Hua Wan'er was still trembling after Jun Tianyun pulled her into the underwater cave. She looked around in awe as she was unable to speak anything for a few moments.
She fumed and shouted. " Yo-You! Why! You could have told me before!"
Jun Tianyun shrugged. " I didn't have time."
Then he got up as his Eyes of Fortune flashed. In front of him, the entire area was covered with two colors of light. One was bright red, and the other was bright golden.
' Deep in the forest, in a hidden cave…This is definitely a perfect place for a wild golden finger or inheritance.' Jun Tianyun rubbed his palm as he looked around.
The trio walked in the tunnel for a while as it becomes darker and wider. They could even feel occasional cold drafts.
" What's this place? It looks huge." Xiao Yue stood up and shook her body, shaking off water from her body. But then, she suddenly trembled as got into stance.
"Young master… I sense movements." Xiao Yue's eyes flashed with a cold glint. With her eyes, she can naturally see clearly in the dark, not to mention her sharp senses.
Hua Wan'er halted as she also drew out her twin sabers. " What is it? What kind of beast it is?"
Jun Tianyun's eyes narrowed as he looked ahead. " I guess there are at least a dozen of them. Everyone, get ready."
*KRIEEEK KRIEEEK KRIEEEK*
A deep screeching noise echoed as Hua Wan'er became tensed. She was also a talent, so the darkness wasn't much of a bother for her. However, Jun Tianyun suddenly took a small stick and lit it up with fire, creating a torch.
The moment the light appeared, Hua Wan'er and Xiao Yue could see a few shadows flickering at them.
" KHIEEEK!!"
Hua Wan'er sabers moved as she slashed out. Her saber moved like a red blur as if it could rip the air itself.
Blood splashed as Hua Wan'er hacked one of those shadowy things. It looked like a monkey, but it was pitch black in color. It was bigger than an average monkey, but the strangest thing was its face.
It was pitch gray, as its entire face was made of stone. Its eyes were red as they wore a creepy and ferocious expression. Hua Wan'er got scared as she slashed at it a few more times, dismembering it into pieces.
However, It wasn't the end. A couple more jumped out as they attacked ta them.
" Hmph! Filthy beasts! Die!"
Xiao Yue raised her claws as she slashed out. The blades of wind rose from them as they cut those black monkeys to pieces. Hua Wan'er didn't stand idle either.
Her twin sabers moved like a butterfly flapping its wings. The crimson blade roamed over around her.
" Cloud Cleaving!"
*BOOM!"
White sparks emerged from her sabers as she cleaved those monkeys to pieces. The two of them fought crazily as they kept killing more and more of those monkeys.
As they moved forward, black monkeys of bigger sizes started to approach.
" Damn it! What a fucking annoyance." Hua Wan'er cursed. " These look like Ghost Monkeys. They live in closed places with dense Yin energy, like hidden tombs."
" To think I will see many of them."
As they fought, Hua Wan'er realized something. She turned her head back as her eyes widened. Jun Tianyun wasn't there!"
" Ju-Jun Tianyun? Where is Jun Tianyun?" She was surprised as she jumped back, looking around, However, Xiao Yue was nonchalant as her hands were covered in blood.
" Don't worry about him. The young master will be fine." Xiao Yue spoke with a chuckle, killing a few more Ghost Monkeys.
" KHIEEEEEIKKKK!!"
Suddenly, all the incoming shadow monkeys stopped their movement as a loud screech echoed from the deepest part of the cave. Without a second's delay, they all turned around and scattered fearfully, as if running away from panic.
Hua Wan'er was surprised when she saw that. As she turned around, she saw Jun Tianyun standing there back.
" H-Huh? Where did you come from? You were here a minute ago."
" Huh? Really?" Jun Tianyun feigned ignorance. " I just hid behind. I can't fight with those monsters, right?"
Hua Wan'er rolled her eyes when she heard Jun Tianyun. " What's with that loud screech? It felt like a Shadow Monkey…But it was different and louder. What happened?"
Jun Tianyun put his bloodied Dark Nebula in God's Space as he shrugged. " Who knows? But isn't that good for us? We can proceed further without hiccups, right?"
" Hmm? Why do I feel you are hiding something?" Hua Wan'er stared at Jun Tianyun. Jun Tianyun only gave an innocent smile.
Xiao Yue wiped the blood off her hand as she looked around. " Geez, My clothes are all dirty now."
Hua Wan'er was a bit stunned when she saw the corpses lying around Xiao Yue. Each of them was ripped apart with great force. However, the wound looked clean, as if cut with the sharpest knife.
" Miss Xiao, What kind of martial arts was that? You didn't even use any weapons, but you could kill them like that." Hua Wan'er couldn't help but be interested.
Xiao Yue was startled. " Eh? Martial arts? I don't need that. My Wind blades and claws are sharp enough to kill them." She replied with honesty.
Hua Wan'er turned speechless when she heard that. Did Xiao Yue mean her physical strength was enough to kill the Shadow Monkeys like that?
Jun Tianyun chuckled. " Well, Miss Hua, I think we should move ahead. Let's not waste time, shall we?"
Jun Tianyun moved forward as he walked deeper into the cave. Suddenly, the trio paused as their eyes widened.
One could see a row of bright pearls on the ceiling of the cave as if they were pointing in a direction. Hua Wan'er eyes widened. " Luminous Pearls?! So many of them?"
Jun Tianyun looked at those pearls as he chuckled. " Not really. Those are Fish Eye Stones. You can say they are a cheap, but effective substitution for Luminous Pearls.
Hua Wan'er was startled when she saw Jun Tianyun's calm expression. " You got quite some knowledge about them, huh?"
" Well, I told you. I have knowledge regarding everything." Jun Tianyun smiled. As they reached the end, all of them were surprised.
" This… This is…"
Hua Wan'er stuttered when she saw that. " This is an underground palace?"
Jun Tianyun paused as he walked near a stone monument. With a blow of wind, the dust on the monument scattered, revealing the texts on it.
" This is a tomb. The tomb of Nine Leaf Dao Master."
" Nine Leaf Dao Master?! Really?"
Hua Wan'er pushed Jun Tianyun aside when she saw the monument. " It…It really is."
" Do you know who is he?" Jun Tianyun was curious. Hua Wan'er nodded very fast.
" I know. He was a famous person a thousand years ago. I heard he got an extensive knowledge of martial arts. Some of his prized techniques were strictly guarded by the top families and sect of the country."
" However, Till now… No one ever found his resting place. This…This place…"

Hua Wan'er couldn't help but be excited as she walked inside the palace. However, The moment she was about to step inside, Jun Tianyun shouted.
" Halt! Don't go!"
Hua Wan'er quivered when she heard Jun Tianyun's shout. She immediately halted and looked back. " What happened? Aren't you going to come?"
Jun Tianyun chuckled as he took a pebble and threw it inside. Suddenly, a jet of liquid hit the floor, giving off a pungent smell. However, the moment it hit the floor, it corroded it terribly.
Hua Wan'er was shocked as she hurriedly took a few steps back, gasping in shock and horror. "Wh-what's that?"
Jun Tianyun rolled his eyes. " Did you really believe such a place wouldn't have deadly traps? That this is Body Pulverising Sulpher. One drop can create a hole in your body."
Hua Wan'er returned to Jun Tianyun's side. " But, That trap is dismantled, right? We can go inside now, right?"
Jun Tianyun shook his head. " I don't think so. Judging from the amount splashed, I bet there is a good load of them hidden in the walls."
" Moreover, That isn't the true entrance anyway." Jun Tianyun chuckled as he went back to the monument. He glanced at the monument as he pressed on a few special texts on it.
Strange enough, they caved inside, like when buttons get pressed. After pressing the seventh text, the monument rumbled as it suddenly started to move. A staircase leading to the underground was revealed before their eyes.
" You…You are really a genius." Hua Wan'er sighed as she looked at the staircase. Jun Tianyun nodded as he walked forward.
After a few minutes, they arrived inside the palace. It looked magnificent, Even without any opening, the air was fresh. The pearls made the entire palace radiant as they could see everything clearly.
Hua Wan'er and Xiao Yue couldn't help but stare at the interior of the palace with awe. Hua Wan'er rushed to a nearby room as she was stunned. It was filled with gold and riches.
" Wow…Nine Leaf Dao Master was quite a rich person." Hua Wan'er eyes sparkled.
Jun Tianyun laughed. " Those things are nothing. You think that's the true treasure of this place?"
Jun Tianyun laughed as he searched inside the palace. After that, he led them to a courtyard. Jun Tianyun was a bit startled as he saw a black mass of fog ahead. He saw two bronze pillars beside him.
" A formation? Heh, It's nothing." Hua Wan'er laughed as she walked out. Brandishing her sabers, she broke the bronze pillars.
Jun Tianyun's expression changed when he saw that. " Wait! Don't-!"
The bronze pillars broke as a baleful gale blew in the large courtyard. The fog scattered as two yellow, serpentine eyes glowed in the darkness.
Hua Wan'er was startled when she saw that. Xiao Yue also looked at those eyes as she couldn't help but tremble. " Th-That beast… What sort of beast was that."
When the fog scattered, Hua Wan'er and Xiao Yue's faces turned pale.
Hua Wan'er stuttered.
" Bl-Black Scaled Flood Dragon!!"
