Just as Kim thought that Jack was simply guessing things, Jack spoke once again. "I know that the ace group was created by the force organization. That is something that cannot be hidden from me. As for the aim of the creation of your group, I don't think I have to say it loud, right?"
When he said those words, the vigilance that Kim possessed previously suddenly dissipated. At this moment, he realized that this young man in front of him was not simple.
It seemed that he had already realized that it was actually the plan of the ace group to take over the entire Stronghold. It was just that this plan of theirs was kind of difficult to complete in a short period of time. And that was the reason why they were taking their own sweet-time, but they were not that far away from completing the objective.
But still, there was one thing that he himself did not know. That was the fact that, although they were working for the Force organization, they did not know the aim of the Force organization, and why they had decided to target the Devin stronghold.
There was a time that he had decided to ask that person who had been sent over from the Force organization, but the moment that he mentioned something like this, he was told that the next time that he asked a question like that, he was going to be killed.
He might have taken It as a joke, but just the killing intent that that person possessed as he looked at him, he was sure that in case he tried to insist on the matter, he might end up getting killed. But, he was not ready to die at this point. With the achievements that he had already gotten right now, he was not willing to abandon the world just like that.
And right now, it seemed that Jack already possessed the secret that the Force organization was hiding. That implied that there was nothing that the ace group could do. This was a matter that involved the Force organization. If whatever plan it was that they were having was already revealed, that implied that the Force organization might end up stopping to support the ace group.
It was not a secret that the force organization was not supposed to be involved with the matters concerning the other strongholds. It might be involved with the other small strongholds, but for those big strongholds that already possessed a name, the Force organization was not supposed to be intervening in any matter concerning them.
So, if information about them interfering with the matters concerning the Devin stronghold, this was going to cause a lot of trouble for them. This was something that all those people within the ace group that possessed high positions knew about it.
But of course, they did not try to reveal any information about the fact that the force organization was planning something. They were sure that the moment that they tried to do something like that, they would be eliminated.
At the end of the day, what was the role of this person that was sent over? It was not just to make sure that the other forces within the stronghold did not attack them, but instead, it was also to make sure that nobody tried to reveal the secret of the force organization.
For the last part of what he had said, Jack was just bluffing. He had received full information about the ace group. That implied that whatever information the ace group possessed, Jack knew all of it.
But since the ace group did not know about the aim of the force organization, that implied that even Jack did not know about that. But, it was not as if Kim was capable of knowing that Jack was just bluffing.
"What do you want?" Kim asked grimly. He was not sure on how to handle this matter anymore. Jack already possessed the information about the fact that the one that was backing up the ace group was the Force organization.
At this point, the most optimal solution would be to eliminate him. But still, he was not sure if Jack was the only person that possessed the information about the cooperation between the ace group and the force organization.
Other than that, there was another mystery that he did not know. That was the background that Jack possessed. For Jack to be able to possess this information, that implied that he did not come from a simple background. He had to be from a big force, for him to be able to possess that information.
"Are you trying to tell me to repeat myself? I thought that I just said that I wanted to acquire the entire ace group. I have my own plans here, and that is the reason why I want to take over your group. You are not going to resist, are you?" Jack asked with raised brows as he looked at Kim.
Kim gritted his teeth as he did not know how to respond to this matter now. If everything was normal, if Jack did not know anything about what was actually going on with the ace group, he would have not cared much about what Jack was going to say, and neither was he going to agree to Jack taking over the ace group.
But now, with the information that Jack possessed, it was clear that if he made the same decision as what he was going to make before, things were going to get ugly. He was capable of making decisions for the ace group, though not all of them, but he did not even have a chance of making a decision for the Force organization.
Just as he was hesitating, Jack turned around and looked towards the entrance of the top level floor of the building where they were in. There, he saw that there was a man who seemed to be in his late 40s coming into this floor.
Of course, this person's appearance was like that of a person in his late forties. But of course, with his power level, it was clear that he was not actually a person in his late 40s. Since even with his current power level he looked like a person in his late 40s, that implied that he was way older than Ezekiel.
The man was wearing a casual shirt, with several of the buttons unbuttoned, exposing his chest muscles. Other than that, he possessed a muscular stature, although he was not that tall, only about 176 cm tall.
As he walked onto this floor, he looked extremely arrogant, as if he did not care much about what others thought of him or wanted to do. It was as if the entire world belonged to him.
When he arrived, even Kim who was still deep in thought, wondering what he was supposed to do, looked over. And when he noticed the man, his expression shifted.
Although he was not happy with the presence of this person here, but still, he was extremely relieved. This was the person that was sent over by the force organization to make sure that his stabilized the position of the ace group.
But still, this person was so arrogant, always making demands about this and that. This was something that had pissed off a lot of people within the ace group, but there was nothing that they could do considering that they were not stronger than he was. Additionally, he possessed a bigger background as compared to them.
"Can someone tell me what is going on here?" The man who had just arrived asked without even looking at the two. But instead, he was looking around the building, as if there was something very interesting as compared to the two people that were present on this floor.
Even before Kim could say anything, Jack spoke up. "I was expecting you to come over. Although the information that I possess about you is actually true, but looking at you in reality, I can say that it seems that the information that I received is kind of underestimating your arrogance. Even though you have not done anything just yet, I can still smell the arrogance that is in you."
When he heard what Jack had said, the man looked at Jack. His expression was calm, and the arrogance on his face did not disappear at all. But instead, it seemed to intensify after hearing what Jack had just said.
"Of course I have to be arrogant. Do you think that I don't have the capital to be arrogant? I do have it. And since I have it, why should I hide my arrogance? In a puny place like this, I can be as arrogant as I want to be." The man whose name was Jeff stated with disdain clear in his voice.
Ever since he came to this stronghold, he could finally do whatever he wanted. It was not as if there was anybody that was capable of preventing him from doing it. As for the members of the other families, although he was not taking action directly, it was not actually because he was afraid that the other families were going to band together.
Instead, he could not make any drastic moves because if he did so, he was going to attract the attention of the other forces that were on the same level with the force organization. If whatever they were doing here was revealed, it was definitely going to be trouble some for the force organization.
"Well, some people only believe that they do have the capital of being arrogant, simply because they were living under a rock. But once they come out, it is time that they realize that they are actually nothing." Jack stated simply, as if what he was saying was actually a fact.
