Villain Ch 400. His Inner Demon [Part 2]

Jordan and Allen stood locked in a fierce struggle, pushing their clashing blades against each other with all their might. Their eyes remained locked on each other.

With the painful wound on Jordan's hand serving as a constant reminder of his disadvantage, he knew that if he stayed in this deadlock, his defeat would be inevitable. However, Jordan remained surprisingly calm, carefully calculating his options and searching for a way out of this precarious situation.

Despite the challenging circumstances, Jordan couldn't help but be deeply impressed by Allen's skill and tenacity. The young man had proven himself to be a formidable opponent, pushing Jordan to his limits and earning his respect in the process.

Jordan's intense gaze remained locked onto the young man standing before him. As he looked into Allen's eyes, he saw a fire burning within them, a fierceness that spoke of a life filled with harsh lessons and difficult challenges. Allen's eyes bore the scars of a past that had forced him to grow up quickly, teaching him unpleasant truths about the world and demanding that he fight to survive.

At that moment, Jordan couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions—pride in Allen's resilience and strength, regret for not having been a part of his life, and a deep longing to bridge the gap that had separated them for so long. It was a complex and overwhelming moment, and Jordan was left grappling with the weight of it all as the battle raged on between them.

A smile crept onto Jordan's lips, a gesture that left Allen momentarily perplexed. However, the meaning behind that smile would soon become clear. In a swift and unexpected move, Jordan threw himself backward, causing Allen to topple over him. With agility that defied his age, Jordan quickly maneuvered his legs, placing them on Allen's body. In a single, powerful motion, he delivered a well-aimed kick to Allen's torso.

The force of the kick sent Allen sprawling backward, his breath momentarily knocked out of him. It was a calculated maneuver, a testament to Jordan's experience and skill.

[Allen has taken 54 damage points!]

Jordan's counter had successfully kept Allen at bay, sending him tumbling backward. The well-executed maneuver had created the distance Jordan needed, and in the process, Allen had managed to retrieve his blade.

Both combatants swiftly regained their footing, their bodies poised for the next exchange. The intensity of their duel had only grown, and with renewed determination, they prepared to face each other once more.

With a renewed sense of urgency, Allen lunged at Jordan once more. He knew that Jordan now only had one blade at his disposal, and he couldn't afford to give him the chance to regain the upper hand. His focus was solely on overwhelming Jordan as quickly as possible and securing his victory.

Jordan used his Hiding skill. Recognizing his attempt, Allen threw his blade.

Jordan's attempt was abruptly interrupted as Allen's blade found its mark, burying itself in Jordan's shoulder.

[Jordan has taken 158 damage points!]

The impact jolted Jordan's body, making him reappear in the arena with a grimace of pain. He hadn't expected Allen's attack to be so precise and well-timed, and it had effectively canceled his attempt to vanish from sight.

With the pain throbbing in his shoulder, Jordan knew he was vulnerable, and Allen wasted no time in capitalizing on the advantage.

Allen's determination to finish the fight intensified as he prepared to deliver what could be the final blow to Jordan. However, instead of lunging directly at him, he decided to take a risky gambit. With a swift motion, Allen threw his blade at Jordan once again, making it whiz through the air in a calculated arc.

Jordan had been gearing up to counter Allen's imminent attack. But the unexpected move caught him off guard. The blade hurtled towards him.

Despite the initial surprise, Jordan managed to brush it off, avoiding the hit with a swift movement of his blade. However, Allen's blade had been a mere lure, a diversion to distract Jordan.

With lightning-fast agility, Allen swiftly followed up with a powerful kick to Jordan's chest. The impact sent Jordan sprawling backward, knocking him off his feet and onto the ground. The duel had taken a sudden and decisive turn in Allen's favor.

[Jordan has taken 101 damage points!]

Allen wasted no time capitalizing on his advantage. He lunged toward Jordan, his movements swift and precise. In a split second, Allen deftly grabbed Jordan's hand that held the blade and, with a powerful thrust, plunged the weapon into Jordan's chest.

There was a moment of stunned silence as the blade pierced through Jordan's assassin armor and into his character's chest. The impact sent a shockwave through the digital arena, and the onlookers watched in awe as Jordan's character faltered, his HP bar depleting rapidly.

[Critical hit!]

[Jordan has taken 628 damage points!]

It was a decisive move, and the outcome of the duel seemed to be sealed. Allen stood there, his expression serious and determined, while Jordan's character staggered, its virtual life hanging in the balance.

Jordan's character's HP bar plummeted to zero. His character disintegrated into countless digital bits, dissipating into the virtual realm. The match was over, and victory belonged to Allen.

[Congratulations, Allen! You win!]

The others who had been watching in awe erupted into cheers and applause, celebrating the incredible duel they had just witnessed. Except Emma, of course. Her jaw dropped in disbelief, shocked by the result.

"You know," Shea whispered, her voice filled with a sense of admiration, "I think they are suitable as father and son. They are equally fierce warriors."

Zoe turned her attention back to the conversation, her brow furrowed with curiosity. "But didn't Allen win? Does that mean he's better than Jordan?" she asked in the same hushed tone.

"Jordan is not young anymore," Shea replied, "and he rarely plays games. Yet, he managed to corner Allen that far. That's more than impressive."

"You're right," Zoe conceded, nodding in agreement. She cast another glance at the arena, where Allen's avatar stood victorious. "Now the question is, how can we tell them that they are father and son?" she mused, her voice tinged with intrigue.
