Chapter 474 I'll Kill Him!
"Can you tell me the real reason why you shared the information about Celine with me?" Derek sensed it deep within, yet he yearned for Alicia to articulate it herself.
"Of course, I wanted you to shift the target from me to her. Additionally, I hoped you'd remove her from Jack's life, allowing me the opportunity to be with him," Alicia responded candidly, concealing nothing.
Now that everything had been laid bare, there was no need for her to feign goodness. Their relationship had never been strong from the outset; they were merely acquaintances despite having known each other for some time.
Derek's smoldering anger intensified. He gazed at Alicia in silence. Though he desired to unleash his anger, he understood that directing it at her was unjust.
"Very well. Regardless, it doesn't matter. I'm going to confront Jack, and I'll ensure he meets his end. Once he's gone, we'll see whom you truly love. Furthermore, I intend to inform my father of this situation. Whether or not you agree to our marriage is inconsequential now, as I'll marry you regardless," Derek declared fiercely.
Previously, he had desired a harmonious relationship with Alicia and didn't want to force her into marriage. Hence, he had attempted to persuade her to consent.
In any case, he believed that once he spoke to his father, the matter would be settled. If his father consented, arranging their marriage would be straightforward.
Derek was well aware of Alicia's parents' inclinations. They prioritized the family's interests over personal ones. Despite their affection for Alicia, they were likely to consent to her marriage to him.
After all, he was a guarantee that her life was going to be good in the future considering that not only was he strong, but even his background was a strong enough to match hers.
"You're going to kill Jack? If you really believe that you have the capabilities, then go ahead and try. But once you die, everything will be good for me." Alicia stated, clearly not intimidated by the threat that Derek had placed on Jack's head.
But still, there was something that she did not like about what Derek had said. This guy claimed that he was actually going to talk to his father so that the two of them could get married?
Of course, Alicia knew that this was a possibility. If it was Derek's father that decided to make a move, then, her mother was definitely going to agree to that.
As for David, although she did not care about him, but at least, she thought that he was way better than Derek. At least, he was not going around messing around with other people, he was more reserved.
It was just that she never had a good feeling towards David, and he did not have any other more solid reason to why she never liked him. Still, since she did not like him, that was going to be it. She did not have to give anyone an explanation on why she did not like him.

"You hate me, huh? That's okay too. Still, it doesn't matter what you do, but the two of us are going to get married. As for that Jack, he has already crossed my limits. He is not only involved with Celine, the woman that I have already set my eyes on, but, he is also actually involved with Alicia, my very first target.
For this reason, I have more than enough reason to kill you. So, I hope that you don't blame me for this. Blame yourself for not having a good background enough to protect you. And more than that, getting involved with the two ladies that I want." Derek muttered obsessively.
It was obvious that he had already lost his mind at this point. He no longer cared about the consequences, but to him, as long as he took care of Jack, everything would be okay.
By eliminating Jack, he would be able to remove a man inside Celine's life. Other than that, he would also be capable of making Alicia lack a target that she was directing her love to.

Celine is not someone that Jack deserves to be together with. I'm sure that even her background will not agree to that. So, since they were living in the normal world, that implies that most probably, Celine's background doesn't know about the matter.
Additionally, even if Celine's background wants to deal with me, it is not as if I am that easy to bully. Moreover, I'm going to make arrangements so that I can get engaged with Alicia. With our two families combined, even if Celine's family is big, it is definitely not going to be capable of dealing with us."
The old man remained silent after hearing what Derek had said. But still, he knew that the matters were not just as simple as Derek had claimed to be.
