"I know." Old Mr. Song was not ignorant of his daughter's attitude and feeling.

Unaware of her family's plans to bring her back into the family, a plan spearheaded by her father, Song Jujing was busy planning to relocate back to country S.
Now that her daughter was grown and married, plus the fact that she was living in the country where she was born and brought up, she didn't see any use in staying back all alone in such big country.
Being alone was hard, and she was stating to feel it.
There was no husband or child by her side, and all she did was to work as the Chief Editor of a famous magazine and spend her money on herself by going for short vacations during work and taking care of her system and skin.
Apart from that, she was alone most of the time.
Knowing that her daughter, Zhang Liling was going to start raising little children of her own soon, she thought it right to be by her side.

After making some calls during lunch, she returned to her office and then remembered that she hadn't spoken with her daughter in a while.

After doing some work on her laptop, Zhang Liling packed up and left her office for the day.
On her way traveling down to another town to meet her Zhang family, she stopped by a mall to get a few things.
Since there was no time to head home in order to pick a few things, she decided to shop for a few necessary things like toiletries, a simple night dress, a pair of inner wears and another change of clothes for the following day.
Spending a night at Zhang residence was more than enough for her. At least she would get to taunt her stepmother before leaving.
Stepping back into the car Fang Bingwen had arranged for her journey with a driver after the little shopping, she picked up her phone to make a call.
"Xiaoling, did you see the mail I sent to you about 2 hours ago?"
"What mail?" Zhang Xiaoling asked as her entitled face contoured in a frown.
She looked to not know what she was talking about.
"I see you didn't check your Mail box. Anyways, you can't blame me for leaving you out on this. Check your inbox and call me back." Saying that, Zhang Liling went ahead to end the call to save both of their time.
Zhang Xiaoling who was still in her office at the hour her step-sister called, decided to check her mailbox despite not getting the hang of the phone conversation.
"Are the tests results out?" Mumbling a bit to herself, she felt her heart start to race a bit, still, she braced herself to open her inbox to take a look at the file that had been sent to her.
Downloading the file into her phone, she proceeded to open it.
Instantly, her eyes widened once she caught sight of the big headline.
"What!"
In a frenzy state, she scrolled up to glance at the remaining content of the message before immediately putting a call to Zhang Liling.
"Did you confirm this first?" She inquired.
"Do you think I am like someone who does things without any evidence just to cause commotion online? I am not that cheap."
Zhang Liling had sent over the written content by a News editor, concerning Mikayla and Zhang Mingyu's relationship plus the fact that they were expecting a baby.
There was also a photo of the two hugging, attached to the written article.
Remembering the format that she had seen it, Zhang Xiaoling guessed, "Are you doing this so the wedding will be called off?"
"Why not? I can't let Zhang company's shares get into Shi Wenqian's hands. She would be unstoppable by then if she is not stopped now."
There was a moment of silence before Xiaoling spoke again. In her mind, she was feeling a little conflicted because this was still her mother that they were talking about.
Even though her mother was wrong and evil, she still couldn't shake off that maternal instinct.
With the silence from the other end, Liling noticed that something was off and guessed, "Are you regretting doing this?"
Instead of answering her question, Zhang Xiaoling said, "Although I have nothing against you revealing this news to the media like this, I feel that your actions will backfire. You better get ready for the consequences."
Knowing how her mother hated to lose and liked to have things done her way, she felt that she will have a comeback.
That woman didn't know what giving up meant, especially when she was very close to getting what she wanted.
"It doesn't matter. I will like to see what will happen next."
Releasing a sign she didn't know that she has been holding, she asked, "What about the test results, what is with the delay?"
"It will come in tomorrow. After tomorrow, I can successfully being your mother down." Zhang Liling stated, while optioning out from talking about the evidence from the bloody site.
Although she hasn't seen the video because she couldn't take in that sight, she trusted her Honey.
"Call me as soon as you get the results, I would like to take a look at the original documents by myself."
Zhang Xiaoling didn't want any soft copy to be sent to her because she wanted to see things for her own eyes.
In her thoughts, she didn't even know what she wanted. Maybe, if Shi Wenqian turned out not to be her mother, she may feel better.
But what will that make her?
She only became Zhang Renshu's daughter and married into the Tang family because of her mother. If she turned out to not be her biological daughter, wouldn't the Tang family, especially Mrs. Tang force her Enlai to divorce her.
The woman who already didn't like her, will accuse the Zhang family of fraud and even sue them in court for deceiving her entire family.
What will be left for her then?
Zhang Xiaoling didn't even want to imagine anything further and quickly shook her head.
Ending the conversation with Zhang Liling, she put her phone down and covered her face with her palms.
Even if Zhang Xiaoling turned out to be Shi Wenqian's daughter, she still wouldn't be totally free of the consequences when the news about her being a bloody criminal will be exposed.
Mrs. Tang would immediately ask her son to divorce her and ban her from stepping foot into the Tang family again.
That woman already hated her guts, imagine how she would taunt her because of her mother at the end of the day...
Although Zhang Liling was ignorant of some certain things, she knew that it would be difficult for a child to directly get involved in her mother's case, especially one that could directly subject her as a criminal as well.
And this was one of the reasons she had asked her from the start of the reason she wanted to expose her mother's dark side.
Putting herself in her shoes, Zhang Liling know that with how much she loves her mother, she would not do something like that.
But if her mother was not a good person to her, and did inhumane things, she would definitely dissociate herself from her.
For her, this stepsister of hers was very brave.
