"I'm done having this conversation with you. Miss Zhang, make use of the door!" Mr. Fang said while pointing a finger towards the door.

His gaze on her was heavy like he would swallow her whole if she didn't leave the next second.

He couldn't believe that she was trying to market herself to him.

She was giving him reasons to date her by all means, and he couldn't understand her completely no matter what.

What kind of woman is she? She was acting as if men were scarce.

Zhang Liling's brows lowered and pulled closer together, and the corners of her mouth were drawn downwards. She seemef very unhappy.

"Mr. Fang you see, you are not giving me any chance to get close to you, you lied the other time."

Mr. Fang shook his head in denial and even went on to explain.

"I didn't lie to you. You don't have any Bachelor's degree certificate yet. Even if you are done writing your final exams, you are still a student as long as I'm concerned. Also, your first class grade will come into play."

At the mention of the first class grade, Mr. Fang's lips curled up into a smile for the first time ever since this kind of conversation was brought up, and Zhang Liling didn't look happy to see it.

Her brows furrowed further as her eyes squinted at him. She was angry.

She stared at him for almost a minute before saying calmly, "Mr. Fang, I will be back." Then she turned her back to him and trotted towards the door.

When her hand came to hold the door handle, she bent it slightly and pulled it open. Tilting her head slightly to the left, she gave one last look to the man who had an amused expression on his face, before walking away.

'She is annoyed, this is good.' Mr. Fang thought with a delightful heart as his gaze stayed on her till she disappeared from his view, and his sight could only see the tightly shut door.

For days, Zhang Liling did not say a word to Mr. Fang apart from greeting him, and she didn't even bother to smile at him.

Mr. Fang on the other hand, thought that she had finally stopped being delusional.

'If she behaves herself, I will be a good guardian to her,' He thought.

Since the conversation with Mr. Fang in his study, Zhang Liling has been checking her school website for the official announcement of their results release, so she could calculate her grade by herself without the school's help.

Waiting one more week shouldn't be difficult, but it was for her. Mr. Fang was going on a date tomorrow, what will she do if he decides to date that woman?

'No! I can't let that happen!' Zhang Liling concluded and stopped pacing around her room.

Picking up her phone from her desk, she went to sit on the foot of her bed and went to her contact list to pull out Chuanli's.

Taking a deep breath, she dialled his contact and placed her phone on her ear while hearing it ring and waiting for him to pick it up.

Chuanli decided to do a clean up today, and was busy sorting out the files on his desk when her call came in.

He put down the folder in his hand and picked up his phone. Seeing the caller ID, the corner of his lips immediately curled up into a smile.

"Miss Zhang, do you miss me, or do you need my help?" He asked as he swirled in his seat while relaxing his back comfortably.

"Dr. Li, I need your help. Are you free at the moment, I hope I am not interrupting your work?"

Chuanli glanced at his desk before shifting his gaze back to the door. "Actually, I was preoccupied when your call came in but, you can go ahead and make your request."

Zhang Liling felt relieved and released a deep sigh. She didn't know if it would have been possible to wait if he had said to call him back later.

"Mr. Fang has a date with someone tomorrow evening by 6."

"Bingwen has a date?!" Chuanli almost shot up from his seat as his eyes widened in shock.

His friend had a blind date and he didn't know about it? Since when did things start to change.

Zhang Liling had to pull her phone away from her ear with a frown. He almost hurt her eardrum due to his reaction.

"Yes. I was with him on the day his grandmother called to tell him about the blindate." She confirmed the news.

Chuanli gradually calmed down as he rested his back against the comfortable leathered seat.

"This is interesting. His grandmother fixed a blindate for him, and he didn't put up a fight?" He asked.

Zhang Liling went on to respond and explain the details of the conversation she was able to pick up.

After a minute of silence from his end, he sighed. "So Miss Zhang, what kind of help do you need from me,"

A smirk turned up on his lips while waiting for her response. He could already guess what she was going to request for.

"Dr. Li, can you help me find out the address for his date? Mr. Bolin should know about it, or you can ask Mr. Fang directly."

"So you can crash it?" He teased in a light tone.

Zhang Liling let out a heavy breath into the phone while pinching her brows together. "I wouldn't dare to crash his date, it's not like I don't want to live anymore. I just want him to see me and feel my presence."

"And how is that going to change anything?" Chuanli asked with a little confusion.

Zhang Liling shrugged, "It should be a reminder to him that I haven't given up on him. He annoyed me some days ago, so I haven't been talking to him."

Chuanli laughed heartily into the phone immediately he heard that.

Mr. Fang annoyed her? And she ignored him? What a funny young woman.
