Chapter 1457: Immature Methods

Vainglory let out a miserable cry as he flew into the circle. At the same time, a teleporting gate appeared behind Ming Du.
Ming Du was still frantically looking around for the other end of the teleporting gate. Who would have known that the teleporting gate would actually appear behind him? Thus, he was completely defenseless when Vainglory’s [Shadow Chain Kick] appeared out of nowhere and struck him from behind.

Seeing that he had suddenly returned back to his team, Vainglory revealed a look of utter confusion. He asked Fearless in a confused manner, “What’s going on? Is Rockabye dead? Where’s Ming Du?”
In the face of Spring Halo’s chain of questions, Fearless helplessly replied, “You were teleported back by Space Magic and killed Ming Du with that kick of yours.”
“F*ck!” Vainglory replied depressingly.
At this moment, Boson had made use of the opportunity when both Rockabye and the Space Magician’s attention were on Vainglory to breach past the Orc’s defenses. Under the barrage from the enemy’s Archers, Boson had arrived near the two of them. With a flash of his figure, Boson activated [Triple Slash], instantly arriving in front of Rockabye and slashing at him.
Upon seeing this, Rockabye raised one of his hands, pulling a table towards him and using it to block the incoming strike.

Following which, the Space Magician drew another circle towards Boson, causing the surrounding space around Boson to fluctuate. Shortly after, a circular teleportation gate appeared in front of him and swallowed the upper half of his body. Upon seeing this, the Space Magician immediately clasped his hands together, shutting the gate, causing Boson’s body to severed from the waist down and vanishing into a white ray of light in front of everyone’s gazes.
“F*ck!”
After seeing how overpowered the Space Magician was, Spring Halo and Fearless’ faces instantly paled significantly. Everyone had seen countless Hero job classes. Even though they were slightly stronger than the regular job classes, the strength of the player ultimately depended on the player’s skills.
However, this Space Magician was the only Hero job class that they have seen that only needed to rely on the attributes of the job class to overpower the rest of the Hero job classes.
“Fearless, is there still a need for us to go over and kill ourselves?”

Upon hearing his name, the Space Magician nodded, before drawing a circle with his hand once more, opening up a teleportation gate above Spring Halo’s head.
“Hold up!”
Upon seeing Spring Halo about to die the same death as Boson, Fearless suddenly cried out, “If you are to kill us, all the more you wouldn’t be able to find out who you’re looking for.”
“It doesn’t matter!” Meng Xi replied, “Twilight City is extremely big. I don’t believe everyone is like you.”
“And what if the others don’t speak either?” Fearless asked.
“Then I’ll kill them until they do!” Meng Xi answered expressionlessly.
This chick’s methods were extremely ruthless. She had already planned to massacre the city. What did Wang Yu do in the past to force an angelic beauty like her into such a person?
“It seems like we are unable to reach a conclusion, but we don’t want to die either!” Fearless fondled his chin before adding, “I have an idea which may help.”

Before Fearless could finish his sentence, a figure suddenly emerged from the ground behind Meng Xi. All of a sudden, Darknorth Fisher appeared from the ground and thrust his dagger towards Meng Xi’s back.
However, before Darknorth Fisher’s blade could get anywhere near Meng Xi, Rockabye raised both his hands up into the air. All of a sudden, Darknorth Fisher felt as if someone was lifting him up in the air and was dangling aimlessly in midair. Regardless of whatever he did, he couldn’t get any closer to Meng Xi, much less stab her.
At the same time, the arm of a huge boulder-like figure appeared from beside Meng Xi, grabbing onto the back of Darknorth Fisher’s neck.
Following which, the arm ruthlessly threw Darknorth Fisher onto the ground.
“Boom!”
A huge pit was formed on the ground beneath Darknorth Fisher. The boulder-like figure then raised his leg and ruthlessly stepped onto Darknorth Fisher, turning him into a white ray of light.
“Haha!”
Meng Xi squinted her eyes and said, “Sect Leader Fearless, this was your so-called idea? I hope you refrain from using any more of such immature methods. My subordinates are on a different league compared to your trash sect members and aren’t opponents they can handle!”
As she was speaking, Meng Xi glanced behind Fearless.
Upon seeing this, Fearless hurriedly turned around, only to see the air behind him fluctuating slightly, before another Orc appeared behind him.

Upon seeing this Orc Assassin, Fearless was shocked speechless.
F*ck, no wonder Darknorth Fisher’s [Earth Drill] was so easily countered. They had an Assassin hidden behind Quan Zhen Sect all along. Darknorth Fisher’s actions naturally wouldn’t go undetected.
