Chapter 226 Kraken

A giant black Kraken emerged from the sea, its enormous tentacles crawling onto the ship. Captain Mavis shouted for his crew to grab their guns and shoot the monster.

"Shoot that damn octopus!"

The crew ran onto the deck with AK-47s in hand, firing dozens of bullets at the tentacles that wrapped around the hull.

The raspy voice of Captain Mavis echoed through the air as he shouted the battle call. The crew ran onto the deck with an AK-47 in hand. Pulling the trigger, the muzzle spewed out dozens of bullets with a flash, spraying the giant tentacles that would wrap around the hull.

Dozens of adventurers helped the crew remove the tentacles before the Kraken sank the yacht. The Templars, crew, and adventurers united to defeat the Kraken. Amidst the tense situation, Viktor was glued to the sea monster. This battle was different from fighting Chimera or the gargoyles in the Abyss. He couldn't escape without a ship, so he had to kill the Kraken to save himself.

"Viktor! What should we do?" Jessie shouted and shook his body in panic.

"Calm down," Viktor replied. "Find Viez and Liza. Stay with them during the fight!"

After nodding, Jessie ran amidst the chaos to do as Viktor asked while he laid eyes on the Kraken. He looked around, searching for the right place and moment to transform into a metal guardian.

What did I tell you? Something is waiting for us. Now look at the consequences, hehe.

Viktor clicked his tongue. "Yeah-yeah"

Suddenly, someone tapped on his shoulder. Captain Mavis and several members behind him were seen carrying a harpoon—a special spear with a sharp tip and equipped with a trigger system—three meters long.

"My apology, Young Master. We currently need more people to help us install this weapon against the Kraken." Captain Mavis sounded serious with his words. "Please!"

"Uh, yeah. But—"

"Thank you!"

Before he could finish his answer, Viktor was dragged away as dozens of crew members followed their captain. They sprinted through the lapping seawater and tentacle lashes all the way to the bow. There, they quickly set up the harpoon, and Viktor could only watch the battle as he helped them by distributing bolts and ropes.

The adventurers and crew seemed overwhelmed by the rampaging Kraken. The giant tentacles wrapped around and swept away everything on the deck. A hard shock hit the ship, and several crew members fell overboard when they were spraying the tentacles. Meanwhile, the adventurers, with their melee weapons, tried to tear and slice the Kraken.

However, the Kraken was too powerful and large, with its long arms dancing across the deck and shaking the ship. In the midst of the chaotic situation, a group of adventurers clad in armor that glistened in the sunlight arrived. A black-haired man raised a sword into the air.

Viktor recognized them At first glance. Especially the short-haired woman in silver armor, Anna.

"Heaven's Will! Attack!"

Radcliff and his guild members jumped into the battle. And Anna led a squad into the chaos without any hesitation on her face. They harmoniously worked together. Some assisted the ship's crew; some assisted the adventurers and Templars. The focus of their attack was on the tentacles.

Alone, Radcliff wielded a shining sword, slashing at the giant tentacles.

Slash! Slash! Slash!

"Krieeeerrrrk!"

Screams of pain echoed as the glowing blade sliced through one of the tentacles. Radcliff seized the moment, ordering his men to attack the other tentacles wrapped around the ship while he distracted the Kraken. Anna, along with her squad, darted to the bridge, removing the tentacles wrapped around it.

Meanwhile, Captain Mavis and his men managed to install them on the bow of the ship.

"Bring me a spear!" exclaimed Captain Mavis.

One of his men attached the spear to the harpoon, and Captain Mavis laid his eyes on the aim. His finger pulled the trigger, and the wind whistled as the iron spear shot out at high speed.

"Srrrriiiekek."

Viktor saw the Kraken scream when the iron spear pierced its eye.

"Haha! Die, you damn octopus!" Captain Mavis cursed.

The combination of the crew and the adventurers managed to make the Kraken release one tentacle after another from the ship. They fought fiercely, especially Radcliff. Without the slightest streak of fear on his face, Radcliff broke through the death lash of tentacles that wreaked havoc on the deck.

While avoiding the oncoming attacks, Radcliff drew close to the Kraken. When he jumped over the edge of the deck, his sword gave off a bright light, hot and blinding, and then he landed on the gigantic sea monster.

"Shrieeek!" The Kraken screeched after the sword pierced its body.

Raging in pain at the ocean, the Kraken suddenly pointed its mouth at the ship and spewed black liquid. Those on board screamed as the black ink flooded the ship. Some of the people on board fell over.

and one of them was Viktor.

"Young Master!" Captain Mavis screamed for his master while tightly holding the harpoon. His face turned pale.

After squirting the ship with black ink, the Kraken entangled the ship once again. Its rampage grew more ferocious. Radcliff quickly jumped off before the lash of the deadly tentacles took his life.

The Guild Master landed back on the deck, and he called all his men together.

"What should we do, Chief?"" Anna said. Her lips were trembling from being soaked and battered by the sea breeze.

"Send the entire Sky Realm to secure the side decks and some Earth Realm to rescue any crews or adventurers who fall overboard."

Anna nodded. But before she could do so, a large tentacle and seawater came from the side, sweeping across the deck of the ship. Before it hit them, Radcliff quickly swung his sword vertically and split it in two.

Splat!

However, a black shadow appeared above their heads, like another tentacle about to hit them from above. Radcliff had just withstood the attack; he was not ready for another. As the man was ready to push Anna to save her, a gleaming golden figure of armor crashed into that tentacle.

Bam!

The tentacle veered off course, missed them, and fell into the water. Not long after, someone landed in front of them.

"Metal Guardian!" Anna exclaimed.
