Chapter 15: A New Beginning in Life
Natalia deliberately didn’t pick up Vasili’s call.
When she was anxiously looking for Vasili, he did the same thing all night long. Now, she wanted him to have a taste of that torture.
“Where are we going now?”Natalia looked out of the car window curiously.
“Home, of course.”Alex enunciated clearly. His usual tone made Natalia llush and her heart beat faster.
“Then… could you accompany me to a place first?”
“Of course.”
Natalia pursed her lips and smiled. She tilted her head to look at Alex, and once again, she was lost in her thoughts for him.
There was a small red mole on his ear, which looked like rolling blood under the contrast of Alex’s fair skin. It was bright red.
She subconsciously raised her hand, wanting to touch it.
Just as she raised her hand in the air, Alex suddenly turned his head and looked into Natalia’s eyes.
“Dear Mrs. Bruch, you’re outside now. If you want to do anything to me, I’ll let you do whatever you want when we get home.”
Natalia blushed and turned her head away.
When it came to teasing people, it seemed that she would never be able to defeat Alex.
According to the address provided by Natalia, the car stopped in a peach blossom forest. Not far away, there was a new-style building that looked like a restaurant.
“The foie gras here is very delicious.”Natalia got out of the car and reached out to hold Alex’s hand. It was unexpectedly cold, and she could not help but shiver.
Alex saw it and wanted to withdraw his hand, but he found that Natalia was holding him even tighter.
“Honey, it’s not appropriate to let go of your partner’s hand here,”Natalia said gently.
Alex looked at the waiter who was standing at the side and smiled slowly. He took the initiative to hold Natalia’s wrist.
The two of them watched the peach blossoms on the top floor and enjoyed the delicious food. Vasili was prevented from entering the door downstairs.
There was only one group of guests received here every day. No matter who the others were, they would be blocked outside. This was also what Natalia had planned in advance.
She had deliberately revealed the news that she was here to eat. She was certain that Vasili would follow her. Now that she saw him suffer downstairs, her heart was even more delighted.
This little thought naturally could not escape Alex’s eyes. Alex smiled slightly and was very satisfied with this.
Looking at the delicious foie gras on the plate, Alex’s icy heart melted bit by bit.
His new wife was indeed a treasure bestowed by God. She always surprised him, and he was looking forward to the future.
After dinner, Natalia took the initiative to ask Alex to help her move.
The two of them were already legal official partners, so it was natural for them to live together.
Alex naturally agreed.
The two of them returned to Natalia’s previous residence, which was a single-family villa that Vasili arranged for her in the name of the company.
There was very little furniture in it. It looked very empty, giving off a desolate feeling.
Under Natalia’s lead, the two of them went to the bedroom. The decorations here were somewhat more popular. The closet was filled with photos of Natalia’s model champion from back then. The entire wall was neatly lined with trophies and medals.
These were all Natalia’s former glory.
Alex reached out his hand and took the last picture of Natalia winning the championship before she left the altar. The woman in the picture was smiling like a flower, and her eyes were like water, which could not help but move people’s hearts.
He said again, “Natalia, you will be the most dazzling new star, and you will never fall.”
Natalia smiled gently and nodded affirmatively.
From the beginning to the end, except for Bailey, she seemed to have only Alex by her side, who always believed in her and supported her.
Natalia hugged a teddy bear from the bedside. It was about the same height as her and hugged her like two cute little bears.
“Alright, Alex, let’s go.”
After taking the Little Bear, Natalia was about to leave. Alex looked at the honor on the front wall and looked at Natalia in confusion.
Natalia smiled slightly. “Those are all the honors of the past. You said that I would become the most dazzling new star. I want to throw away the past and start a new life.”
Natalia spoke freely, but Alex could feel her faint sadness.
He did not know how to comfort Natalia. After thinking for a while, he used his instinct.
Alex reached out and covered Natalia’s eyes. Taking the opportunity, he took out a bottle of medicine from his chest and quickly swallowed a blood pill.
Almost instantly, Alex buried his head and sealed Natalia’s delicate lips.
The fragrance of Natalia’s body fascinated Alex, and the kiss that was meant to appease her became more and more intense…
