While Zhang Liling was having a good time with her mother, Shi Wenqian was having a normal moment with her children.

"Liling, don't you have plans of attending your graduation ceremony today?" She asked with slightly furrowed brows.
Immediately, Zhang Liling's eyes shut open. She sat up on her bed and turned her gaze to meet hers.
"Good morning, Mum. How can I miss my graduation ceremony?"
"Then why are you still sleeping by this time?" Song Jujing queried.
Zhang Liling moved the duvet off her body and got off the bed. "I set an alarm for 7 am. It's yet to ring, so I am assuming that I'm still on time."
Song Jujing didn't have the energy to argue with her and just let her be. Her graduation ceremony would be starting by 9 am and she planned on using an hour and thirty minutes to get ready?

Zhang Liling got dressed in in a flowery printed dress. Her makeup was done by a makeup artist he rmother had contracted for that day.
Song Jujing wanted her daughter to look good on a joyous occasion like today, so, went all out for it.
Finally when Zhang Liling got some alone time, she whipped out her phone to dial Mr. Fang's number.
If she texted him, she wasn't sure of ever getting a reply from him, hence, she braced up to give him a call.

Mr. Fang was sitting at the backseat of his car.
He had just swallowed his meds and was drinking water from his bottle when he heard his phone vibrating in his pocket.
The man looked not to be in a hurry to check his phone. He made sure to have drank the water to his satisfaction before capping the plastic and putting it down at his feet and then unhurriedly put his hand into his breast pocket to take his phone out.
Glancing at the caller ID, he sighed and was about to answer the call when it ended. Not waiting for her to call back, he decided to phone her.
Since Zhang Liling left his house, he has not seen her, and he had almost not spoken to her. He didn't think it would be progressive for their current awkward relationship if he continued to ignore her.
Zhang Liling did not give her phone the chance to ring before answering the call.
It was a miracle that he even bothered to call her back when she already had the plan to do so.
"Good morning, Mr. Fang!" Zhang Liling's excited voice came immediately she answered the call.
Mr. Fang couldn't tell she what was making her that excited but went on to respond to her greeting.
"Good morning."
"Mr. Fang are you coming for my graduation today?" Zhang Liling inquired.
'So this is why she called?' He thought.
Glancing at the road ahead of him, Mr. Fang decided to reveal his location and intentions to her.
"I am 15 minutes away from NYU. I have a role..."
"What?! You are coming? You are already on your way?!" Zhang Liling half-screamed as she jumped to her feet without letting him finish his sentence.
That minute, she completely forgot her mother was present and unintentionally succeeded in dragging her attention to her.
Song Jujing went in to check on the reason she heard her shriek from the living room area, and when she pushed the door open, she saw the happiness present on her face and a phone placed on her ear.
Zhang Liling's shoulders shrank back as soon as she met her mother's annoyed gaze.
"Don't think that I'm coming because of you. Anyway, you will learn the reason soon," Mr. Fang said with a tinge of annoyance in his tone.
He didn't want her to misunderstand and start feeling proud.
Bolin who was sitting in the front passenger seat, tilted his head to his left side and glanced at him from his peripheral view.
'Was he speaking to Miss Zhang? Since when did they become so close for him to speak to her that way.'
When Mr. Fang did not hear any response from her, he thought the call had disconnected and had to bring his phone away from his ear to glance at the screen.
Seeing that the call was still connected, he placed the phone back on his ear and was about to call out to her when he heard a mature female voice speak from the other end.
"Who are you speaking to that made you scream like that? Can't you keep your voice down and not scare me?" Song Jujing asked with furrowed brows.
If only Zhang Liling knew how worried her mother was about her, then she would have appreciated her care.
'That voice belongs to Zhang Liling's mother?' Mr. Fang thought.
If this was any other time, he would have ended the call, but he let the call go on and listened for what was happening at the other end.
Maybe he was trying to detect the kind of relationship Zhang Liling had with her mother.
"Mum I'm sorry, I am still far too excited for today. I promise, I won't scream again." Zhang Liling quickly apologized to her mother.
Luckily, Song Jujing didn't contine to scold her or inquire about the caller ID.
"Don't scare me with that scream next time. Breakfast is served, come and eat so we can leave immediately." She said before turning to leave.
Zhang Liling sighed in relief and felt a little calm but not for long.
From the other end, Mr. Fang heard the door shut before his questioning tone was heard, "You are still at home?"
