Chapter 1387: Little Piglet’s Bane
"Dammit, it’s Dark Mercenaries again. They just won’t stop coming!" Wang Dongliang gripped his sword tightly as he uttered.
Profound Puff watched Dark Mercenaries as he said quietly, "Well, Little Piglet is determined to make us pay. Who knows when his path of vengeance will end? Sigh. If only that hadn’t happened…"
Roaming Dragon cut him off before he could say more. "Enough, Zhao Yufeng."
Iron Pardon asked, "What do we do now, boss?"
Wang Dongliang slowly unsheathed his sword and ordered, "Purgatory Mad Dragon, prepare to receive the enemy. Don’t worry, we have the advantage this time. We are seventy thousand elites strong, and Dark Mercenaries aren’t. Archers and mages, Far Shot your skills at the enemy’s Iron Cutter Cavalry as soon as they enter our range. It is our only chance of surviving this. Ray of Sunshine, we leave Little Piglet to you!"
Ray of Sunshine smirked in response. "Will do. I’ve been looking forward to dueling Little Piglet anyway. This is a good opportunity to experience the man who claims he’ll destroy Purgatory Mad Dragon with the band of misfits he gathered at the outer lands!"

A great battle was about to happen. Both sides were as tense as they could be.
Li Chengfeng asked seriously, "What do we do now, Lu Chen?"
"Nothing."
I replied calmly while watching the two armies, "Our mission is to hold this entrance and allow no one to pass through until Little Gui and Twelve Musicians are done with the boss, so that is what we’re going to do. By the way, if Purgatory Mad Dragon loses and escapes in our direction, do not let them inside."
Li Chengfeng smiled. "What happened to make you hate Purgatory Mad Dragon this much?"

Some distance away, Warsky raised his Immortal Blade and ordered more or less the same thing, "Warsky Alliance, hold your ground and leave Dark Mercenaries and Purgatory Mad Dragon alone. If they attack us, don’t hesitate to fuck them up. Otherwise, just sit tight and enjoy the show!"
The Gold Cavalry immediately raised their shields and formed a shield formation in case either one of the warring parties decided to try something. Warsky Alliance had definitely evolved tremendously compared to a month ago.

The cold wind blew, and the Ink Qilin’s roar resounded across the mountain ranges as a man clad in excellent armor and wielding a sword appeared on a hill. It was Little Piglet entering the stage himself. He pointed his sword in the direction of Purgatory Mad Dragon and ordered, "Kill! Don’t leave a single person alive!"
Over 10000 Iron Cutter Cavalrymen and many, many other types of cavalry rode down the mountain ridge like an avalanche. I counted at least 50k elite cavalrymen among Dark Mercenaries. Wang Dongliang clearly wasn’t expecting Little Piglet to dare to muster such a huge force on a map of the Chaotic Regions. After all, players from the outer lands were treated like rats on the streets. No one would hesitate to kill them if they encountered them.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh...
The Iron Cutter Cavalry’s weapons became wreathed in cone-shaped flames long before they approached Purgatory Mad Dragon’s defense line. There was no skill more powerful against a shield formation than Barrier Break. Little Piglet had taken off later than his men, but he eventually outstripped them thanks to his Ink Qilin. The stratagem "Vajra" shining beneath his mount, he abruptly activated Great Earth Transformation and Great Conqueror at the same time.

The entire row of Purgatory Mad Dragon players collapsed the second Dark Mercenaries’ Barrier Breaks made contact with their shields. It was as clear as day that the Iron Cutter Cavalry was absolutely the superior of Purgatory Mad Dragon’s cavalry, to say nothing of Little Piglet himself. He summoned the Ice Breaking Slash and dropped it on top of the enemies in front of him. The entire group took over 1.2 million damage and died just like that!
Multiple Iron Cutter Cavalrymen made it through the shield formation, the magic spells and the arrow rains to reach the center. When the time was right, Little Piglet raised his sword and shouted, "Everyone, Ultimate Strength Break!"
Boom!
The dazzling skill erupted along an entire row of backliners and made them scream. Individually speaking, their player quality was already weaker than Dark Mercenaries’. Worse, both sides shared more or less the same army size. As a result, Purgatory Mad Dragon looked like they would lose even though the battle was just beginning. Little Piglet definitely put in far more effort to train his troops than either Wang Dongliang or Lu Chao.

Sparks scattered as Wang Dongliang just barely blocked a sword strike from an Iron Cutter Cavalryman. Even so, he was sent flying to the back due to the enormous Strength gap between him and his opponent. Shocked and angry, he shouted, "What else are you waiting for, Ray of Sunshine? Bring in the shock troops already!"
There was a short commotion, and Ray of Sunshine appeared with around 1000 men behind him. They were all elite cavalrymen, and their mounts were all incredibly high-level. Purgatory Mad Dragon had spent a ton of money to create these shock troops, and under Ray of Sunshine’s leadership one might even say that they were the ace troops of their guild.
Ray of Sunshine was covered from head to toe in top-tier equipment, and he was riding an Immortal Rank mount called the Cloud Devil Panther [1]. Like a lightning bolt, he instakilled an Iron Cutter Cavalryman with a triple-hit Dragon Flame Flurry, turned around and stunned another dozen or so Iron Cutter Cavalrymen with Shadow Breaker. Purgatory Mad Dragon’s shock troops were able to make short work of them as a result.
Ray of Sunshine had strengthened his Defense with Crimson Fire Shield, but he should’ve fallen in battle considering the sheer amount of Barrier Breaks and other skills he was receiving. However, the Heaven Suppressing Necklace’s 100% lifesteal was too OP. When Ray of Sunshine dropped to 27% HP, he unleashed Crimson Flame Slash that injured or killed an entire group of enemies and, more importantly, healed him to full health completely. All the Dark Mercenaries players who saw this were utterly flabbergasted by the sight.
"Kill! Show the scoundrels of the outer lands that Purgatory Mad Dragon is not someone they can toy with as they please!"
Ray of Sunshine let out a roar and plunged into the center of a group of enemies suddenly. Then, he raised his sword, paid 1000 gold and cast Rise of the Fire Dragon. The next moment, huge flaming dragons burst out of the earth, and at least hundreds of Iron Cutter Cavalrymen were caught within the attack. The skill dealt a string of 400k damage numbers to each cavalryman, and a moment later, everyone within 100 yards of Ray of Sunshine was dead. It was a complete slaughter.
"God damn, now we’re talking!" Roaming Dragon exclaimed in shock.
Wang Dongliang barked out a laugh and ordered, "Everyone, follow Ray of Sunshine’s lead and defeat Dark Mercenaries! Teach them the price of entering the Ancient Chaotic Secret Realm!"

Thanks to Ray of Sunshine and his elites’ heroic efforts, Purgatory Mad Dragon eventually found their footing and pulled back from the brink of defeat. Not only that, thanks to the constant DPS from their mages and archer parties, they were able to turn the fight around and put Dark Mercenaries on the back foot instead. Their 10000 Iron Cutter Cavalrymen dwindled to less than 5000 almost all too quickly, and it was a loss Little Piglet hadn’t seen coming at all.
After taking out three metal armor players with a ball of fire, Amber Pupil turned toward Little Piglet and shouted, "Guild leader, we need to retreat now! Otherwise, we’re going to lose everyone in less than half an hour!"
Little Piglet clenched his teeth. "Gather everyone and retreat slowly. I’ll protect the rear and face off against that Ray of Sunshine!"
"Mn!"
"Follow me!"
Hundreds of players rushed to Little Piglet’s side at his call. They then charged straight toward Purgatory Mad Dragon’s new ace, Ray of Sunshine’s thousand-man party.
Swhoosh!
An icy pillar crashed down on top of a group of Purgatory Mad Dragon cavalrymen as Little Piglet rode past them. At the same time, his Ink Qilin opened its mouth and spat out a jet of deadly flames. Finally, Little Piglet cast his signature Ice Ray Flurry and struck everyone within 30 yards in front of him. The one combo had killed almost a hundred Purgatory Mad Dragon elites.
"You dare!"
Ray of Sunshine roared and galloped straight toward Little Piglet. He raised his sword, but brought it down without using a character skill!
Little Piglet narrowed his eyes and angled his sword to parry it!
Chiang!
Amazingly, the downward swing knocked Little Piglet three steps backward and stalled Ray of Sunshine only a little. It meant that the latter was just a tad superior to Little Piglet in the Strength department. It couldn’t be helped. Purgatory Mad Dragon had spent hundreds of millions to make Ray of Sunshine who he was. If he couldn’t even outmuscle Little Piglet after that, then it truly was the end of the road for Purgatory Mad Dragon.
Little Piglet abruptly summoned a spear from his hands and slammed its end against the ground to halt his momentum. Then, he activated Freezing Heat to drastically increase his speed before dashing past Ray of Sunshine like a bolt of lightning.
"Hmm?!"
Ray of Sunshine caught this and backpedaled in a hurry. He also crossed his sword in front of himself to Guard against any incoming strike.
Thud!
However, instead of attacking after his blade came into contact with Ray of Sunshine’s chest. Little Piglet lifted his sword to cancel the former’s Guard and leave him wide open. Ray of Sunshine turned green immediately. They were in the thick of a battle, and Little Piglet still managed to pull off a high-level move that required the most delicate of controls. This was the true strength of a CGL Hall of Famer!
Little Piglet proceeded to strike Ray of Sunshine three times with his last hit being a Barrier Break no less. It was almost everything he got!

Unfortunately, the beautifully executed triple strike wasn’t enough to one-shot Ray of Sunshine. The Master Swordsman of Blaze had full buffs, so he had over 2 million total HP.
"If you can’t kill me, then prepare to be killed!"
Ray of Sunshine snarled viciously before grabbing Little Piglet’s sword hilt with one hand and stabbing his chest with the other with Crimson Flame Slash. It looked like it would tear the Cold Wind Swordsman apart!

Ray of Sunshine was able to deal a terrible blow to Little Piglet and heal a massive amount of HP at the same time.
"Fuck off!"
Little Piglet abruptly pushed himself up his mount and landed a vicious kick on Ray of Sunshine’s throat. While he was twirling back to his mount, he scored another Ice Ray Flurry and Ice Blade Shatter on his opponent!

He even managed to land one more basic attack before Ray of Sunshine finally stopped him. His skills were as amazing as ever.
Unfortunately, while Ray of Sunshine’s skills were inferior to Little Piglet, he wasn’t so weak that the latter could overcome even 100% lifesteal. He was able to land two strikes of his own and healed himself for around 500k HP. Moreover, it wasn’t like Purgatory Mad Dragon’s priests were doing nothing during this time. Ray of Sunshine’s HP quickly shot past the 90% mark, but Little Piglet’s had fallen below 25%. The Heaven Suppressing Necklace was just too powerful!
