Ming Yue and Ashley shuttled through the alleys of Heaven's Sanctuary City with great speed. The entire city had already been alarmed as guards were rushing to find them.
" Why do I think this is a trap?" Ming Yue frowned as she followed Ashley.
" Even this is a bait, it's an irresistible bait, Young Lady." Ashley gave a bitter smile as she scanned the street ahead.
" I already gathered all the data of the guards and their positions. Since that bastard isn't here, the guards got relaxed a bit." Ashley mumbled.

" I understand. It's just that…something feels off." Ming Yue frowned. " Wait, There are guards ahead."

Ashley and Ming Yue burst forward as they hurried outside the city. Soon, they noticed a vehicle outside and Ashley's eyes lit up.

Blood plasma appeared around Ashley as she turned it into short swords. The swords stabbed forward as they killed the people ahead of them.

" Wh-Who are you guys? What are- GAAHH!"
Blood splashed as Ashley killed them off. " Young Lady, get inside!"
" Enemies! They are running away!"

Ming Yue saw the city guards already noticed them as they rushed toward them.
" Let me handle this." Ming Yue's eyes narrowed as she raised her hand. " Wind Barrier!"
*PENG PENG PENG PENG!"
The bullets slowed down as they hit Ming Yue's Wind Barrier. Ashley started the vehicle and stepped on the accelerator.
" Dust Storm!"
Ming Yue's wind energy roared as the cloud of dush rose, enveloping everything around them. Ashley drove the vehicle as Ming Yue covered their tracks.
Soon, both of them were away from Heaven's Sanctuary City.
" Haha! AHAHAHA!"
Ashley started to laugh out loud as she increased the speed. " My Lady! We did it! We escaped from that hellish place!"
Ming Yue sighed as she looked outside. " Don't get too happy, Ash. I am still not believing that we managed to escape. Judging from that bastard's skills, you think he wouldn't have predicted our movements?"
" Cheh, Young Lady, He is a human, not a god." Ashley snorted, " Not to mention, how is he going to find us in this endless desert?"
" What is our plan now? How are we going back?"
Ashley thought for a moment. " I know a small abandoned ruin here. We can safely pass the night there. After that, we will go to the nearby city and then to Steel Fortress."
Ming Yue remained silent. " Hey, Ash…"

Ashley laughed bitterly as she drove the vehicle. It was already night when they reached a small colony. It was an abandoned area with some zombies roaming around. They quickly found a good spot and both of them took a rest.
" My lady, Look, I brought something for you." Ashley laughed as she took out some canned fruits and chocolate bars. " That bastard ate some and left all the leftovers on the table. When I came, I brought some along with me."
Ming Yue took a bite of the chocolate and sighed. " It is really miraculous how that guy found all these things. It was like he said, could it be he is a god descended from the heavens?"
Ashley snorted. " He is talking like those Salvation Cult lunatics. Gods? If God exist we wouldn't be suffering here."
" Sigh, We are trapped from all sides. I wonder what should we do…" Ming Yue sighed. Both of them ate the food as they took some rest.
It was already night as everything darkened around them. Ming Yue and Ashley were vigilant while they took a rest.
Suddenly, both of them shuddered as their nose twitched.
" Wh-What's with this smell?"
" This smells…So delicious!"

Ashley and Ming Yue looked at each other with surprised expressions as they could smell that aroma spreading in the surroundings.
When they peeked outside the window, their expression couldn't help but turn pale.
In the darkness, a young man stood in the middle of the street. He was cooking on a barbeque grill he waved the smoke with his hands.
" Th-This bastard!!! How is he here?"
Ashley trembled as she could easily recognize that figure. It was none other than Jun Tianyun.
" Whoa? Are you guys going to just stare and do nothing?" Jun Tianyun laughed loudly as he started at a house.
" Come on, I already prepared dinner for you."
" Young Lady…"
Ming Yue sighed as she placed her hand on Ashley's shoulder. " It's alright. We got caught. There is no point in hiding."
" At least, let us enjoy his food. I would like to see what he got in his mind."
Ashley was speechless when she heard Ming Yue. Ming Yue didn't show an ounce of fear as she looked at Jun Tianyun. Without saying anything, she and Ashley walked out.
" Well, I was really waiting for you, Mr. Jun. I guess you are a bit late." Ming Yue spoke in a light tone as she sat beside the barbeque.
" Something unexpected happened. That's why I got delayed a bit." Jun Tianyun laughed as he cooked the food.
" So, You miss was right. You set a trap for us!"
Ashley snorted as she glared at Jun Tianyun. Jun Tianyun chuckled. " Indeed, And you guys fell in it."
Jun Tianyun took out some seasonings and sprinkled them on the food. After that, he served both of them.
" Hmph, Don't you think you can make amends with us with food." Ashley snorted as she took the plate. She was quite hungry from yesterday.
" Amends?" Ming Yue gave a bitter smile. " I guess it is more like giving the last good food to a sacrificial lamb."
Jun Tianyun blinked. " What do you mean? I don't think I am a bad guy. I don't do anything first. I only answer when my opponent makes the first move."
A grin flashed in Jun Tianyun's eyes as he looked at Ming Yue. " And, if the opponent doesn't makes a move, I will force them to make one so I can retaliate."
" Indeed, You are truly the most viciously cunning man I ever met." Ming Yue sighed as she ate the food. Her eyes closed as she savored the tender meat.
" This… What kind of meat is this? Why is it so tender?" Ashley's eyes lit up as she hurriedly ate the food. " The meat… Is this thing called a potato? And what's this spicy yet saucy flavor?"
" Well, Areyou guys enjoying the food?" Jun Tianyun smiled as he poured some wine in the glasses. " I am sure you are."
Ming Yue and Ashley didn't answer as they were focused on the food. Ashley even started to crying as she ate the food.
" Why… Why is this so tasty? Why this tastes so…heavenly…"
*After a While*
" Ahh! Now, This is what you call a wine!" Ashley smacked her lips as she chugged down her glass. " This is countless time better that those piss drink they selling."
Ming Yue was much calmer as she drank wine. " I guess the fun time is over. So, Mr. Jun, Tell me what are you going to do now."
Ashley became vigilant as she looked at Jun Tianyun with wary eyes. Jun Tianyun's face was giving a handsome, yet mysterious vibe under the bonfire.
" Well, I guess Miss Ming is straight to the point, yes?" Jun Tianyun rubbed his palms. " So, What do you think about your situation?"
Ming Yue gave a bitter smile. " A situation with no solution. We can't escape from you. Therefore, What do you wish for us? If you wish to kill us, You would have done already."
Jun Tianyun rubbed his chin. " Hmm, I wonder. First, Be my slave out your own will. I won't restrict your freedom much."
" Second, be my slave forcefully and you won't get any freedom. Oh, the third option is something you won't choose anyway."
" Haha…" Ming Yue looked at the dark skies as her eyes narrowed. " If I am going to serve you, You must give me the entire Steel Fortress."

" The first one." Ming Yue replied.
" Then start behaving like one." Jun Tianyun grinned. Ming Yue was stunned as she sighed. She got on her knees as she knelt.

Jun Tianyun slapped his thighs as he laughed. " Good, The night is still young. Why don't we have some fun?"
