Isaac landed on the hard ground, with darkness surrounding the place and the terrifying Beast lurking somewhere.
There was no sign of the tail, pearl, or the beast to who the tail belonged to, but he could feel a threatening presence lurking.
''Fhhhhhhhhhhhh...'' A chill ran through his spine as he heard a sound of unnatural sounding breathing in the darkness. Even his hair started fluttering from the single breath; he couldn't imagine what would happen if he got attacked.
A tinge of regret started sprouting on his mind, but he quickly shook it off.
He wanted to find the pearl as soon as possible and get out of this place, but in this dark place, it was easier said than done.
He tried to start moving, but when he did, he noticed how unstable the ground was and very... Spiky.
*CRACKKK*
Suddenly, the ground underneath him started moving!
Isaac staggered backwards and almost fell down on his butt but managed to stop before the catastrophe.
He moved at least five meters before the ground stopped moving once again.
To the stream, it looked very weird and unnatural.
But for Isaac... It was something much more perilous.
He understood that he wasn't standing on top of the ground; instead on top of the massive beast!
''Just how big...'' Isaac muttered under his breath and felt shock like never before.
He can't even imagine how big the beast underneath him is.
'I guess this is the end of my adventure...' He thought to himself and looked back towards the hole, where he came from, 'I am not gonna wait for my death...'
While looking at the hole, he didn't notice that something was creeping upon him.
Soon, he felt a chill on his spine and heard the quiet sound of vibration coming behind him.
Isaac widened his eyes and moved his torso to the right, just a tiny bit, but it was enough for the steel tail to miss his body.
''Die!'' He screamed and used the Musket Rifle's blade to slash at the tail.
*CLANK!*
The blade struck the steel armor of the tail, but it didn't do any damage, didn't even make a scratch on it!
''Sssssssssss...'' His beautiful face paled as he heard the bone-chilling sound of breathing coming from above him, but also beneath him. It was like he heard the beast's voice everywhere around him.
The tail once again became erratic and did a large swing at Isaac.
The white-haired figure jumped over the steel tail, with its spikes almost impaling him, but he jumped high enough to miss them.
Once he landed, he rolled couple more meters before coming to a stop.
Without further ado, he aimed the Musket Rifle at the tail and pressed the trigger.
*BANG!*
Once the bullet left the barrel, there was a split second of light in the vast darkness.
It was perhaps the first sign of light in this dark underground in hundreds of years.
The thing Isaac was something beyond his wildest imaginations...
He barely saw the Beast, and he greatly underestimated it...
The underground place was as far as his eyesight could reach, and it was one big cave system with rocky walls and ceiling, with dirt and soil popping out.
The Beast, on the other hand... Wasn't a Beast.
Isaac had chills; now he understood why so many hated insects.
He saw a large Centipede Insect, which was on the color of purple, with spikes popping from the armory.
It looked like it was surrounded by the largest armor in human history, but it was its skin.
That wasn't the only thing that frightened Isaac.
It was the length of the Centipede!
He only managed to see it briefly, but he was certain that it was easily 2 kilometers in length!
Isaac was standing at the area, close to the tail, while the massive head of the Centipede was far, far away.
Once the light disappeared, which only lasted for a split second.
*CLANK!*
The bullet pierced through the steel armor of the tail but got stuck inside!
First signs of any injuries in the Centipede were seen, but it was almost nothing!

Isaac thought it was ridiculous, even felt like laughing.

''Ssssssssssss!'' The sound of Centipede hissing made Isaac's legs go weak, and he had a hunch that it didn't like that he shot him, even though it didn't even tickle.
The tail had some difficulties in moving after having a bullet-sized hole in its armory, but soon it got rid of the shock and started moving even faster.
It moved like whiplash, making a booming sound around Isaac, and he couldn't even see its movement in the dark.

It was obviously scaring Isaac, and it was working. He knew that he could die from instant and in the distance... He saw a sight that he didn't want to.
The tail, when collided with the large body of the Centipede, caused sparks to fly.
Because of that, Isaac managed to once again see the large body of Centipede only for short periods of time.
But, it was enough for him to see something that would give him nightmares for a long time.
The Centipede's head was slightly turned, and it was massive; the disgusting yellowish eye was staring right at him!
''I am so dead...'' The sparks kept flying around him, which allowed him to see the Centipede and the tail clearly.
He could barely see the tail moving but saw it inching closer.
It won't take long for his life to end, but... Even though the fear was creeping in, there was something that gave Isaac enough courage to keep moving.

The barrel of the Musket Rifle wasn't aimed at the tail or the muscular body of the Centipede. Instead, it was towards the eye of the Centipede!
The massive eye that was wide open with its large pupil concentrated on Isaac.
His fingertip touched the trigger, and slowly, but surely, he squeezed it...
