"They are unhappy about the marriage talks dying down since a few months now. One of us has to assure them. Also, how would I have told you about it when you left the house on a work trip without mentioning anything to me?"
"Are demanding for an explanation regarding me leaving and returning to my house at will?" Zhang Renshu asked, his brows, furrowing into a frown.
He seemed to be annoyed about the woman having control over him given that he hated her whole existence.
"I don't care when and why you leave the house. I'm only concerned about my children." Saying that, Shi Wenqian sent a spoon of food into her mouth.
Chewing on the mouth-watering dish, she moaned in satisfaction. "Mmmm... This is so good."
Zhang Renshu found her actions annoying, especially that smile on that evil face of hers.
Choosing to ignore her, he went back to eating his food as he did not want to ruin his appetite, but then he heard her voice again.

A long sigh escaped from Zhang Renshu's lips as he went back to ignoring her.
