Instead of taking Zhou Liying to some restaurant, Mu Yuehan brought her to his penthouse. He wanted to fill her tummy by himself. He knew some dishes which he could pull effectively without wasting much time.
"I am impressed with your skills," Zhou Liying was now seated on the bar stool on the kitchen island and was looking at Mu Yuehan. He was mixing pasta in the sauce and was making garlic bread at the same time.
With the sleeves of his black shirt folded up, hands mixing the pasta, he looked very handsome and sexy. She felt as if she was watching some cooking show.
"Haven't you heard that the way to your girl's heart is from her stomach, I am just testing this saying?" Mu Yuehan smiled at her and served the now prepared dishes in serving bowls.
"I am feeling hungrier after inhaling this aroma and seeing the presentation." She mumbled greedily and hungrily.
Mu Yuehan placed the dishes on the tray. He also placed one of the best wine bottles in his collection and two wine glasses on it.
He took the tray to the patio on the balcony. He decided to have dinner on the balcony while enjoying the rain and looking out at the city. His penthouse gave one of the best views of the city.
Zhou Liying followed after him like a moth, and once they were seated on their seats, Zhou Liying shamelessly dug into the food.
"Careful, it's hot." Mu Yuehan warned but he was too late. Zhou Liying had burnt her tongue, but she did not care.
"Tasty, very tasty," she took another bite. Mu Yuehan shook his head.
Guess what, his girl was very hungry, he thought. What he did not know was that, his girl liked his cooking and was now enjoying the food cooked by him.
The environment on the balcony was very romantic. Dim lights of the city, drizzling and music of rain was making it cosy. Two love birds very enjoying their dinner over glasses of wine.
"Yuehan, I want to go and dance in the rain." Mu Yuehan's eyes widened when he heard her and saw her looking at the rain with craving.

But Zhou Liying was not the one to listen to anyone. She ignored the warning of Mu Yuehan. He tried to hold her but she pushed him away and sneakily ran away in the rain. She spread her arms like a bird and let the cold water of rain wash over her.
She shivered because of the cold water. Goosebumps erupted on her skin.
"Shit," Mu Yuehan cursed and ran after her, until the area which was covered by roof. He did not dare to enter in the rain. He called for Zhou Liying.
"Lili, be a good girl and come back. Otherwise, you will get cold."
"I am not coming back." She poked out her tongue and teased him. "I love rain." She started to twirl.
Zhou Liying started to play in the rainwater. She was enjoying this weather very much. She loved the rain. The water from the rain was so pure, and it made the environment so pleasant.
She jumped, splashing the water. She was laughing like a kid. She also tried to collect some water in her palms.
Mu Yuehan shook his head. He knew she was not going back by herself, so he too stepped in the rain after her. He shivered badly when rainwater hit him.
"How is she able to withstand this cold water?" Mu Yuehan mumbled with concern and ran toward her.
He had taken military training, he had trained his body to withstand any weather but still, he felt a little cold. He could not understand, how she was dancing in rain in this weather.
"Sweetie, come with me, please." Mu Yuehan begged and back hugged her.
"No, no, no," she mumbled childishly and rotated in his arms, to look at his face. She shyly smiled at him.
They both looked into the eyes of each other and their breaths hitched. They both remembered their first night at Juju Island, yes both, Zhou Liying too.
Zhou Liying at that moment reminded Mu Yuehan of herself from that day four years back, on that day too, she was wearing a red dress, and was drenched in rain like this.
That night was still the best night of his life. That day he got completed when Zhou Liying fully accepted him. No other night could compete with their first night.
The breathing rate of Zhou Liying picked up when she looked at Mu Yuehan. Many vivid images started to play in her mind. Images of Mu Yuehan drenched in rain, images of herself drenched in rain, or kissing the hell out of him.
She was always scared of images from her past. She had tried to push them away, but not today. She breathed hard, and to control the anxiety building in her stomach, she threw herself in the arms of Mu Yuehan and kissed him hard.
He froze in his place with her sudden kiss. His eyes budged out from their socket. He sucked in a long breath before kissing her back. He wrapped his arms around her torso. He was shocked when he realised how cold she was, she was freezing.
Her lips had turned blue. Her face was pale. There was a shiver in her body.
He cursed and broke the kiss. "We will continue in the room." Before Zhou Liying could fight him, he picked her up in his arms and made their way to his room.
He felt relief washing over him when they left the balcony and entered the heated lobby. He looked at Zhou Liying, she was shivering. He shook his head.
Who could say that the lady in his arms was twenty-six years old lady, the identity behind the success of Zhou Corporations? She was so childish sometimes.
And he loved that she was childish only in front of him.
