Seeing that she was awake now and had realised the situation she was in, Fang Asked directly, "Tell me everything Shi Wenqian instructed you to do."
Raising his phone in the air, he added, "Everything will be recorded here. Begin!"
He had no time to joke or play house with her.
Also, he was being clean from the start by stating his intentions.
He was not going to deceive her.
Realizing the state she had come to, Secretary Cha tried to bargain with him by probing now that her lips were free.
"What do I get for speaking?"
Mr. Fang scoffed. Crossing his legs, he said without a change in his facial expression, "You will definitely be sent back to spend the rest of your remain days on earth in prison if you don't speak."
Secretary Cha most definitely didn't need to be tortured or bullied before revealing Shi Wenqian's instruction concerning Glint's production factory.
After listening for a while, Fang Bingwen was annoyed. "That woman truly has some guts."
While he was thinking of what to do to her, the woman in front of him lowered his voice to ask, "I have told you the words she passed to me and her expectation. Will you let me go now considering that I didn't succeed with my mission?"
Just when she had gotten to the factory and bribed a worker there with the chemicals she brought with her and turned to leave, she was dragged into a car and her lips were immediately sealed before she could scream for help.
Knowing the way she was abducted in the first place, Secretary Cha was sure that the worker she tried to bribe didn't get her way at the end.
The whole thing seemed like a setup. It was as if they were watching and waiting for her to come out so they could kidnap her.
"That is not enough. I know Shi Wenqian is into so many shady things. I want information on what she does." Fang Bingwen said, fixing his gaze on her, he drummed his fingers on his thighs.
"I won't send you to prison now, but I can keep you here for as long as I want."
He was practically telling her that he wouldn't send her to prison for confessing how Shi Wenqian asked her to sabotage Zhang Liling's business, but that was not enough to let him release her.
If she wanted to regain her freedom, then she would have to fulfill her second task which was to reveal her Mistress's secrets.
Having worked loyally and in submission for Shi Wenqian, this was a difficult thing to do, and seeing that Fang Bingwen had no intentions of torturing her, she remained reluctant to speak.
While her lips were still moving, she received a slap on her face which instantly woke her up.
With her face moving to the side, her eyes ran wide in shock as she felt the testing pain on her left cheek.
For almost a minute, she was lost in shock and couldn't even react from the pain.
Seeing that she got slapped by the man standing by her side, Fang Bingwen shut his eyes as he warned in anger.
"Don't you dare hit a woman in front of me." Opening his eyes, he glared at the man as he added, "You can do it when I'm not watching."
Just when Secretary Cha was about to feel reassured where Fang Bingwen's standing on torturing her, she swallowed back her words and emotions.
'I-I made a mistake!' She groaned inwardly.
Fang Bingwen didn't look like a gang leader but to her, he was no different.
What did he mean that they couldn't hit a woman in front of him but they could do it when he wasn't there?
Was he trying to tell her that this was how he would turn a blind eye to her if she didn't do according to his bidding?
Secretary Cha was shocked, but what she didn't know was that Fang Bingwen wouldn't have minded if Shi Wenqian was the one getting slapped.
He would have probably relaxed and watched her getting tortured without feeling an ounce of guilt in him.
The woman just didn't know when to give up. Hasn't she done enough?
Secretary Cha was still agonizing of the pain of getting slapped by some random man when she heard Mr. Fang's voice again.
In her life, she had gotten slapped by family while growing up but since she started working, on Shi Wenqian had hit her, and the number of times could only be counted on two hands.
"Are you ready to speak now?" Fang Bingwen asked with underlying threat in his tone.
Seeing that she had no option than to tell the truth, the woman first started by giving off an information she had just learned.
"Zhang Mingyu is not Mr. Zhang's son."
"How do you think you found out about it? It's because I made it possible. Don't waste my time and tell me something I don't know about!"
Pointing a finger at her whole choosing to ignore the Surprised look on her face, he warned, "Choose your next words carefully. I will not tolerate you trying to take me for a fool again."
Unknown to the woman, Fang Bingwen was the one that found out a out this truth before telling it to Zhang Liling who in turn exposed Shi Wenqian when she happened to be in her presence.
While on the plane to Paris, Zhang Liling had talked about what happened during the wedding withy Shi Wenqian since she was bored, and that was how Mr Fang came to know how Secretary Cha found out about the news.
Did she think he was a fool?
Seeing her acting that way, he no longer regretted seeing her getting beaten in front of him.
Somehow, he wished he could also punch her face if it were possible, but as he was not that kind of person, he would let things slide.
Fang Bingwen's words were enough for Secretary Cha to wise up. Now, she was finally aware of who got that information.
'So it was him?'
With his threat on ground now, she decided to trade carefully.
As there was nothing small she could use to trade, she brought out her only red card.
"Mrs. Zhang is into human body part trafficking."
