Isaac's eyelids trembled as he slowly opened his eyes.

The sight that greeted him was one of the snowy forest. Snow and trees were everything with a cold wind making his bangs flutter back and forth.

An only moment ago, he heard a voice inside his mind, which was gone now. The voice told about the tournament and about the sniper's greatest strengths.

It made Isaac think.

'Bullet isn't sniper's greatest strength…' His eyebrows furrowed as he thought about the meaning of those words.

But then he remembered that it wasn't time for daydreaming. He was on a battlefield, where a single mistake would cost him dearly.

''Interface…'' He murmured, and a familiar holographic screen appeared in front of him.

Everything at first looked the same until he saw something different…

[Legacy: Legacy Tournament Ongoing]

[Legacy Rank: Mythical]

[Contenders: 112]

He closed the Interface after noticing that there wasn't a time limit, but a new one showed the number of Contenders left.

Isaac moved closer to a nearby tree.

'Now… Where are we?' He thought to himself and started climbing the tree, which was quite slippery especially the tree's trunk.

His feet kept slipping with each movement, but he used the branches to his advantage and soon reached the top.

After reaching the top, his head managed to peek out from all the snowy layer that was gathered on top of the tree.

He saw an endless amount of trees and snow, but in the distance, he saw tall mountains filled with layers of snow and dark gray sky covering the view.

''Sigh…'' Isaac shook his head after not finding what he was looking for. Being in the middle of a forest, with only trees as cover, wasn't exactly what he wanted.

He dropped down from the tree and landed on the snowy ground.

The snow below his feet was quite solid, which didn't hinder his movements, but there were snow piles in almost every place of the forest.

Even a few small hills made of pure snow were seen, which made Isaac wary because there were many possible hiding spots, and those are definitely what everyone will be looking at first.

'Maybe I should go to the mountains… No, that's a bad idea.' Isaac erased his idea and decided to find a cave.

Looking at his trembling fingers, he could feel that the temperature was decreasing.

Soon it will be on a negative degree, which makes everyone anxious to look for caves or anything that can be used as cover from cold.

*Beep* *Beep*

Suddenly, a beeping sound appeared.

Every Player had the same notification popping up in front of them.

[Interface will be closed in 1 minute]

Few Players didn't care about that or didn't understand what it truly meant for them.

But, few smarter ones, like Isaac, understood.

'Damn!' Isaac anxiously looked around him, and after making sure that no one was around, he opened his Interface and went straight towards Inventory.

He grabbed the plastic bags holding his food and took them out. He put them gently on the ground and looked around the Inventory for more items that could be used by him.

He saw a glimpse of Teleportation Pearl but decided not to take it.

Instead, he took out his Flintlock Pistol and all ammunition needed for it.

Soon, a leather pouch, plastic bag, and Flintlock Pistol was lying below his feet.

*Beep* *Beep*

[Interface has been closed!]

Isaac sighed, 'I guess no one will be allowed to back out…' He also noticed that because Interface can't be opened, no one can Log Out either.

But just to be sure, he tried opening Interface, ''Interface.''

*Beep*

[Interface has been closed!]

After testing, Isaac turned his gaze towards the items in front of him.

''I can't take these with me, yet…'' He noticed that he couldn't carry Flintlock Pistol and the plastic bag that was holding his food.

''I need to find a cave and then come back for these…'' Isaac came up with a plan and took a glimpse of his surroundings.

Once making sure that no one was close, he used his two hands and started digging a hole in the snowy ground.

It was very difficult with bare hands, which caused him to use Musket Rifle's blade.

The thin blade made it easier, but he still had to use ten minutes to make a small hole that barely managed to hide the items.

He stored the items inside the small hole and covered it with the snow.

He had to take snow from nearby snow piles. Otherwise, the hole wouldn't have been covered.

*Tap* *Tap*

With his right hand, he tapped the snow on the ground, and soon the hole was covered, with snow looking as solid as the rest of the ground.

He used his Musket Rifle and carved a mark on the tree that was right next to the hole.

[I.V.W]

Isaac finished carving his initials on the tree and decided to look for the cave.

He hoped that he would find nearby, so he won't have to travel a long way to pick up his stuff.

After realizing that no one will be able to log out, he knows how important food was, and everyone will be desperate sooner or later.

But then, he remembered that he didn't have a food problem when he had Bronze VR Helmet, but he was famished once he logged out.

He started wondering whether anyone would even remember that their real-life bodies won't get any food and might starve to death.

He paled at possibilities, but soon, another notification popped up in front of all Players.

[Real-Life Mode Activated!]

[Hunger Mode Activated!]

[Sleep Mode Activated!]

[Cold Sensation Increased by 50%]

[Pain Sensation Increased by 1%]

Isaac widened his eyes and quickly started reading the descriptions.

Soon, a sigh escaped his mouth as he knew how panicked most of the Players must be.

Real-Life Mode puts everyone's real-world bodies on the same condition as their avatar.

If they get hungry, their real-world bodies will as well.

If they feel pain, their real-world bodies will as well.

If they get injured, they will receive the same injury in the real world.

But, if they die, nothing will happen to their real-life bodies.

Hungry Mode allows them to quench their avatar's and real-world bodies' hunger by eating in-game, like how Mythical VR Helmet works.

Sleep Mode lets everyone sleep usually in-game, and everyone will feel the same sleepiness as in the real world.
