"He is Kris, the renowned director of the country." Zhou Liying introduced Mu Yuehan to everyone.
At first, Mu Yuehan became surprised when Zhou Liying decided to introduce him to everyone, but later he realised that she was drunk and now he knew why she was not pushing him away, and why she was being so comfortable with him.
If only he knew that she was comfortable in his presence not only because of her drunkenness but because she had decided to give him a chance. She felt as if a heavy weight had been lifted off from her shoulders.
She was not going to push him away anymore. She would give him a chance. She would test him.
"We have met before." Mu Yuehan took the hand of Kris in a firm grip.
"We have when you were acting as her driver." Kris nodded, analysing the personality of Mu Yuehan. Mu Yuehan did the same.
"Mind you. I treat Zhou Liying as my sister. I will not hesitate in killing you if you brought any harm to her." Kris warned.
Mu Yuehan smiled. He liked him. He liked his protectiveness. "I will kill myself before bringing any harm to her." He promised.
Kris nodded and invited Mu Yuehan to join them.
Mu Yuehan was in no mood to join them. He wanted to take Zhou Liking away from here and wanted to enjoy her by himself She looked killer tonight, like usual. He had died so many times because of her hotness. He still was not immune to her godly beauty.
"So, tell me something about yourself."
And just like that Mu Yuehan was interrogated by Kris, Tang Ying and Zhou Bingbing too. Sure she knew a lot about Mu Yuehan but she still did not leave this chance to learn more about him. After all, the question was about the life of her cousin.
After spending two or more hours in their company and after answering most of their questions with honesty, Mu Yuehan decided that it was time for him to leave, with Zhou Liying.
"You are not taking her. I will drop her at her house." Kris tried to stop Mu Yuehan from taking away a drunk Zhou Liying.
"Oh come on. Now don't be so overly protective." Zhou Bingbing punched on the chest of Kris. "He is her husband. He has all the right to take her away."
Zhou Bingbing now fully supported Mu Yuehan, especially because she knew that he was the man from the past of Zhou Liying.
Moreover, Zhou Yonge had done an investigation upon Mu Yuehan. She had read the same reports. After reading them, she now fully trusted him. She only waited for the day when her cousin would accept him or would remember her past, her memories with him.
"What were you doing with Fan Yifeng?" Mu Yuehan asked once they were out of the club. He covered Zhou Liying with his coat because it was cold outside.
Inside, he had forgotten all about Fan Yifeng when he saw Tang Ying, but now he remembered about him and her photos with him.
"Oh…with him." She smiled with naughtiness and much to the surprise of Mu Yuehan, accepted his coat and completely covered herself with it. "Having fun."
"You...." He pinched her cheeks in instinct. He found her smile captivating.
"Ahh." She shrieked. "Bad boy. You are a bad boy. I am not talking with you."
Mu Yuehan shook his head. He knew there was no use in talking with her right now. He would need to use his sources to find out what she was doing with Fan Yifeng and who took their photos and sent them to him.
Somewhere he had a hunch that it was one of her friends, because they had an idea about his presence. But he wanted to be precautionary too, what if those photos were sent to him by some gang like the eagle gang?
Poor Mu Yuehan, he was thinking of so far, he attached danger with those photos. If only he knew that those photos were sent by his naughty wife only.
They both entered the awaited car of Mu Yuehan. Once inside, Mu Yuehan lifted the partition of the car to separate the driver's side from the back seat. Right now, the driver was a driver from Mu Corporation, not Li Tao.
Li Tao had to urgently leave for another city because of some personal issues.
"It was so cold outside." Zhou Liying murmured once inside the warm car. She removed the coat of Mu Yuehan and placed her palms in front of the heater.
"It is." Mu Yuehan nodded and looked out from the window and at the city which was now being washed by rainwater.
It was drizzling outside. The weather was very beautiful and the city was also looking beautiful covered in lights and water.
Zhou Liying placed her cheeks on the window pane and started to draw on it. She was enjoying the weather.
"Yuehan, can you do anything for me?" she mumbled. Her eyes were getting drippy.
Mu Yuehan shifted toward her and wrapped his arm securely around her waist. "Anything. You only have to ask."
"I am hungry. I want to eat." She requested.
"What do you want to eat?" Mu Yuehan checked the time and it was three at the night. He knew most of the restaurants got closed by this time, especially when it was raining tonight.
But he still would feed her whatever she wanted to eat. After all, which restaurant would not open for him?
"Surprise me." Zhou Liying grinned excitedly.action
"On one condition." Mu Yuehan smirked. "Tell me what were you doing with Fan Yifeng?"
"Oh no," Zhou Liying grumbled.
She was feeling lightheaded, sleepy and hell hungry, even when she had just eaten dinner with her friends. That was why, without thinking, she told Mu Yuehan about her plan. She also told him that it was Kris who took the photos.
"You should have seen the face of Fan Yifeng. I can't wait to hear about the aftermaths." Zhou Liying laughed.
Mu Yuehan knocked on her head. "Naughty girl." He hugged her and pulled her on his lap. Protectiveness came over him.
"You can make as many plans as you want, but you are not allowed to touch or hug any other male."
He was sure she would not listen to him, so he was to make sure that she would not get close to any male in the future.
