Chapter 420 Uncommon

Villain Ch 420. Uncommon

Allen let out a long sigh as Elio's avatar disappeared into the digital abyss. He wasn't entirely sure if Elio would pay heed to his advice, given that what he'd just spilled had more to do with Elio's guild politics than the real world. For all Elio knew, it could've been some obscure game lore. But hey, that was the best warning shot Allen could fire.

Allen wasn't doing this out of sheer kindness for Elio. It was more about self-preservation. If Sophia managed to stage a coup and wrest control of Elio's guild, those guys would become a bigger problem. And Allen would be caught in the crossfire. Getting out from under Sophia's thumb was like trying to pry a giant crab's claw open – tricky as hell.

So, while Allen might've initiated this little warning dance with Elio, he also intended to drop a few more cautionary hints for Elio's main party down the line. Dealing with Sophia's manipulations required a certain level of sneakiness.

With that resolve firm in his mind, Allen decided to get back to business. He strolled off toward the next hubbub of player activity.

Soon, Allen's keen eyes spotted the bustling group of players up ahead, their coordinated efforts evident as they took on an Undead Warrior. He watched as the tank valiantly drew the monster's attention, skillfully using his abilities to keep the beast focused solely on him.

The priest, positioned strategically behind the tank, played their vital role in keeping the party's health in check, casting protective spells and healing their companions when necessary. The four DPS members, though of lower levels, demonstrated remarkable teamwork as they relentlessly assaulted the Undead Warrior.

He mused to himself, "Hmm, should I take care of them?" There was a hint of hesitation in his voice. He knew the tank and priest carried the DPS players. It was a normal thing, yet he was well aware that groups like this one could sometimes be filled with entitled or unruly individuals.

However, another thought crossed his mind. "Well, let's just say this is their mental test." He couldn't resist the temptation to see how this group would fare against a formidable adversary like himself. Allen was curious to see if they could rise to the occasion and prove their mettle or if they would crumble under the pressure.

With his decision made, he readied himself to step out of the shadows and present the players with an unexpected challenge. Allen approached the unsuspecting group, his footsteps were eerily silent, and his eyes burned with a chilling killing intent. He emerged from the shadows, and the mere sight of him sent shivers down the spines. Their faces paled as they turned to him, wide-eyed and filled with fear.

Before they could even react, the tank, his instincts kicking in, blurted out, "Run!" The urgency in his voice was unmistakable as he made an instinctual command to his party. The DPS members, in a frantic panic, reached for their Home Crystals, the lifeline that could potentially save them from imminent doom.

However, Allen was quicker than they had anticipated. With lightning speed, he lunged forward, closing the distance between them in the blink of an eye. His presence was overwhelming, and the group's escape attempts were futile as they found themselves trapped in a deadly encounter they had not anticipated.

The tank and the priest, realizing the imminent danger, prepared to counter Allen's attack. Their hands moved with practiced precision, ready to cast protective spells and engage in combat to defend their party members. But Allen was quicker and more ruthless than they could have ever anticipated.

Ignoring the tank and priest, Allen bypassed them with unnatural swiftness. His target was the defenseless DPS members, who were still frantically trying to activate their Home Crystals. One by one, he closed in on them and thrust his sword into their bodies with ruthless precision. Blood sprayed, and the sound of massacre echoed through the grim battlefield.

The priest desperately tried to heal the fallen DPS or raise protective barriers, but the level difference was insurmountable. Their efforts were futile in the face of the relentless onslaught. The tank, although valiantly attempting to block Allen's path, found his efforts in vain as Allen continued his merciless assault, leaving no room for defense or escape.

As the last of the DPS fell before his relentless onslaught, Allen began to turn his attention toward the tank and the priest. His malevolent intent hung heavily in the air, a harbinger of doom for the remaining survivors. However, just as he was about to deal the final blow, Allen noticed something unexpected.

The priest had managed to activate his Home Crystal in the nick of time, his figure shimmering and disappearing from the battlefield. The tank, in a desperate bid to escape the same fate, began fumbling with his own Home Crystal, but Allen had no intention of letting him escape.

With a sinister grin, Allen unleashed his dark orbs, sending them hurtling toward the tank. The orbs struck with deadly accuracy, and the tank's lifeless body crumpled to the ground, leaving no chance for escape or survival. Allen's eyes gleamed with a cruel satisfaction as he ensured that none of his prey would escape his wrath.

Intending to open a portal for his return, Allen was suddenly besieged by five Mandragoras that materialized out of thin air. The vicious plant-like creatures swarmed him, their sharp teeth and claws bared in a frenzy of aggression. Reacting quickly, Allen summoned his barrier to shield himself from their onslaught.

However, the unexpected assault didn't end there. Out of nowhere, a burly blacksmith wielding a massive grand ax charged at Allen, his weapon gleaming menacingly in the dim light of the virtual world. The combined assault of the relentless Mandragoras and the blacksmith proved too much for Allen's barrier, and it shattered into fragments.

Trying to defend himself, Allen utilized his Telekinesis Blast. With a burst of power, he managed to divert the attacks of both the blacksmith and the remaining Mandragoras, buying himself a moment to assess the situation.

As the dust settled and the swirling battle cries subsided, Allen's gaze locked onto the blacksmith who had charged at him with such fervor. To his surprise, he recognized the face beneath the blacksmith's helmet – it was Liam.
