"Mr. Fang, you are not romantic at all!" Zhang Liling complained with furrowed brows while sitting on the bed next to him.

"Must I be touchy to prove that I am romantic?" Fang Bingwen questioned while gazing at her in amusement.

He didn't believe that one day a woman would barge into his room in the morning to question him about being romantic or not.

Maybe, no one other than Zhang Liling could pull it off.

"There are indeed so many ways to prove that someone is romantic, but buying me gifts is not enough. I do that too,"

"Fine." Mr. Fang gave up trying to reason with her. "Come close."

"Why?"

"If you don't feel like it, then go away. Don't disturb my peace."

Instantly, Zhang Liling moved close to him as a smile turned up on her lips. Somehow, she could kind of get what he was about to do.

Seeing her becoming happy within a short while, Fang Bingwen shook his head. Now he had to prove that he was romantic.

Since when did that one start?

Shaking the thought off his head, he pulled her close to him and cupped her face as she immediately crossed her leg over to the other side.

As soon as she did that, his eyes widened in their sockets. "What are you doing?"

"Getting into position," Zhang Liling replied as she sat on the thick blanket covering the part between his legs.

Thankfully, the duvet was thick enough to prevent her from feeling his thick member.

"Don't just sit with your weight on me," he instructed before cupping her face.

Having no patience to listen to him, she immediately circled her arms around his neck and leaned her face toward him.

Pressing his lips to hers, Mr. Fang plunged his tongue into her mouth as his lashes fluttered close.

Pushing her upper body to meet his rock-hard chest, she inhaled sharply as her eyelids snapped shut.

A few minutes after a fierce kiss, Zhang Liling leaned away and asked a little breathlessly as she tried to stay focused.

"Should we get married?"

"Why? You can't wait to sleep with me?" Fang Bingwen retorted while giving her a side glance.

"Of course! It's tiring to see the food before me and not eat."

A tired sigh escaped his lips as he tried to imagine the kind of human being he was dealing with.

"Are you telling me to my face that you are only marrying me because of bed activities?"

"Who said we can only do it on the bed?" Zhang Liling mumbled under her breath, not knowing that he heard her clearly.

Unable to bear her crazy thoughts, Mr. Fang couldn't help but question the origin of her idea.

"Who thought you all of this? Instead of thinking about your future goals, you are thinking crazy things."

"It's not so!" Zhang Liling said in defense as she adjusted her sitting position.

"It's not so? Then what is it?" He asked while staring straight into her eyes.

Fiddling with her hand, she thought for a moment before responding. "It's because you revolve around everything I planned. I already have a plan on the way, a plan that you would most definitely be proud of when you hear of it."

Mr. Fang was tired, and as he didn't want to continue going back and forth with her, he threw her an important question.

"Are you ready to fulfill your duties as a wife? Are you ready to submit to me?"

Before talking about marriage, he needed to hear her response. He knew her kind of personality as she was very stubborn and could be sometimes hard to control.

At least, this question will help her to think deeply, and if she wasn't ready, it would be better if they continued to date until she made up her mind.

He was her boyfriend now, so he couldn't ask her to submit to him. And being a good man, he was giving her insight into what came with a wife's duty to her husband.

If she wasn't ready to be under a man at the moment, there was no need to hurry, as they could continue to take things slowly.

Because if their identities should change from boyfriend and girlfriend to husband and wife, something had to change between them apart from their titles.

Nodding in understanding, Zhang Liling replied as she gazed into his eyes. "Yes, I love you, and I have thought about it. You are the only man I can submit to."

"Good." He wasn't even surprised that she was going to give that kind of response.

It was as if marrying him and devoting her whole life to him, was a part of her life goals.

"Are you also willing to have a child with me?" He asked.

This was another important question that needed her response. He wanted a child, and he needed to know if it was okay to have one.

Their wants had to align. Being devoted to him wasn't enough. The children they would have later were a part of it.

"Why not?" Without waiting for a second break, Zhang Liling answered immediately, but then, she suddenly stopped smiling.

"Wait, Mr. Fang..." She said, suddenly shifting her butts closer to him as she raised her knees.

"Why? You don't want to?" Fang Bingwen asked as his gaze narrowed at her.

His looks were as if he was daring her to insist on those words that would get her into trouble.

Zhang Liling hurriedly shook her head frantically. "Not that's not it. Of course, I want to have a child with you. The problem is that it's incredibly painful. Motherhood is not for the fainthearted, so for this topic Mr. Fang, I beg you to give me a little time to think about it?"

Thinking about the labor pains and the discomfort that came with it, Zhang Liling shouldered. She didn't think she was up for it yet.

She needed some time to adjust her thoughts and get herself ready to accept the struggles of motherhood.

"What's there to think about? I did not ask you to give me a child as soon as we get married. I only asked what your thoughts on having a child were, you dummy."
