Chapter 1146: Departed Spirit’s Roar

“This time... He won’t come alive again.”

Looking at Tyrone who had dissolved into a puddle of liquid not too far away, Five Flagtree held her disgust and asked Wang Yu.

She was a girl after all so she was less immune to such things. If it was not in the game, Five Flagtree would probably have vomited.

“Dang...”

Just then, there was a sound of something dropping. A few shining objects appeared where Tyrone died.

Seeing the things Tyrone dropped on the ground, Wang Yu nodded his head confidently, “Probably not.”

In the system’s setting, monsters only dropped things when they died so when a BOSS died and did not drop anything, he might not be alive but once it dropped something, it was definitely completely dead.

“Great!” “Great!”

Having Wang Yu’s word, everyone finally felt relieved.

Damn it, there was only a glass bottle... Furthermore, they all did not want to see that gross scene again.

“Erm, who is going to pick what Tyrone dropped?”

After calming down, Mystery Observer looked around and asked weakly.

Tyrone was a powerful BOSS and this was his first kill so the things he dropped were the best. Mystery Observer wanted to pick the things but before that pool of liquid disappeared, no one dared to go.

It was gross but more importantly, they did not know if it would be corrosive... It would not be worth it if they sacrificed themselves too.

“This...”

Five Flagtree was not stupid. She also had that little craftiness Mystery Observer had. Seeing the two of them not move, Five Flagtree tugged Wang Yu, signifying that she too did not want to go.

“Hehe!” Wang Yu turned to look at Five Flagtree then smiled at Mystery Observer and said, “If I go, can I pick an item first?”

Mystery Observer paused for a while then said naturally, “Sure, of course! Brother Bull, all up to you.”

Normal players were unlike Wang Yu who was not greedy for credit. When they divide the equipment, they usually base it on individual contribution to the team.

It was basically Wang Yu’s credit that they managed to kill this BOSS. The only helpful one was Five Flagtree who opened that bottle. Even if Wang Yu took everything away, Mystery Observer could not object.

This was the rules of playing the game. Mystery Observer had a reputation to uphold so naturally, he would not destroy it over a small thing.

Furthermore, once Wang Yu entered the dungeon, he had been carrying the other three. He did not take everything from the first two BOSS so asking for one now was very reasonable. In the game, it was always about treating others how they treat you. Wang Yu’s selfless actions did leave a good impression on Mystery Observer.

“I shall take it then!” Wang Yu cupped his fists towards Mystery Observer then walked to the things Tyrone dropped and picked it up and sent the attributes to the team chat.

Tyrone’s notebook: Rare item. A messily written notebook full of incomprehensible words for an unknown use.

Item background: Tyrone’s handwritten notes

Wang Yu had seen notebooks. Back then, Wang Yu picked up a Blacksmith notebook in the mine and got it as a hidden secondary job. Tyrone had such a powerful identity so his handwritten notes were definitely extraordinary.

Of course, Wang Yu, who had been shamelessly cheated by the system, knew that he should not but assuming. Tyrone had been stuck inside for so many years so it was uncertain what was written inside.

It would be okay if it was some useful knowledge. If it was some pornographic story, it would be awkward.

Hence, Wang Yu lifted the notebook and asked, “Anyone know this thing?”

“Erm... It should be a quest item.” The three of them replied upon seeing the notebook’s attributes.

In <<REBIRTH>>, quest items were always like this – no attributes and some weird introduction.

“What is written inside?” Wang Yu asked curiously.

Tyrone was a Dark faction NPC so it was highly likely he used a Dark Faction language.

“Erm...” Mystery Observer opened the notebook and browsed it for a while then said with a low voice, “I don’t know...”

“F*ck!” Wang Yu snatched the notebook over then said, “Why be pretentious if you don’t know! Do you want it? If you do, here you go!”

After speaking, Wang Yu pushed the notebook towards Mystery Observer and Unfathomable Mystery.

“No... No.”

The two of them saw this and quickly retreated as they waved their hands.

What a joke, Tyrone dropped so many things, why would they want such an unknown thing?

“Since no one wants it, I shall keep it!”

Wang Yu smiled and kept the notebook into his bag.

The second item was a dagger which looked like it was made from bone. It was entirely black and the shank end was a lifelike skeleton.

Item introduction: The Grand Departed Spirit Magician Tyrone’s best defence equipment. Has been with him for thousands of years and have absorbed dark magic so it has an unknown affinity with players from the Dark Faction.

The extent of stealth, movement speed and attack strength were all important attributes to an Assassin.

This dagger not only strengthened these three attributes, it even came with an extra summoning skill. While strengthening oneself, it also mitigated Assassin’s Achilles’ heel.

Although this dagger could be used by anyone, it was a god-tier weapon for an Assassin.

Seeing the dagger in Wang Yu’s hand, Mystery Observer looked full of desire and almost drooled.

Seeing how Mystery Observer wanted it so much, Wang Yu purposely played around with him, “This dagger is pretty good... All jobs can use it so it is useful for all of us.”

Mystery Observer heard him and panickingly asked, “Brother Bull... Uncle Bull... You can’t do this. As a Pugilist, it is beneath you to be paired with this lowly dagger.”

“Really?” Wang Yu observed how Mystery Observer began badmouthing his own job so he knew he was panicking. He secretly felt happy then threw it over to Mystery Observer then educatingly said, “Since it is beneath me, then you can have it. You must listen to Brother Bull’s words from now on, ok? Don’t be mischievous.”

“Of course, of course!” Mystery Observer held on to the dagger and said gratefully, “Brother Bull, from now on I will follow you around. Whoever offends you is Mystery Pavillion’s enemy.”

Seeing how Mystery Observer was completely submissive, Wang Yu knew that for the rest of this dungeon, he would not go against him again so he smiled, “Don’t be so exaggerated. Let’s be friends and help one another.”

“Yes, yes!” Mystery Observer nodded furiously. If just following behind Wang Yu to get god-tier equipment without doing anything could not bribe Mystery Observer, then he would just be ungrateful.
