While a Warrior was clearly not an agile job, a Weapons Master would always add points to boost their agility. Fearless was definitely not able to outrun Hades.
After using his [Invincibility] and self-exploding skill in the previous match, both skills were in CD.
As for health, Hades was, after all, a Warrior with decent equipment... Fearless was not confident he could kill him within one explosion.

In addition, a Warrior would have added points to his agility and the long sword would prevent a Pugilist from being able to get close to a Warrior. Therefore, the vast advantage a Warrior had over a Pugilist in the later stages of the game became much more evident.
