she refused to step down and give Shu Rushi a chance.
After saying that to the attendants, Shu Rushi shifted her gaze back to the police. "I don't agree to the terms of a private settlement, I'm coming with you, but I have to call my family's lawyer first!"
Zhang Liling couldn't believe how shameless Shu Rushi could get. She caused trouble, and she was refusing to pay for the damages. Now she was calling her family lawyer to come over and settle the case for her, while she the victim, doesn't have anyone to call.
"Miss, please come with us now." One of the policemen said with his gazes on Zhang Liling and Shu Rushi.
A few minutes later....
Shu Rushi's family lawyer arrived at the station to bail her out.
After the questioning the two of them, the detective concluded that Shu Rushi should pay for 80% of the damages and apologize to Zhang Liling.
Shu Rushi was very angry that she nearly swore at the detective. Even the detective knew that if not for his position, she wouldn't hesitate to get into a fight with him.
Zhang Liling was not too happy, but she wasn't sad either because she agreed on the point that she should bear some punishment for dragging the bag with her, causing the chain hand to get spoilt.
"I will never apologize to her, you hear me?!" Shu Rushi said to the detective before throwing her face away.
The detective sighed and turned his gaze to Zhang Liling. "Her lawyer is coming over, who is coming to get you and do some paperwork?"
"Nobody is coming to get me. I am an adult, I can take care of myself." Zhang Liling insisted.
The detective refused to accept that and said, "You should have called your lawyer to come over and settle this matter. Anyway, we need someone to sign some papers on your behalf. You two shouldn't be seen causing trouble at any public place, or we will make a record of it. The reason we are letting this one slide is because of your family backgrounds and the personal relationship involved. I'm telling you that we would show no mercy next time!"
Shu Rushi glared daggers at Zhang Liling and snorted. Zhang Liling glanced at her and mouthed 'idiot'
The detective saw the glares being exchanged and had to hit his hand on his desk just to call them to order. The two immediately rolled their eyes at each other before fixing their gazes back at the detective who really looked angry at them.
"I'm still here!" He said with a stern gaze. The next second, he fixed his gaze on Zhang Liling and said, "Should I ask my boss to call Mr. Zhang?"
As soon as he said that, Zhang Liling looked shocked, while Shu Rushi sniggered.
"Don't call any one from my family! I will call someone else to come over!" Zhang Liling said with a little fright before getting off her seat and moving to another spot to take out her phone from her handbag.
The only contact she had that could help her without much troubles while going through her contact list was, Mr. Fang's personal assistant, Bolin. Hence she dialled his contact.
Bolin was sitting in the front passenger seat of Mr. Fang's car while chatting with him when Zhang Liling's call came in.
The driver was only 5 minutes away from Chuanli's private hospital when the call from Zhang Liling came in.
