Seeing the familar environment she missed so badly, a soft sigh escaped from her parted thin lips.
Suddenly, Zhang Liling began to feel nostalgic as the car drive into the familiar estate.
Just a little above a year ago, she had passed this place and gone straight to the airport.
Just how must she missed this place that meant so much to her without knowing.
"Mr. Fang, I'm here at last." She muttered under her breath as the rim of her eyes turned red.
Her eyes glistening with tears, she watched the estate fade behind her as the car drive into Mr. Fang's villa.
Earlier when they got to the security checkpoint in front of the estate, they were allowed to pass when the security guards recognized her.
One of them had even asked how she had been, and she replied politely.
As the official car slowly drove in toward Mr. Fang's villa, Zhang Liling could see the familiar car right in front of the house and a long sigh of releaseded escaped her lips.
'He is yet to leave for work.'
She had guessed this because of the way the car was parked.
At the thought of meeting her beloved Mr. Fang, her heart pounded in her heart, and she could hear the sound of heartbeats in her head.
She was a bit nervous as her fingers slightly trembled.
"L-Liling, calm down," she uttered with quivered lips as her gaze remained straight.
She was trying to calm her nerves while trying to picture the expression or reaction Mr. Fang would give on seeing her.
The more she thought about it, the more nervous she became.
She didn't tell anyone about her travel plans, hence the reason she was fidgeting now.
She had wanted to surprise him more especially before other people.
Just then, she heard the driver saying something to her and finally came out from her daydreams.
"Miss, we are here..."
Bolin who was still sitting inside Mr. Fang's car, accidentally glanced at the rear-view mirror and was surprised to see a black car driving in.
His brows furrowed. 'Who could that be?'
As he was thinking, he heard the entrance door to the villa closing and quickly turned his gaze to see Mr. Fang standing in front of the door and gazing past his car.
Immediately, he got of the car and closed the car door before turning his gaze to glance at the incoming car.
Mr. Fang who was still standing in front of his house, narrowed his gaze at the unfamiliar car driving into his premises.
He refused to move an inch and just stood there watching the car till it pulled over.
At last, it was Bolin that first made a move. He saw the things in his Boss's hands and hurriedly went over to take them from him before turning his gaze back to the black tinted car.
Zhang Liling could see the tall handsome man standing still with his gaze on the car she was in as tears welled up in her eyes.
She missed this man so much. The man that had brought her happiness, love and care.
Zhang Liling's emotions was starting to get riled up, and the driver noticed when she glanced at her from the mirror after he had pulled over.
"Miss Zhang..." He called out in concern as he turned his gaze to glance behind him.
Hearing her name being called was like a trigger for her.
Without warning, she pushed the car door open and ran out.
"Mr. Fang!" She called out emotionally with her teary gaze staring right at the man who now had a surprised look on his face after catching a sight of her.
On seeing that familar figure rushing out the car, Mr. Fang was taken aback. Straight lines appeared in his forehead as his eyes widened in their sockets.
"Liling?" He muttered under his breath as if he was not sure of what his eyes was seeing.
Bolin who was standing beside him looked surprised as well as he stared ahead in astonishment.
Both men were surprised to see her because they were not aware about her arriving City S that very day.
By the time Zhang Liling had gotten to their side, her sight was almost blurry.
"Mr. Fang!" She called out as she ran into his embrace.
Mr. Fang stood there rigid without moving his limbs.
Not expecting to hear any response from him, a smile that reached Zhang Liling's eyes spread across her face as the arms around his back tightened.
She knew he was probably too shocked to see her, and she understood. Afterall, she never mentioned about her travel and plans the last time they spoke.
"I missed you so much Mr. Fang." She said and rubbed her makeup free face on his chest as if he was a teddy bear she couldn't have enough of it's softness.
Bolin couldn't stand this sweetness and hurriedly left their side with Mr. Fang's suit jacket and briefcase.
It seemed that movement was solid enough to startle Mr. Fang, and to help him come out of the shock.
Slowly, his gaze shifted from the distance to the top of the head of the little woman wrapping herself in his arms.
Immediately, his nose picked up that familar fragrance it had missed so much and inhaled it as relief washed over him.
"Why didn't you tell me you were coming back today?" His soft voice that showed just how much he indulged and cared for her asked.
Zhang Liling felt a wave of sweetness wash over her as a rush of adrenalin enveloped her.
When last did she hear his deep natural voice that was always capable of sweeping her off her feet?
Honestly, she couldn't remember.
To his question, she replied as she smuggled in his arms. "I wanted to surprise you, and I'm happy I did. Mr. Fang, I missed you so much."
As she confessed her feelings, she slowly raised her head to meet his gaze.
