Chapter 511 Upgraded Ads
"Where is the rest of the group? We were sent over to give you an invitation." The man who was wearing an armor with two genetic structures on his chest stated with an amiable expression on his face.
It was clear that he had not come over to do things with force, but, he was here to extend an invitation. But still, Samantha was not surprised after hearing this.
It was true that Jack had actually asked them not to spread the information about the results of the tests. But, who could prevent the information from spreading within the same organization that they were using to register themselves?
So, it was not a surprise that the people from the big stronghold immediately decided to make a move the moment that they realized that there were actually two superhumans at the age of 20.
Until now, the age of 25 was the best record for the youngest person to be able to reach the superhuman level. But now, there was yet another person, not just one, but two of them who had managed to reach the superhuman level at the age of 20.
Additionally, there was Jack who was actually at the second stage of the superhuman level. That implied that, he must have gotten to the superhuman level earlier than the age of 20. That was a record that was the first in the history of the human race.
More than that, there was also a fact that Jack's genetic structure was completely different from normal. It was a mixture of several colors, all of them combined proportionally.
"I'm sorry, but this is not the decision that I can make." Samantha responded. Ivy on the other hand was also surprised that there was actually a group of people that had come over to look for them. But still, since she was not the target, she did decided to stand on the side, and only help in case she was needed.
"We were already expecting something like this. So, miss Samantha, why don't you inform Jack and the rest of the group that we would like to meet them personally? We have an offer, and I'm sure that they will not be disappointed with it." Maintaining his smile, the stage 2 superhuman stated.
Samantha was not surprised at the fact that the man in front of her knew her name. After all, it was not a secret to the top echelons of the organizations present within the stronghold, that she was previously a guardian of the Butterfly organization.
"I'm also afraid to inform you that I cannot make the decision. If they decide to come over or not, that is their decision, and I definitely cannot make any changes in case they don't want to come over." Samantha responded.
She knew Jack. During the time that she was together with him back in the normal world, she had already realized that Jack was a person with great ambitions. Additionally, he had stated that he wanted to begin an organization of his own within the stronghold domain.
It might be difficult for just anybody to be able to start an organization of their own, and make it big. But, Jack with his unknown background, it was definitely going to be a walk in the park, right?
At least, that was what Samantha thought. And nevertheless, with that reasoning, she believed that there was no way that Jack was going to agree to an invitation by an organization. After all, it had to be that he possessed a background of his own, and that was how he was capable of reaching the current level that he was in.
As for the ability of making Celine a superhuman, she related that to his strange genetic structure that possessed several colors at the same time.
"I understand that. But, can you connect us to him?" The man continued with the same smile on his face. It was as if he was expecting everything the way that it was progressing. So, he did not have much of a change of his expression during the entire conversation.
"I have already informed you that I don't have the authority of doing what you want. So, I cannot help you with that. Moreover, Jack stated that he wants to be a low key person. You should be able to know that he is a superhuman, currently at the second stage.
So, with his capability, he surely should be capable of taking over the entire organizations within this stronghold. But, he has not done so. That implies that, he is a person that doesn't want to be disturbed unless necessary." Samantha stated. If possible, she really did not want to continue this conversation.
She was currently at a disadvantage. Not only was she in the territory of the other party, but, the other party was also way stronger than she was. So, she was hoping that they would not do anything, crossing her limits.
The eyes of the man with three genetic structures on his armor narrowed. But, he did not say anything. Instead, he remained silent, waiting for the response of the stage two superhuman.
"This is necessary Miss Samantha. I hope that you understand that we are not from Stronghold number 17, but in fact, we are from the headquarters of The Force organization. We are here under the order of the second in command in the entire Force organization." No longer smiling, the stage two superhuman stated with a serious expression on his face.
There was no way that he was going to agree to fail a mission like this. After all, according to what he himself had seen, just ignoring the insistence of the second in command of The Force organization, he himself knew how important it was to be able to acquire a person like Jack into the organization.
It was just that, he could not understand the reason why they had decided to put aside Celine. Nevertheless, he did not question that reason, so, he was here with only one mission, to make sure that he went back together with Jack.
Samantha on the other hand did not respond. After all, what could she say? Additionally, if possible, she really would have wanted to walk out of here. But, the group was standing in front of her, in front of the only known exit and entrance into the room.
Ivy on the other hand was also quite curious. She did not know the current strength that Samantha possessed. But still, she suspected that Samantha was currently way above herself.
But still, in front of this group, she could do nothing at all. Of course, they had to be something, or some reason that prevented her from taking care of the group in front of her. And that was, they had to be stronger than her, or the background that they possessed was way better than what Samantha possessed.
She did not recognize the armor that the two people in front were wearing. But still, she was able to tell that the three people that were behind the two, each one of them wearing an armor with 10 stars, that implied that they were currently eight stars ahead of her.
And, currently, they did not even talk. That implied that, their position was low, just looking at their stance. Still, she could not help but wonder what level Samantha was currently in.
When the man realized that Samantha was not going to respond, he got a little impatient. After all, he was a superhuman, at the second stage, but, he was actually talking politely to an ordinary human. But still, this ordinary human did not appreciate this, but instead, she was just ignoring what he had said.
"Since it seems that you don't want to cooperate, then, we have no choice but to contact Jack and his group personally." The man stated.
Currently, they possessed Jack's user ID. So, it was not impossible for them to be able to contact Jack. But still, they had decided against that, only going to use to that as a last resort if they did not find where Jack and his group were.
This was a method that they had decided to use in order to show their sincerity in the matter. But now, since they had already met up with Samantha, and she refused to arrange a meeting between them, then, they could only resort to that.
They were given a timeline on which they were supposed to complete the mission. So, they could no longer continue wasting the time. After all, who could guarantee that the information about Jack and Celine would not be leaked?
After the man finished speaking, he began pressing on his communication device. And not long after, he made a call.
After a few seconds, the call was answered. "Who is it?" Jack's voice came from the other end. Of course, he was a little irritated because he was interrupted in the middle of something, and other than that, he didn't remember giving anybody else other than those that belonged to his group his user ID.
So, he guessed that this might actually be related to the place where they had registered as members of the stronghold domain.
"My name is Clinton, and I have an offer for you. We would like to give you an invitation, something that you will definitely like. So, I wonder if Mr Jack is interested so that you can organize a meeting between us for a talk?" The stage 2 superhuman questioned.
"An offer? I never knew that inside the stronghold, instead of the ads coming on when one is online, they have actually leveled up to making calls." Jack stated, completely dumbfounding everybody that was listening to the conversation.
