"Mr. Emberweave, I said that 'He's one of the lords that preside here.' Also, I clearly said the lord of Ryukyu is Yarimasa Kuroda, and not Goro Kuroda." Kato patiently explained.

"I think it's a 'Forgetfulness' spell, but a regional version instead of the global one that the Hightower uses," said Pride. Her eyes shone with cyan light and had several golden rings in them. She looked at the sky above outside the glass panel within the meeting room.

"I see…" Daniel nodded. "So… this Yarimasa is that powerful," Daniel uttered.
His heart weighed heavily; it was the first time he was in a situation where he was completely caught off guard by someone's attack since becoming a mage. If not for the magic shield he usually recast every morning, he would have also been affected by this spell.
