Zhang Renshu was completely dumbstruck that he couldn't say anything for a while minute and seeing her father tongue-tied, brought joy to her.
Turning to walk away with that triumphant smile on her face, she tapped her fingers by her side, but then she remembered something important and stopped in her steps.
Without warning, she made a request, instantly jolting Zhang Renshu back to reality.
"Dad, I want to fire someone in this company. That lady at the reception desk is so rude even to me. She would ruin business for you."
Hearing her request which he found a little ridiculous, Zhang Renshu intertwined his fingers together before him on the desk.
"If you want to fire someone in Zhang Corp, then you must either be a staff here and as my daughter, you will have that right, or you can as a board member."

"I understand," Zhang Liling said, giving him a meaningful gaze,totally hiding her thoughts from him.

Saying that, she turned to leave with a big smile plastered on her face, her thoughts, only known to him.

"I'm good. I feel so much happier now. Anyway, you don't have to keep track of those two anymore. Now that I have confirmed with my own eyes of what their relationship is like, I can't be bothered about them."
"Why did you change your mind? I thought you wanted to use this situation to your advantage?" Tungmei whispered in a voice that only them would hear.
"There are plenty of opportunities to put on a simple show that would make others to catch them red-handed."
Zhang Liling couldn't be bothered about Zhang Mingyu and Mikayla's relationship for she had far greater matter to work on.

From Zhang Corp, Zhang Liling went to her company to do a last minute setup.
The medium sized room she crafted out has been totally transformed and ready for tomorrow's event, the long anticipated day.
Checking on the caterer, Zhang Liling went to pick up her dress after the last amendment.
This time around, she wanted to put on something that would fit her perfectly hence, she had an outfit tailor-made for herself.
After checking on everything on her To-Do List, she made a stop at Fang Group to see her beloved man who was walking tirelessly so he doesn't have to stop at the office the next day.
Putting down the things in her hands on the transparent glass table next to rolls of black sofa in the large office space, she immediately rushed behind his desk to give him a hug from the back.
"I missed you so much!" She declared while smooching his cheeks.
Without warning, Mr. Fang tilted his head to the side as he took her arm and pulled her to his side. Then without taking a moment to see her facial features, he locked her lips hungrily.
He was indeed very hungry.
When last did he even do as much as to give her a kiss? Work has been so busy for the two of them to even think about having a little romance.
But today, Zhang Liling found an opportunity for them to do this much.
Even though she was a little surprised that he would turn the smooching into a real kiss, she still reciprocated his actions without reservation.
But thankfully, one of them was still sane to realise where they were.

"This is my workspace and anyone can walk in on us."
"That's a lie. This is your private working space. You only broke the kiss because of your principles of office romance." Zhang Liling pouted as she walked over to sit from across him.
"Thank goodness you know how easily your temptation leads me into sin," Fang Bingwen acknowledged with a smile.
He really wanted to take off his hats for her.
He had been working since morning, but just seeing her for as little a few seconds was enough to drive him crazy.
Look how he broke the rules he had set for himself in his office.
Hearing him say that, a smile turned up on her face. She would take that as a compliment.
"How long have you been working?"
"The question should be if I have taken a break," He corrected as his back sank into the backrest while gazing at her with a smile.
His eyes were so bright like the full moon in the darkest night. He was so happy to see her after working for several hours nonstop.
Gazing at him properly, Zhang Liling leaned in to study his facial features. Even in the midst of those bright eyes that were fixed on her, she could see some dark circles around his eyes.
"Your face tells me how worked-up you are. Mr. Fang, you need to rest. You are my boyfriend and don't forget what tomorrow is. You can't come to Glint's event looking like this."
This was Zhang Liling's way of showing him that she cared for him plus the worry that was evident in her eyes.
"I am working so hard today so I will have the whole of tomorrow to accompany you." He revealed and knowing fully well of how touched she would be with his action, he hurriedly diverted her attention.
"Liling, your first priority should be looking after this boyfriend of yours. I see you holding so many things in your hands, what did you bring for me?"
He asked shamelessly as his gaze flew past her and came to slowly rest on the branded nylons she brought with her.
