Somehow, Zhang Liling did not have to wait for long before Fang Bingwen's response came.

'Make sure to cook up a meal if you don't want to be eaten clean tonight.'

"Mr. Fang!" Zhang Liling cringed at the response she got from him and she literally ran away from her social App.

Was this really Mr. Fang?

She was indeed surprised at his dirty talks. She thought she was an expert in this, but who knew that the man who usually looked disinterested in stuff like this would be a pro.

How did he manage to keep that kind of talent hidden all this while?

Zhang Liling had indeed met her match.

After getting over her fluttering in her chest, she hurriedly ran into her bedroom to get dressed before picking up a wad of cash and her handbag.

She didn't want to be eaten clean, hence, she booked a ride down to the largest supermarket in the city to get some stuff she could she to cook something for him.

Without wasting time, she left her apartment and took the elevator to the ground floor before getting into the cab she had booked earlier.

A few hours later, Zhang Liling heard her door bell ring while in the kitchen and hurriedly took off the kitchen gloves before going over to check the door.

She wasn't expecting any other person then Fang Bingwen hence, she hurried over with her heart pounding heavily in her chest.

Just the thought of him already waiting right outside her door, reminded her of the kind of conversation they had earlier that day.

Once again, she felt a slight pain on her cheek bone as she pressed the button to unlock her door.

As soon as she opened the door, she saw him standing there dressed in a black pant with a black shirt hugging the tight muscles of his chest.

Seeing the black suit jacket on his right arm, she glanced over to his empty hand before her gaze moved up to his face.

His hair was smoothened out and looked very clean unlike the speck of tiredness she could see on his face.

"You look tired, Mr. Fang." She said while still standing between the door and the frame.

"That's the more reason you have to let me in before a grown man would collapse in front of the door to your apartment." Fang Bingwen replied as his gaze followed her feet up to her face.

Zhang Liling was currently wearing a pair of fluffy white flip-flops on her feet.

Probably she was putting on a short dress as the apron covered the length of it, making it difficult to tell where it reached.

Her hair was completely disheveled as some beads of sweat glistened on her forehead.

She stood there staring at him with eyes as a big as a doll.

Hearing his joke, a small smile played on her lips as she opened the door wide and shifted to the side so he could pass.

With a smirk turning up at the corners of his lips, Fang Bingwen stepped inside, and that was when Bolin who had been standing outside away from sight, came into her view.

Smiling at her, he immediately greeted her as he put up Fang Bingwen's workbag and a portable travel bag in front of her.

"For Mr. Fang." He simply said as he offered her a small smile.

'Is he staying over for the night?' Zhang Liling couldn't get the picture even after taking the things from Bolin and shutting the door after he turned away.

Walking into the living room, she noticed that the man had already made himself at home.

He changed into the pair of male slippers she had bought for him some time ago, and was already making his way into the sitting room.

Unable to understand his intentions, she quickly followed after him. "Mr. Fang, are you passing the night here?" she asked with her gaze on him.

Slipping his hands inside the front pockets of his pants, Fang Bingwen nodded. "Yes. Why? You don't want me here?"

He had in fact, made it clear to her when he was asking her to prepare food for him.

Would he be making such request instead of accepting the smoothie she offered him?

She was the dumb one for not understanding his intentions.

"No, it's not that. I am only surprised that you would want to spend the night at my place. I thought you were running from me." Zhang Liling answered as she by passed him to walk through the short corridor.

"There is nothing to fear." Fang Bingwen said as he followed after her.

But to Zhang Liling, there was something to fear. Before, she used to be the one terrorising him and he would be the one running, but it looks like the tides has changed.

There was something to be afraid of.

Without wasting time, she led him into the second room she had put together for him.

" you want a hot water bath?" she asked as she opened the door to the closet.

"I will take it up from here, go and finish up with the cooking in the kitchen." He said to her.

She smelled of grilled chicken and herbs, plus the aroma of the food coming from the kitchen. He wouldn't be blamed if the food turned into coals all because she wanted to serve him.

He was not a child here.

"Alright. Call me if you need anything." Zhang Liling said before leaving.

If not for his reminder, she would have forgotten about the food on fire.

The next few minutes, Zhang Liling worked her ass off in the kitchen to finish up the food on fire.

The first thing she did was to check the stuff she had in her oven.

Thankfully, the chicken she was grilling didn't burn.

Taking the pan out from the oven, she placed it on the counter before walking up to the table gas to check the food on it.

Several minutes later, the food was ready and after serving it, she went to the second room to look for Mr. Fang.
