Chapter 542 Sincerity

Villain Ch 542. Sincerity

The thought had crossed Allen's mind, and he couldn't help but voice his curiosity. He flicked his gaze at Vivian, raising an eyebrow as he pondered aloud, "Thinking again, why do I rarely see men taking photos with you? No, in fact, I've never seen anyone take a photo with you."

Vivian let out a long exhale and pouted, her elbows finding a resting place on the table, her palms supporting her chin. "Indeed, Urban Enigma is a famous magazine. But just like all fashion magazines, its primary audience is female. So that's why male models often get more attention than female ones. Unless, of course, you're one of those famous models in a league of their own," she explained with a huff. "Well, men probably read a lot too, but how many guys would actually want to ask for a photo with their favorite model?" she added, her tone a mix of amusement and resignation.

Allen couldn't help but nod in understanding. "True, I guess most guys wouldn't feel comfortable asking for a photo in that situation," he mused, appreciating the dynamics of the modeling world a bit more.

Vivian leaned back in her chair, a playful glint in her eyes. "And besides, I'm not as famous as you now," she teased, a cheeky smile gracing her lips.

Allen chuckled, shaking his head. "Fame doesn't make you any less approachable. If anything, it just makes people more hesitant," he said, reaching across the table to give her hand a reassuring squeeze. "But hey, I'll always ask for a photo with you."

He couldn't deny the truth in Vivian's words. Some of his friends were avid fans of various artists, but when they met them in the real world, the interactions were often limited to a handshake, and the thought of taking a photo with their favorite idols rarely crossed their minds unless they were truly enamored.

Vivian's cheeks flushed slightly, a smile playing on her lips. "Smooth," she remarked, squeezing his hand in return. Still, there was disappointment in her tone.

"You sound disappointed by that," Allen observed, his gaze fixed on Vivian.

"I am," she admitted, lowering both of her hands to the table. "Since that means you will be even more famous, and I'm afraid you will forget me one day," she added, her tone teasing but her expression holding a hint of seriousness.

Allen leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Vivian, no amount of fame could make me forget you," he said sincerely. "If anything, the more attention I get, the more I appreciate moments like these, just us, without the glare of the public eye."

Vivian smiled at his reassuring words, a warmth spreading through her. "You promise?" she asked, her eyes searching for sincerity.

"I promise," Allen replied. "No matter how famous I become, you'll always be the one I want to share my moments with."

The sincerity in his words melted any lingering worry in Vivian's heart. She squeezed his hand harder, a playful glint in her eyes. "Well, just don't let the fame get to your head, okay? I don't want to be dating a celebrity who forgets his roots," she teased.

Allen chuckled, leaning in closer. "Don't worry, my roots are firmly grounded. And you," he said, tracing a finger lightly along her hand, "are a significant part of those roots."

"Thank you," she quickly said. "To be honest, I said it to tease you. But I didn't expect you to be so serious about it, and I feel so grateful about it," she expressed, surprise evident in her voice.

"Don't be sorry. I'm a bit sensitive to things like this," he admitted, realizing that maybe his reaction had been more intense than necessary. However, he appreciated her straightforwardness.

"But Allen…" she began again, a smile playing on her lips. "I'm glad you told me all of that. At least I can be reassured that even though you have multiple relationships, you are that serious. You won't simply throw me or the others away just because you're bored," she said, laying her feelings bare.

Allen looked into her eyes, understanding the weight of her words. It was true; he had multiple relationships, each unique and valuable in its own way. Yet, the sincerity of his feelings for Vivian was undeniable. He squeezed her hand gently.

"Vivian, you're not just one of the others. Each relationship I have is different, but they all matter to me. And you, you matter a lot," he confessed, sincerity coloring his tone.

Vivian's smile widened, a mixture of relief and happiness on her face. "I'm glad to hear that," she said. "I guess I should get used to your popularity, huh? With fame and all."

Allen nodded, a playful glint in his eyes. "Well, get ready for the crazy ride. But I promise, no matter how crazy it gets, you'll always have a special place in my world. The real question is… are you okay with this? You're not going to regret being with someone like me? With multiple relationships like this?" Allen asked, a hint of vulnerability in his eyes.

Vivian leaned in, her gaze unwavering. "Allen, I've known you as a gamer, a model, and a person. I can't predict the future, but I'm willing to see where this goes. Regret? I don't think so. I'm not expecting a fairytale, just something real."

Allen smiled, a genuine expression that reached his eyes. "Real, huh? I like the sound of that. No masks, no pretenses, just us."

She chuckled. "Exactly. We navigate the craziness together."

Their hands remained entwined, a silent promise between them. Allen took a moment, glancing around the cafe. "You know, I never thought my life would take this turn. From gaming competitions to modeling and now... this."

Vivian raised an eyebrow, curious. "This? What do you mean?"

He motioned between them. "Us. A connection beyond the virtual world, beyond the photo shoots. It's unexpected, but it feels right."

Vivian smiled, a tender expression. "Sometimes, the best things are the unexpected ones."
