Sensing An Tian's questioning gaze, Noah answered, "Jake."
Jake looked at him in shock. He always thought that Noah didn't remember their first kiss. He thought the kiss shared in Noah's home in China must be the first one for him. If so, before that Noah had been with countless girls and Jake had seen him kissing them.
That means this guy was acting all these years that he didn't remember it.
"You..." Jake could not come to say a word to ask him why he pretended to not remember it while Noah didn't look at him at all.
On their trip after the graduation, Noah fought with him to ask who was with his first kiss but Jake didn't tell him, thinking Noah might not like to know it as he was into girls and it might affect their friendship. Lu Lijun looked at his two friends where Noah simply looked away while Jake looked back at Lu Lijun.
Lu Lijun was the sole witness of their first kiss and he too thought Noah didn't remember it. On their, after graduation trip, Noah asked Lu Lijun with whom Jake had their first kiss but Lu Lijun didn't answer as it was up to Jake to tell him or not.
He didn't answer Noah but told him to ask Jake. That day Lu Lijun wished for Jake to tell him and these two to face their feelings for each other clearly but happened the opposite. Jake didn't tell him and the two ended up fighting. Lu Lijun had the same question as Jake that why Noah pretended to not know it all along.
There was a complete silence that no one disturbed. An Tian smirked playfully as he thought he had given enough time for these two processes over what they were thinking.
"Jake," An Tian called him.
Getting out of the daze, Jake looked at his brother and answered, "Noah."
Noah was calm all along as he knew Jake would question him and he would have to answer him.
"Fine, and about me, it was the same girl my first love who I broke up with before leaving the UK," An Tian answered.
"Why did you not take her name even once," Jiang Yang asked.
An Tian smiled playfully, "I told you I don't even remember her face now let alone her name. What is the need to pull someone in here who must be happy somewhere with her husband and kids?"
"Really? She has kids as well?" Jiang Yang asked.
"My friend, you are forgetting we are in our mid-thirties and I left her when I was just twenty. So many years passed by and not everyone is like us to stay single forever," An Tian replied, "Anyways I feel like we are talking about someone who doesn't need to be talked about here."
"An Tian," Lu Feng called, "The questions you ask don't let you reveal anything about you. You sly fox."
"See, my life is nothing interesting, so there is nothing to answer," he commented, "Okay let's get back to the game.
"Just don't ask when that kiss happened?" Jiang Yang commented.
"Let's see," An Tian said and looked at the others.
Lu Feng and Noah gave him displeased glares as the two were not happy about this game.
"So, when was that kiss- explained." An Tian said.
Noah sighed and looked at An Tian, "Was this game made especially keeping me and Jake in mind?"
"If you think about it carefully, it was targeted towards almost everyone. Sometimes it's good to get things out that are buried uselessly," he looked at Lu Feng, "Isn't it my friend? Don't you feel light from all that weight?"
"You shut up and continued your game," Lu Feng warned.
"Then answer it," An Tian spoke, not minding his friend's anger.
Lu Feng : It was ten years back before I went to city S to continue my business. It was...," Lu Feng exhaled and spoke with much effort, "...Parting gesture...." he stopped, not willing to say more.
Not just him but even Jiang Yuyan was silent. Though Lu Lijun didn't mind it she still felt that awkwardness as they were brothers after all.
"That's like my brave friend. Weren't you trying to explain it to your brother when he stopped you? See I gave you a chance to say it. Am I not a good friend?"
"Fuck you," Lu Feng frowned. If it was not for this game, Lu Feng wouldn't have to say it and there was no need for any explanation.
"You can keep it for when you return home. I know you have been starving since you came here," An Tian commented.
Lu Feng ignored him and An Tian looked at Lu Lijun, "Junior Lu? What about you?"
Lu Lijun glanced at Jiang Yuyan who looked back at him as if they knew when it was. Lu Lijun now didn't feel good about it as he knew he had forced that kiss on her. Not just that but even after so many times, he did it. He knew he had lost his mind and regretted it but...
...But if he had not done it and had not acted brave and bold, could he have even gotten her attention. She would have simply treated him like any other family member and only as her responsibility. She would have never looked at him as a man, the one who dared to love her and wish to be there for her.
There was a regret but there was an assurance as well that it was needed at that moment.
"It was the night when I broke up my engagement with Liwei and ran away, Yuyan came looking for me and it happened," he replied.
Everyone heard it as they clearly remember that day when there was chaos in the Lu Family and Wen family and how worried they were for Lu Lijun.
"Why do I feel like you are regretting it," An Tian spoke.
"A little regret is there because it was forced," Lu Lijun said as he looked at Jiang Yuyan whose eyes told him that- 'It's fine.'
"A little?" An Tian questioned.
Lu Lijun nodded, "If I had not done it, we wouldn't be together now."
"Okay, acceptable. You need to be harsh sometimes to melt the hardest iceberg," An Tian looked at Jiang Yuyan as he said it.
This time she was calm as in the end she was happy with Lu Lijun now. She answered the question as it was her turn, "It was when I and Lu Qiang collided accidentally in the corridor of the mall and I fell on him and it ended like that."
"Wait when? You didn't tell me this. Till now I thought my sister's first kiss was in that gazebo at grandparents Lu's wedding anniversary party."
"That was the second time," she replied.
Jiang Yang Frowned, "And here I was happy that I had witnessed my sister's first kiss. Gosh, you broke my heart now."
"Brother...." She didn't know what to say to her drama queen brother.
