There were certain clues regarding where the war would be conducted. First of all, were the portals leading into other Realms that were located close to the Tura City. The concentration of gates here was the highest as compared to other places located around the edge of the Gaider Realm.

Moreover, through information relayed by the Sleeper Cells sent out through the various portals, Compass Carburettor finalised the location where the enemy armies would be coming.

After that, his Apocalypse World self created eight Reality Marbles above the potential battlefield. All the Reality Marbles had the same terrain. They were filled to the brim with corrosive acid.

The quantity within each Reality Marble was enough to flood a city. It was a simple but effective strategy to wipe out a good chunk of the enemies.

What best way to deal with an army than this?

He also installed countless entrances to each Reality Marble, ensuring that it wouldn’t be easy to defend against them all.

Obviously, he wasn’t the type to allow the enemy to prepare. And hence, when the seven System Hosts were conversing with one another, the Compass Carburettors left at Tura City took action.

The Earth Compass Carburettor in the City acted as a beacon of information, vanishing as the information they had witnessed appeared in the minds of the Cultivation World Compass Carburettors that had summoned them. After that, they informed the Apocalypse World Compass Carburettors to target the enemies.

And with that, seven Apocalypse World Compass Carburettors took action at the same time, opening multiple entrances in the Reality Marble as the acid stored within gushed out like a torrent.

A treant on the ground was the first to notice this, shouting in shock, “Incoming!”

Roar!

The gushing acid unleashed a violent roar akin to a waterfall as multiple torrents slammed into the ground, raising waves no different to a tsunami, from multiple directions.

Bzzzz!

Suddenly, sparks of lightning flickered in the air, manifesting multiple gates, each positioned underneath the gushing acid torrent.

It was the entrance to the Velar Secret Realm, used to rapidly transport the acid away from the battlefield.

But of course, it was easier said than done to defend against his attack as the Apocalypse World Compass Carburettors moved the entrance to the Reality Marble, causing the acid to spill out from various other directions.

The portals to the Velar Secret Realm flickered across the battlefield, catching the spilling acid. It was a game of cat and mouse chase as whenever the portal missed, the acid fell on the army, eliciting horrid screams of pain as their flesh melted.

“Help! HELPPP!”

“Healer! I need a healer!”

“Erect defensive structures!”

Countless shouts resounded through the army as the cultivators scurried to avoid the acid while trying their best to head towards somewhere safe.

But no matter where they went, the acid dropped from the sky, resulting in varying degrees of injuries. Of course, the least injured were those from the Arena Realm, quickly dispersing through the region to evade the range of the acid drop.

“Haha! This is fun!” A powerhouse turned into a tiger and sprinted at its top speed, intending to climb up the nearby mountain.

Roar!

But suddenly, its feline senses went haywire, triggered nonstop, alerting it as the tiger came to an abrupt halt. It stared around, unable to sense any danger, but its bestial instincts were screaming for it to stop and retreat.

“Haha! After crossing this mountain, we can target other cities of the Gaider Realm.” An expert riding a zebra bellowed, leading a team of experts that followed him on their Human Martial Spirits, used as mounts.

“Wait! Don’t go that way!” The tiger shouted in a hurry, but it was too late already.

“Haha…” The expert riding the zebra was in a war high when suddenly, his body turned into dust, turning into dirt that mixed with the ground.

“What the…?” The ones who followed him were shocked by the abrupt change in events, coming to an abrupt stop. But, those closest to the cultivator with the zebra Martial Spirit were unable to stop in advance as they too crashed into a mysterious filament of sorts, with their bodies turning into dust instantly.

“Dust Wave?” Dwun frowned, alarmed as he realised a certain fact.

Compass Carburettor was able to use his Apocalypse World powers!

“Everyon…” He had just turned around, intending to alert the other Systems Hosts when he noticed his surroundings had changed.

It was a winding desert, covered with soft sand. A faint breeze continued to blow here, picking up the sand from time to time, creating dust storms.

The sand was soft enough that his feet began to sink into it slowly while Dwun felt the blinding heat emanated by the sun.

He then gazed forward, frowning in all seriousness, staring at the half-collapsed pearl pillar before him, located a couple dozen metres away. And seated atop it, resting his head on his hand was a jet-black figure, patiently waiting.

The jet-black figure calmly stared at Dwun, having not uttered any word. But in contrast, Dwun shuddered, experiencing difficulty in breathing, feeling like a hammer was pounding his chest nonstop.

‘Is t-this the M-Main Character?’ He felt his head spin a little, unable to maintain eye contact with the other party for more than a couple of seconds.

The stars glittering the jet-black figure seemed to force him into a hallucination and a variety of mental effects, preventing Dwun from being able to focus on his opponent.

He took a step forward, almost losing his balance. In his current state, treading on the desert sands was proving to be hundreds of times more difficult than what mortals faced in the same place.

“Dammit, I won’t be intimidated!” Dwun roared, using his fighting spirit to forcefully regain his focus, summoning his gauntlet as he unleashed a powerful sonic boom, causing all the sand in his vicinity to fly towards the jet-black figure, raising a violent dust storm, the resulting friction causing a dust explosion, also creating countless lightning bolts.

Cough! Cough!

Dwun coughed as he inhaled some of the dust, gazing forward when his eyes widened in absolute shock, “Impossible!”
