Chapter 480 Are They Trying to Kill Us?
"Although I am not sure, but, I saw this guy coming over at the mercenaries land. If my guess is not wrong, they should have already entered the stronghold domain." Ivy stated.
(Note: This group of mercenaries knows that this place is the stronghold domain because they are involved with the Panthers organization. Still, they only mention this name when they are alone.)
Daniel looked at his sister with a complicated expression on his face. He wanted to doubt what his sister had said, but still, he had never seen her saying something that was considered a joke during a serious mission.
"Are you sure about this? You know, the one that gave me this mission this time is so serious about the mission. So, no matter what, we have to make sure that we will complete the mission." Although he did not want to doubt his sister, he could not help but ask, just to make sure.
Ivy looked at her brother, completely displeased at the fact that this guy had actually thought that she was joking around.

Of course, until now, Daniel did not understand that the person that he had met with previously was actually the leader of the strongest organization present in the entire stronghold. But, even if he knew, It was not going to change what he was thinking about at the moment.
"It seems that there is something special about this guy. He has to be related to the stronghold in one way or the other. Otherwise, I don't think that they would send us to investigate him." Daniel stated.
But still, what he had just said immediately contradicted itself. After all, from what he was saying, the other party was related to the stronghold. And if that was the case, what was the use of sending them, normal humans, after a person from the stronghold?
If they were exposed to be targeting him, wouldn't they be killed? They themselves knew how strong the people from the stronghold were. So, they could not dare to underestimate anyone related to the stronghold.

You tell me, if we continue searching outside the Stronghold domain, and the person that we are searching for is inside the stronghold domain, what are we going to find?
Nothing! The mission is going to be a failure, and I do believe that if we fail the mission, things are not going to go well for us."
Daniel looked at his sister helplessly. Although from time to time she was aggressive, but, there was one thing that he had to give her, she was smarter than he was.
And until now, from what she had said, there was nothing wrong about it. If they were actually sent to look for someone outside of the stronghold, then, just going to take them some time to cover the entire of Azima.
But, that was not something impossible for them to do. After all, the connections that he currently possessed were not to be underestimated. But all the connections would be useless if the person that they were looking for was not in Azima.
They were given a period of one month to complete the mission. But, from the looks of it, it was going to be impossible.
Still, there was something that Daniel believed. He was given the mission today, and according to Ivy, the person came in the previous day. That implied that, the one that had given him the mission did not actually know that this person had come inside the stronghold domain.
Thinking of this, Daniel looked at the group and stated, "Rather than going outside of the stronghold domain, we are going to do the search here. Try moving around, asking for this person. As long as we get the information about him, that will be the end of our mission."
Daniel had already thought things through during this short period. If the other party was being looked for inside the stronghold, it might actually be that this person did not want to go inside the stronghold.
Rather than that, that person might stay inside the city. So, they were going to do the search inside here, and if they did not find him, he was going to think of another way around the issue.
As for the image, everyone of them was given an image through their phones. Since they usually went out of the Stronghold most of the time, they mostly used the advanced cell phones that were found inside this city.
The group did not move together. Rather, they spread around in a group of two, going to look for the information. And, it was not long before they finally found the information that they were looking for.
It turned out that the group arrived here in the city the previous day. They stayed here overnight, before leaving in the morning. As for where they had gone to, it was inside the stronghold!
Daniel did not understand anything now. Now that the other party had gone inside the stronghold, did that imply that the mission was no longer feasible? After all, how were they going to investigate about a person if he was not there?
All the information that they were going to get was history, and there might be a lot of information that they might miss if the real person was not there.
"Now that we know that this person has already gone inside the stronghold, I am going back inside to inform the one that gave out the mission." Immediately after saying that, Daniel left the group inside the mansion that was owned by the mercenary group, and headed in the direction of the stronghold.
