Chapter 1484: Soul Scourge Whip

"You’re not dead… you’re not dead! Haha, thank goodness, thank goodness…"

I erupted with joy while hugging Uldan tightly.

Uldan’s bright eyes were filled with exhaustion, but she mustered a smile and said, "Mn, I have no plans to die anytime soon. However, my divine energy is nearly depleted, and I cannot provide you with any more help. Go, young adventurer. Continue your journey and seek out Xinran on the seventh floor. There’s no need to worry about me, I’ll survive one way or another…"

However, I carried her in my arms and said, "No. You are no longer alone in this world, Uldan. You’re coming with me!"

I rose to my feet and healed myself to full health. Then, I carried her on my back and used the tail end of the Cloak of Divine Fervor to bind her firmly against my back. Thankfully, Uldan was fairly easy to carry. She was a bit heavy, but that would only affect my movement speed a little.

After the work was done, I looked back at her with a smile and said, "We will look for Xinran together…"

Uldan shot me a smile that could be interpreted as happy or helpless. "You fool. Fine, do whatever you want. I’m going to sleep now…"

"Mn."

And she did just that. I heard light snoring coming from my back almost immediately after she said that.

……

Now with a girl behind my back, I decided to check out what the super secret boss, Dihai had dropped for me first. I needed his loot to be extraordinary because the seventh floor was going to be even more dangerous than the sixth!

Dihai’s loot sat amid a floor of ashes. First, there was a burning blade that was obviously the weapon he used to beat the shit out of me a moment ago. Second, there was a giant shield overflowing with divine energy that made my heart race. There wouldn’t be a better weapon in this game than my Xuanyuan Sword, but there were plenty more shields that were better than my Cyan Dragon Shield. The third piece of equipment was a whip overflowing with spirit energy, and after that there was just a pile of magic stones, enhancement gems and a pet egg. I didn’t know what it was, but I would get to it eventually. First things first, I grabbed the scorching hot blade and brought up its stat screen—

……

I was absolutely delighted to see yet another Middle Divine Armament. Who should I give this to, I wonder? Li Chengfeng had the Cyan Peak Halberd, Gui Guzi the Ghostblade Halberd, and High Fighting Spirits, the Sun already. This meant that I would have to choose between He Yi, Chaos Moon, Heaven’s Rain, Diamond Dust, Eighteen Steeds of You and Yun and more. I was the one who dropped this weapon, so I had the full right to decide who it goes to. In the end, I decided to give He Yi first dibs on the weapon. if she turned down the weapon for whatever reason, then I would check if Chaos Moon wanted it. Chaos Moon was a very good girl, so I’m sure she wouldn’t be so shameless as to demand the weapon for free. I wouldn’t mind trading it to her for a cheap price…

It was time to move on. Next, I checked out the equipment that most caught my eye, the crimson shield overflowing with divine energy. Its stats absolutely surpassed the Cyan Dragon Shield’s—

……

I was overjoyed. A powerful defense was exactly what I needed right now, and this Dihai Shield was going to increase my survivability to a whole new level. Not even Lin Na would be able to one-shot me now, right?

I didn’t hesitate to replace my old equipment with it. The effects were profound to say the least.

I put the Cyan Dragon Shield into my bag. When I returned to the guild, I would leave it in the guild warehouse and let the others have it.

Next, I checked out the whip overflowing with spirit energy.

I thought that it might be a Divine Armament, but I had no idea that it was no ordinary—not even extraordinary, it was beyond that—Divine Armament until I brought up its stat screen. Dihai had actually dropped me the whip of the Twelve Divine Armaments!!

Introduction: The Soul Scourge Whip was created on an ancient battlefield. After the perished gods’ bones became one with an earth dragon’s bones, an ancient god infused them with divine energy, ground them with profound metal, and forged them into a most extraordinary divine whip. It was none other than the Soul Scourge Whip. It is said that the owner of the Soul Scourge Whip can converse with wild animals and summon countless wild animals to aid them in battle. Since ancient times, this whip has transformed countless tamers into invincible powerhouses.

Level Requirement: 240

Reputation Requirement: 2,200,000

Class Requirement: Tamer, Warrior

……

My mouth felt dry when I read to the end of the stat screen. Heavens, this whip is literally heaven-defying…

I silently put the Soul Scourge Whip into my bag while affirming my resolve not to die on this trip once more. I would literally cry if I dropped all these top-tier equipment!

Besides the three pieces of equipment, the last curiosity among all the loot Dihai dropped was of course the crimson pet egg. If I wasn’t mistaken, this was going to be yet another pleasant surprise. There were only so many Divine Rank bosses in Heavenblessed, and it wasn’t like their numbers grew over time. It wouldn’t make any sense for it not to be good.

I could feel the tiny life wriggling inside the pet egg as I held it in my palm. I waved a hand across it and saw—

Fire Phoenix Pet Egg (Lower Divine Rank Mount)

Level Requirement: 250

Reputation Requirement: 2,000,000

……

Holy shit, this was a Divine Rank mount egg? I couldn’t stop myself from grinning. Even Lin Yixin, He Yi, Li Chengfeng and Gui Guzi’s Holy Giant Dragons were just Ancient Immortal Rank mounts. Although this Fire Phoenix was just a Lower Divine Rank mount, it was still very OP. I bet that its stats weren’t too far behind even my Ancient Divine Dragon. It was very fitting and lucky to have a true dragon and a true phoenix in the guild as well.

I put the pet egg in my bag while considering its future owner. There were plenty of top experts in Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls, and the best of them—Li Chengfeng, He Yi and Gui Guzi—were all riding Crystal Dragons. Of all the first-rate players, Beiming Xue was the only one whose mount didn’t really fit her status. The Fire Qilin was by no means a bad mount, but it was ultimately land-bound and more susceptible to terrain disadvantages. This Fire Phoenix would remove those constraints, grant her greater attack range than ever before, and powerful mobility. In short, she would become our aerial bomber, and an aerial bomber was exactly the kind of talent we could use in our guild!

……

Finally, it was time to check out the more mundane stuff. Three of the seven Divine Crystals Dihai dropped were of 100 Quality, and the other 4 were between 70 and 99. There were also a couple Rank 17 and Rank 18 enhancement gems. Currently, no such enhancement gems existed in any market, so they were priceless to say the least. I decided to use a Rank 18 Cyanfire Gem to enhance my Xuanyuan Sword’s Attack by 5%, and the Rank 18 Dragonstone Gems and Berserk Gems to enhance the Pity of the Purgatory Gods and the Armor of the Divine Oracle Scarlet Dragon by 5% Defense and crit rate. It was awesome.

While I was looking through the loot, an unusual blue crystal suddenly caught my eye. Its color was unusually dazzling, and it was filled with magic energy. It seemed incredibly good at first glance, and I wasn’t wrong. I fell silent when I saw its description—

Teleportation Divine Crystal: Sets up a 100x100 yards teleportation formation at a designated coordinate. Allows the owner of the crystal to teleport players to and from a designated teleportation formation without any requirements and constraints. Level Requirement: 270. Luck Requirement: 100. Teleportation Range: Infinite.

……

I sucked in a deep breath. At first glance, the Teleportation Divine Crystal seemed very average. However, its strategic value had turned my mind completely blank for several seconds. To give an example, the total value of everything I had collected in the Purgatory until now was still lower than this one Divine Teleportation Crystal! After all, this tool would allow me to teleport an army anywhere, anytime! It was the item to use when executing a blitzkrieg maneuver in a war!

I put the Teleportation Divine Crystal carefully into my bag even as my mind conjured up countless battle scenarios in my mind. To say that this one crystal would change our entire approach toward the upcoming Nation War would be an understatement. Our choices had increased as well.

1. T/N: not gonna lie, this single weapon makes me wish that Lu Chen had been a tamer instead ☜
