Allen's eyes widened as he read SucMaDic's theory, and an unexpected cough escaped him as he choked on the noodle soup. Setting the cup down, he took a sip of his drink to clear his throat. 'Seriously?! How could they possibly think because of that?' he thought, amused and somewhat surprised that a player had managed to draw a connection between Father^Alex's recent activities and the devil emperor's interest.
However, Allen quickly dismissed the idea as a random analysis. 'Well, it was indeed because of that,' he admitted to himself. While intrigued by the player's deductive skills, he knew there was no concrete evidence to support such a claim. Still, a twinge of worry lingered. It dawned on him that he had unintentionally attracted an alarming amount of attention.
Despite the lack of evidence, the mere suggestion that the devil emperor and his minions might be threatened by the Shadow Syndicate guild fueled the discussion. Allen found himself caught in the crossfire of opinions, inadvertently becoming the center of attention.
The speculation continued. Some players echoed SucMaDic's sentiment, considering the Shadow Syndicate guild as a potential trigger for the villains' actions. Others disagreed, dismissing the idea as far-fetched.

The next comments started to mix with the players' curiosity about the Shadow Syndicate guild and also about Allen. They started talking and finding out about the Shadow Syndicate, exchanging as much information as they could. But, of course, they didn't get it.
Allen frowned. 'Why are they so random?' he thought. The thread was about Father^Alex, but it suddenly turned into the theory about why the emperor targeted the healer, then it turned into the Shadow Syndicate guild, and again the players mentioned Allen's name, even his previous in-game name, Godlike.
Another forum notification popped up. This time, some players mentioned his forum username. He bet that was because they saw his online status.
Beat_My_Meat: @AllenGodlike You are in the Shadow Syndicate guild, right? Tell us more about them! Can I join your guild? I'm level 81 Rogue.
WarriorGod: @AllenGodlike Are you guys planning to recruit Father^Alex? Or make a comeback? Or maybe joining Celestial Vanguard?

Allen sighed and shook his head. 'I should have seen this coming,' he mumbled to himself. He had no choice but to make the account after the fake Godlike took his previous in-
game nickname. He took this name in case he had to clear something up.
He took another sip of his drink and decided to drop a reply to clear up some of the confusion.
AllenGodlike: @Beat_My_Meat Yes, I'm part of the Shadow Syndicate guild. But they aren't recruiting right now. @WarriorGod No, we aren't planning to recruit Father^Alex or join Celestial Vanguard. @TwoJuicyMelons No, the devil emperor isn't targeting me. I was hunting as usual and didn't encounter the villains at all. It seems the villains are only targeting Father^Alex.
The comments kept pouring in, but Allen decided to ignore most of them. It seemed like the players were more interested in weaving intricate theories rather than accepting a straightforward answer.

Continuing to eat, he put his phone down again. 'Tell me how I can get out of this unwanted spotlight,' thought Allen with a huff, rolling his eyes.
He glanced at the gaming forum one more time before putting his full focus on the noodles in front of him. As he slurped the noodles, he couldn't help but let out a sigh.
'At least no one suspects I'm the devil emperor,' he thought as he fed his noodles into his mouth, trying to be positive. Still, as he fell silent, a lot of things went through his head. He was wondering if someday his identity was revealed and the players found out he was the devil emperor, what would their reaction be?
