The middle-aged man turned his head and made sure that no one was around.
Once he was hundred percent confident, he took off his dark robes and revealed his armor beneath.
It was a solid armor with a chest plate that left his arms open, which gave him good movement.
He took the winter clothes from HandsomeLord's corpse and put them over the armor.
After he was done, he took the dark robes and put them over the winter clothing. Now he had triple protection from the cold.
First, he thought about leaving the place, but then he noticed how perfect this place was for him.
With the help of his scope, he could look much farther than with an ordinary musket rifle; it gave him a great advantage towards others.
He kicked HandsomeLord's corpse away and lied down on the snow pile, where a large stain of blue blood was.
He looked at the scope with his right eye and saw much further than HandsomeLord did, which made him even deadlier!
*Rumble*
''Ugh…'' His stomach rumbled, which earned a grunt of pain from him.
He glimpsed at the dead HandsomeLord and snorted, ''Did he plan camping here until he starves?''

TwistedReversed had a notification popping up in front of him, and it wasn't the first time.
The game had a safe mechanic.
They won't let Players feel the real pain of starvation. Instead, they will keep reducing the HP, and once the Player was very hungry, like at the level of someone not eating for two days in real life, the Player will die.
But, still, the pain will be minimal.
TwistedReversed didn't eat anything before joining the tournament and played all night to improve his level as much as he could.
This caused him to skip breakfast as well, and he was starving.
But, he took something out of his pocket, and it was bread!
He never thought he had any use for it and planned to throw it away, but surprisingly, it came in use with perfect timing.
But, it was the final bread of his, and after this one, he will have nothing to eat and has to find a way to get food.
He took a small bite of the bread and grimaced at the taste. It was very hard to bite at and even harder to swallow.
''Shit taste.'' He grimaced and almost spat the bread out but forced himself to swallow.
TwistedReversed has never tasted something so awful, not even close.
Since he was a child, he has been living a relaxed life with his wealthy family. Because his parents wanted to gather more status in society, they sacrificed him and married him to another family.
The woman he married was all-around awful.
Fat, ugly, and personality were the worst ones out of them. He didn't care about her looks, but after seeing how rotten her personality was, he did.
He wouldn't have cared if she was even gentle, but there was nothing good about her.
She was like a devil's spawn.
After a very rocky start of a marriage, he was forced to have a baby with the spawn of a devil, and it was something he didn't enjoy.
But, it was something that he didn't regret afterwards.
His wife gave birth to a daughter, who was the only good thing that happened from the marriage.
His family, of course, had a significant increase in status and became very respected, but TwistedReversed didn't speak them a word after they sacrificed him.
His wife spent zero time with the daughter, instead spent her time somewhere else.
He had a hunch that she was forcing some poor male prostitutes to fulfill her desires, but that was fine for him.
TwistedReversed had to be the one who had to take care of the daughter, and it was a hundred times better than spending time with the devil spawn.
His daughter also became very close to him, and the older she got, the more she started hating her mother.

It allowed her to craft anything, and the first thing she prepared was scope for her father.
During their stay in the village, they became known as a duo who couldn't be offended because the Village Chief heard about his daughter, who became very important in his eyes.
She got the protection of the Village Chief and his hundreds of Guards because Unique Classes are almost at the level of nobility.
They became almost Royals in the village, but they had to move out of the village to increase their strength, and so they did.
Seeing how important her daughter was in the village made him think.
At this rate, he will be left behind, and he wanted to accompany his daughter on her journey, which will bring her glory and fame.
He wanted to see how far her daughter would reach with his own eyes.
But to do that, he needs strength.
With Mythical Legacy, he can be with her daughter on his journey and maybe, reach the top with her.
