Chapter 355 - Humanity Vs. The God's Avatar.

[HP: 19250/20000]

The amount of HP the Avatar lost made the players depressed, but they didn't stop.

But then, the Avatar managed to block the rest of the attacks with his shield and sent a ray of sword beam toward them.

The players paled. But then, the Spellcasters stepped forth, and everyone with brown color on their robes began chanting the same spell.

"EARTH WALL!"

Instantly, a brown-colored earth wall arose from the cracked ground and blocked the sword beam!

That sight made the players cheer with thrilling looks.

The Avatar looked displeased and prepared to send another sword ray. Then, Isaac appeared in the air and fired another bullet. However, this time, the bullet was illusionary.

[Wraith's Shot Used!]

The Avatar felt a chill running through his back as he saw the illusionary bullet. Memories of the previous battle surfaced in his mind, and he knew how difficult it was to defend against.

Therefore, he decided to dodge. He sidestepped and thought that it was enough. However, the bullet managed to land on his shoulder and phased through.

The Avatar still sighed in relief because he couldn't feel anything solid hitting him. Then, he heard a bone-chilling voice that caused his body to turn cold.

"Real!"

Spurt!

The bullet inside the shoulder solidified and destroyed the shoulder blade before drilling through the flesh and exiting it.

"Ah!" The Avatar screamed out and wobbled forth.

[HP: 17200/20000]

His stone gray eyes began having a hue of red. However, before he could do anything, he was struck by dozen spells.

[HP: 15600/20000]

"Keep going!" Darth shouted, and for the first time since the battle began, the Players felt a hope rising from the depths of their hearts.

However, that hope was soon subdued. The Avatar pointed his finger toward the dusty ceiling and screamed aloud, "Spring Fall!"

Isaac, who was running after the Avatar, paled after hearing the shout. Then, a large boulder landed before him, sending him flying a dozen meters.

BOOM!

BAM!

CRASH!

CRACK!

THWACK!

WHACK!

"AAAAHHH!" The players screamed in agony, and with each boulder fall, dozens of players died. Floating particles appeared out of thin air and seeped into the walls and floors.

"Spellcasters, make a fall!" Darth, desperately trying to keep the players from dying, shouted till his voice became hoarse.

The Spellcasters with brown-colored robes listened to him and made another earth wall. But that was much weaker than before. Over half of Earth Spellcasters had died.

Bam! ꜰʀᴇᴇᴡᴇʙɴᴏᴠᴇʟ.ᴄᴏᴍ

Bam!

The earth wall managed to block several boulders before it became too much, and their protection crashed down.

Dozen more players died, and the remainder of the players had found some kind of cover. Then, Darth thought that they would lose if this kept going on. They have to be in the attacking end, not the other way!

That's why he made a risky bet and shouted, "All Fighters, onwards!"

The players with Fighter classes paled. They thought that Darth had gone mad, but after seeing a few players with similar classes running out of their cover and going straight toward the Avatar, they had to follow after.

Close to a hundred players left their covers and rushed toward the Avatar with pale-looking faces like they were running toward death, and there was nothing they could do.

The Avatar spun the sword in his palm and sent a horizontal slash toward the incoming players. But then, a single bullet appeared and landed on his palm's back, which made his sword strike miss the hundreds of pale-looking players.

"RAAAAAH!" The Players reached the Avatar and began hacking down. Soon, their attacks began destroying the armory, and they soon saw the skin below. They forfeited their lives and desperately began slicing through the flesh in hopes of reducing the Avatar's HP even by little!

The Avatar tried to smash his shield down to the players but then was hit by dozen spells. Even though Darth almost sent them to their deaths, it didn't mean he would allow them to die that easily.

He placed several arrows on his bowstring and began firing. Everyone followed his example, and soon, the Avatar was getting pushed back with HP rapidly decreasing!

Half an hour later.

"Haahh… Hah…" A player that was part of the Earth Spellcasters fell to the ground on his knees. He was draped in tattered brown robes, and his face was dirtied with unknown substances.

The surrounding area around him was destroyed with fallen debris, cracked ground, destroyed robes, and blue blood.

In the distance, he could see the earth-shaking battle between the Avatar and the remaining players, less than fifty left.

"I-I can't… How… Can… They… Keep… Going?" Every word uttered by him was a difficult task. His heart pounded rapidly, and he knew he'd gone past his limits to keep uttering the spells.

His eyes watered as he saw the Avatar's HP go below 1000, but the end seemed so far away.

Even since the start of the fight, he was scared with every fiber of his body. For some reason, he was still alive, even though his friends died within the first minute of the fight.

Only the true elite was still alive. With every swing of the sword, a player died. The Avatar's strength couldn't be described with mere words. He couldn't understand how they could fight this well!

However, he had a hunch about how. The main reason was the white-haired man and the black-haired man that kept the Avatar busy, which made him unable to concentrate on killing the other players.

He couldn't understand how they could keep fighting even after each attack could be their death. The mental pressure was immense because they must know that it was impossible to win if they died.

"Ugh…" He slowly moved to stand. Then, he saw his cracked wooden cane, which was only a few spells away from being destroyed. However, it could still be salvaged if taken to the repairman.

If it was destroyed entirely, no one could repair it. It was his most prized possession and was the only reason he could be called an Elite Player.

He bit his lip until blood began dripping down, "I…"

The tips of his fingers slowly grazed the wooden cane, and soon it was on his palm. He closed his eyes and felt the rush of emotions running through his veins.

Once he opened his eyes, his beautiful brown eyes glowed. Then, the globe shone, and another crack appeared in the wooden cane.

He pointed the cane toward the distant figure of the Avatar and said aloud his powerful words, "Earth Crash!"
