Isaac groggily opened his eyes and took the VR Helmet off. He put it gently on the bed, and once he sat up, he again felt his numb muscles, but this time something was different.
''Hmm..?'' He blinked dumbly and rubbed his eyes, wondering if he was hallucinating.
Once he was done rubbing his eyes, he opened them wide and touched his feet, or more precisely, at his pants.
The folded edge at the hem of the bottom of his pants seemed slightly different because it seemed that the pants had shrunk, because it didn't reach his ankles anymore, instead it was a few centimeters short.
''Weird... I don't remember them being this short...'' He scratched his white hair and stood straight, only to feel his legs screaming in pain.

Isaac frowned and put the VR Helmet back on the box, and stuffed it inside his wardrobe.
He walked past the mirror but soon came to a stop after seeing another strange sight.
He turned around to look at the mirror and walked straight in front of it.
Usually, during mornings, he either accidentally or purposely looks at the mirror, and the sight is usually identical, but now... He had an obvious feeling that something was wrong.
He put his hand 0n the top of his head and measured it with the top end of the mirror.
Isaac's confused face soon turned into a shocked one. He quickly rushed towards his desk and went through all the shelves and cupboards until he finally found what he was looking for.
It was measuring tape!
He went back towards the mirror and measured the height of the mirror and had to stretch his hands as far as he could and finally measured it as 195cm.
It was hanging in the wall, which was slightly above the floor, and that made measuring it slightly difficult, but he managed to do it, and with the help of the measuring tape, he measured his own height.
He did it multiple times until he came to a conclusion... He got the same result multiple times.
Isaac dropped the measuring tape down to the floor and covered his face in disbelief.
''I-I have grown...'' He murmured with disbelief until he roared in laughter, ''Hahahaha, fuck yes!'' His maniac-sounding laughter echoed in the room as he started punching the air in front of him.
His height has been around 170cm as long as he could remember, but now...

He had grown 5 cm out of nowhere, and after Isaac's happiness started to subdue, he also remembered how weird it is to suddenly grow so much, and his family will definitely see the difference.

''Marvin?'' After receiving no answer for ten seconds, he put his hand on the doorknob and twisted it until the sound of the door about to open was heard.

He peeked inside the room after the door was slightly opened, he expected to see an empty room without any signs of Marvin, but instead, he saw a tall, brown-haired individual lying on the bed with a VR Helmet on his head.
''Oh.'' Isaac looked surprised, but then he closed the door and thought it was quite a weird sight of seeing Marvin lying down on the bed without moving.
He and his friends are rascals who can't stay in the same spot for longer than a minute.
Isaac had a hunch that he would meet Marvin and his friends soon.
With light steps, he walked down the stairs and reached the living room, with food already ready on the table.
Isabella, who was putting plates on the table, saw Isaac entering the living room, ''Isaac! Do you want to help...'' Her words got stuck in her throat as she narrowed her eyes and saw something unusual about Isaac.
''Help you with plates? Sure.'' Isaac rushed towards the kitchen, leaving the confused Isabella alone who was tapping her chin with a suspicious gaze, ''He has changed...''
Maxwell stood up from the couch and went towards the dining table, and saw Isabella standing with a thoughtful look.
''Something wrong?'' He asked after arriving next to her, and finally, Isabella woke up from her stupor.
''Isaac seems different.'' Isabella said, ''He seemed... Taller.''
''He might be growing, that's good sign; he has been uncomfortable with his height for a long time.'' Maxwell said and sat down on the chair.
Isabella sighed and heard footsteps approaching.
Isaac appeared once again and put a couple of plates down on the table, but then he felt a soft hand touching his head.
''Y-You have grown so much!'' Isabella cried out with a shocked look. She was standing next to Isaac, and they used to be around same height, but now she could easily tell that Isaac is much taller than before.
''Growth period,'' Isaac replied and sat down on the chair.
''That's right.'' Maxwell nodded and started taking food from different plates, ''This is a sign that Isaac is reaching adulthood.''
Isabella covered her mouth in shock, ''N-No... I-Isaac, I have a question.''
''Yes, mother?'' Isaac grabbed a sandwich and stuffed it inside his mouth after being hungry again, after not eating at all since morning.
Isabella was about to ask if he was being stolen away by some vixen, but then she shook her head and thought that it was silly.
Isaac and Maxwell looked at her and shrugged.
''Oh right.'' Isaac wiped his mouth with a napkin after finishing the sandwich.
Maxwell and Isabella, who just sat down, looked at him with a curious look.
''I will go visit the hospital tomorrow.'' He said without planning to tell the real reason for his visit.
''Is everything alright?'' Maxwell asked with a serious look but sighed in relief after seeing Isaac shaking his head.
''I will go visit Richard and also... I will go buy a new VR Helmet.''

Maxwell dropped his fork accidentally after hearing Isaac's words; he turned his shaky eyes towards Isaac and asked, ''Y-You will continue playing?''

''Of course, you are allowed to!'' Maxwell stood up and said, ''Isaac, follow me... I have something to show you.''
''What is it?'' Isaac stood up with a questioning look while Isabella tilted her head with imaginary question marks floating above her head.
''You don't have to buy a new VR Helmet....'' Maxwell smirked and said, ''I have one for you.''
